First one was just a filler and getting back into things.

Now its time to really get back going.

I've thought long and hard over what happened the other day with Bella.  Bella's acted like nothing happened, which makes me think that she was ready. I don't want to hurt her, but not being with her and not being able to kiss and hold her hurts me. And even though the civil side is fighting it, I've decided that we both are ready. At least this way, we both get what we want. She wants to forget the worries for a short while and be with me. My animal side wants to kiss her all over.

 Although, I can't think of sex until after the interview with the deputy. Another animal was found close to our house and whoever did it wrote "Carlisle" in the grass. Even Alice is starting to think that it's Edward.

"Sorry, Carlisle."  the deputy said as we sat down. "Now, your name is Carlisle Edward Cullen, right?"

"Yes."

"Ex-husband of Esme Alice Cullen?"

"Yes."

"At any time up to the point of his disappearance, did Charlie ever find out about you and Bella?"

"No, we really didn't become a couple until a few days or weeks before he disappeared."

"Do you know anything about the animal attacks?"

"Not a clue. I hope it stops soon."

The deputy looked at me. Then he nodded and motioned for me to leave.

 On the way back to the house, my phone rang. It was a text from Alice. Get home. Bella's freaking.

I sped home as fast as I could. and when I got there, I was attacked by a sweet smelling Bella. She was crying.

"What's wrong Bella?" I asked cradling her in my arms as she cried.

"I had a dream that you and Charlie got killed by whoever is killing the animals."

It broke my heart, or it would if I still had a beating one. "I'm fine Bella. It was just a dream. And the police are close to finding your dad."

She didn't answer. I carried her upstairs and set her on my lap in her bed. Her eyes were closed and her heartbeat was slowing again. My phone beeped again, but Bella ignored it.

I tried to calm her down. She wanted to make sure though. And the Volturi is coming tomorrow. So be ready. Jasper and I aren't there. Wanted to give you all some privacy.

I didnt' respond to Alice's text. I didn't want to. I was where I wanted to be. I rubbed Bella's back as she finally calmed down fully.

"What happened?" I asked, looking into her eyes.

"I fell asleep soon after you left. Then I saw you burning, and Charlie dead in front of me. I couldn't stand it." She whispered.

I kissed her softly. "I'm not go anywhere. And Charlie will be fine."

I didn't add, I hope, but that was what I was thinking.

Bella kissed me then. She was full of desperation to be close to me. But that is not how I wanted it to begin. "Bella," I said, fighting to control myself while she kissed my neck.

"Please, I am ready," she responded, still kissing my neck.

I growled a response, but didn't push her away. She pushed me back onto the bed and unbuttoned my shirt. I was fighting myself to stay in control and not take over as her warm hands traveled to my pants.

I laid there next to Bella while she slept the whole night. To me, it felt perfect, but the fact that Caiuss, Markus, and Aro would be coming here scared me. I know they would want Bella to change, but I can't change her yet. I want her to be with her dad a few more years. I don't want to make everything worse by turning Bella when her dad is missing either.

She clinged to me all night long, warming me with her body heat. I knew that we were perfect for each other now. It was so rare, but I knew what was happening. Our love is become one, she is becoming my true mate, so her warmth is reflected onto me. I can feel only her warmth, but that's the only warmth I want.
