A few months later

Your POV

You were finally back at your small apartment. It was a nice place just for you and was close to your job and the University. After arriving in Paris the Headmaster explain how things are, and expected great things from you. You talk to everyone back home whenever you could but it was hard to call them at different time zones. You try calling Suzaku many times but he never answered. Lelouch's phone was barely getting any calls and Rolo's phone was out of service.

"I wonder what's the latest news?" You walked back from work. You open the door and started making some soup.

"That idiot what is he thinking." You said with an angry voice.

"And Suzaku when I get a hold on you I'll make sure to give him a piece of my mind." You said as you look at the time.

"Right now they should answer their phones." You dialed Suzaku first and this time he picked up.

"Hello, Suzaku?"

"Hey beautiful about time you called"

"I've tried calling you every day and you never answer. So what's new?" You said acting like you didn't see him on the news.

"Nothing just same old things me and Lelouch patch things up again." He said while his voice seem a bit high than normal.

"Then explain why I saw you and Lelouch on the news." You said as you heard him smack his head.

"Look I can explain you see.."

"Suzaku what's are you up to? And why is it that you or Lelouch never answered or called me back? And why is Rolo's phone disconnected?"

"Look (F/n) we've been busy and Lelouch was the one with the idea of being emperor. That's why we haven't called or answered you. As for Rolo, he's dead."

"Rolo died how?"

"He overused his geass and his heart couldn't take it anymore." He said as you sat on your couch.

"Suzaku please you guys have to stop I don't want to lose you guys."

Suzaku POV

I heard her clearly she must come to a reason why we're doing this.

"We can't the plan has been set and we'll begin once the opportunity comes."

"Then what about us Suzaku? Did the promise mean nothing to you? Was it just so you have a reason to make sure I wouldn't be with someone else?"

"No, I care about us more than anything. That's why I'm doing this so we can have a family without all this discrimination and stuff. I want it to be a peaceful place for us to be in." I said as I heard her sobbing.

"Suzaku... if you believe that... then promise me you'll both come back to me alive. If I find out that both of you die. I'll make sure to drag you both out of your graves and give you guys a piece of my mind." She said as I chuckled a bit.

"You have my word I will find you we'll be together. I promise." I said as she sigh through the phone.

"Suzaku I love you. So please keep your promise to me okay."

"I will and I love you too and I will always love you," I said as I smiled at the thought of her worrying about me.

"You better get some rest I know it's late over there. And you probably have school the next day."

"Okay try to call or text me please that lets me know you're still alive."

"I'll try it going to be busy now but I'll try to call you when I can."

"Alright, goodnight Suzaku."

"Good night (F/n)" I said as she ended the call. I know this going to be harder on her now.

"Suzaku the emperor is calling you in his throne room," Loyal said.

"I'll be there in a minute I had to take a call that's all," I said as I walked past him.

'I just hope this plan of his works in our favor.'
