Lelouch POV

After the whole shopping with Suzaku and awkward silence, we got the gift. I let him choose it since we both know her well. He seemed too concentrated that he walked into a post. I try to hold in my laughter but was unable.

Now we're back in class and him in between us isn't helping me at all. He kept looking at her and then looked away. While she kept her emotionless face on the whole time.

"Miss (F/n) can you read next." The teacher asked. She got up and began reading it without a mistake. Almost all the guys looked at her and admired her beauty.

'Sick basterds she's not someone for you guys to be with.' I thought as I looked at one who was eyeing her up and down.

"Excellent job (F/n) just what I expected of you." The teacher said as she sat down and looked away from the window.

Once class was over we make out way to the council room. That is until the guy that was eyeing her stop us.

"Hey (F/n) you should go out with me after all I am the most eligible guy for you to be with." He said with a smirk.

"I rather eat dirt than go out with you." She said as she was about to leave he got her wrist.

"Listen you should be honored to be with me my family is all nobility."

"Let me make this clear to you I don't want to go out with you. So let me go or else you'll regret it." She said as she try to pull away from him but his grip was too strong.

"Listen when I saw go out with me you go out with me got it. No one turns me down and gets away with it." He hold her wrist tighter than she cringe a bit.

Your POV

You were about to punch him until he let go of your wrist. You looked to what caused this and saw Suzaku holding tightly his wrist.

"She said no. Leave her alone." He said as he lets go of his wrist and came to me.

"Are you alright (F/n)?" He said as he try to grab my wrist. You stepped back and looked away.

"I'm fine it's just a little pain nothing more." You walked to where Lelouch was and walk beside him.

"You sure you'll be fine." He asked.

"Yeah don't worry about it we have to get to madam prez before she goes all guts on us."

"Right as long as she doesn't make me do all the work again," Lelouch said as we both walked away.

"Hey (F/n) are you sure your alright," Suzaku asked. You looked away because of your blushing face.

"I'm fine just leave me alone." And you walked ahead ignoring Lelouch calls.

Suzaku POV

"What's gotten into her?" Lelouch wondered as I saw her walking away. Soon his phone beep showing that it was a message from Milly.

"Does Milly need something? I asked him.

"Milly wants us to distractions her until she gives us a sign to bring her to the club room." He says.

"Suzaku can you distract her while I go help out the others. I know it'll be a difficult job but you are the one that she hasn't talked to after so many years." Lelouch said as he walk away but stopped to look at me.

I thought back on how she would smile at me with happiness. How she would help me out of trouble or fix me up after fighting. Even when we got separated she grew up to be a fine lady. That was until I met Euphemia and fell in love with Euphy. After I told everyone she did start to avoid everyone. Now here I am trying to get her attention.

"Well, what are you waiting for Suzaku if you want her to like you. Start at the beginning meaning ask her out for some event that may come up with you." Lelouch said as he looked at me disappointingly.

That's when it hit me I could take her to the wedding that I'm supposed to go to. I looked where she went and started running. Just as I got near the window I saw her standing there looking up in the sky.

"Good, she still there I can still ask her out." I quickly as could reach her without any accidents. I saw her standing and looking up still.

"(F/n) wait!" She turns and I stop in front of her trying to get my breath again.

"What do you want Suzaku?" I looked her in the eyes and she seemed not surprised.

"Um...I want you to come with me to a wedding. I know it's the last minute for you to know but I didn't know how to ask you." She seems unfazed.

"I guess you don't want to go." I was about to walk away.

"Do I have to wear a long or short dress?" She said which got my hopes up.

"It's just a formal event be sure to take some extra clothes it's out of the country," I told her as she raised an eyebrow.

"Okay, exactly where is the wedding at." She asked.

"It's at the Chinese federation." Her eyes widen but it went back to normal.

"Fine, I just hope no one bothers me. When do I have to get ready."

"Three days from now."

"Alright, I'll be ready by then. So want to walk to the council room or do you have somewhere else to be?"

"No, I'll walk with you to the council room," I said as I walked beside her. For the first time, I feel like something is blooming inside of me.

'Could I let go of the past?' I thought as we walk together.
