Your POV

You saw Zero there with Kallen and Kaguya at the entrance. Everyone was surprised to see him here. All of a sudden guards came and surrounded them. I was about to get up and stop it but prince Schneizel came up and dismissed the scene.

'Lelouch you idiot why did you come especially here.' You didn't show your emotions so no one could tell what you thought. All of a sudden Zero challenge Schneizel to a game of chess and if he wins he get Suzaku but if he loses he has to show his face to him.

'That idiot he knows he has never beaten Schneizel. Why is he taking the risk on this bet.' You began to set the chess pieces back into place and just in time as they came to the spot you were at.

"Forgive me fair maiden but can we borrow this set for our game." He asked kindly.

"Of course majesty, go right ahead." You said as you got up and left the board to them, but you stick around to see who would win.

Time skip after the whole Nina going crazy event.

Suzaku POV

Nina was taken back to the Avalon for the rest of the night. I was looking for (F/n) but she disappeared from the crowd. I look every place that I could think of all except the balcony. Just as was reaching the door I could hear her talking to Kallen and Zero as well.

"Come on (F/n) why suffer staying at Ashford where he will never see you that way. Why don't you come with us? Zero is willing to help you escape that place whenever you want." Kallen said.

"I can't I have a family that will worry if I disappear as well as friends like Sheryl and Milly. Plus it's not that I'm staying for him I have unfinished business to do and one of them is graduation and college." She said as she looked out.

"Whenever you want to join us find us alright," Zero said as he and Kallen began to walk away. I hid in a corner making sure I wasn't seen. By the looks of it, they passed by without seeing me.

'Was Zero asking her to join them and betray Britannia?'

'Suzaku why are you hiding?" I turn and saw (F/n) her face expressionless. I couldn't help but feel betrayed by her.

"Ah, nothing I was just looking for you. We should get back." I said as I began to walk but as much as wanted to ask her. I couldn't even look at her she was a whole new person. I made her like this and now I have to pay the price that I caused her. That I caused everyone seeing her like this.

Time skip next day

I finished getting dressed in the uniform I wear plus my cape to show what rank I have. I began to walk where (F/n) was at and hope to tell her how I'd felt.

Your POV

After talking on the phone with Lelouch you began to question yourself. After all the time you've spent not showing much emotion, you failed around a few people. Lelouch being one and Gino plus Milly. You fixed your (f/c) dress and put on your earrings. (The picture is what the dress looks like.)

"Might as well get this over with it." You open the door and saw Suzaku leaning get on the wall.

"You alright?"

"Tell me do you want to join Zero?" He asked looking me in the eye.

"You have a problem with eavesdropping."

"Just answer"

"No, I'm not going to. Unlike you who has betrayed your family, I'm not going to betray my family." You said as you began to walk but he grabbed your arm.

"I did what I had to do for our people."

"For the people or for yourself." You pulled your arm away as he stood there.

'As much as I want to be with him I won't stand for his ideas.'

Time skip

Suzaku POV

I sat there thinking back to what she said. How she would never betray her family. I did what I had to do to save Japan. Yet how did she remember about the secret of what I did? The emperor made sure to erase the memory of Nunnally from everyone. So that includes when we were kids.

'Could it be that she broke the power of geass? No only C.C has that power to break it.' We continue hearing the ceremony but they stop. The guy name xingke was standing there saying he refuses to let this happen to the empress.

Just as they were getting near to each other the flags went down and Zero had the empress. Then out of nowhere the knightmares of the black Knights arrive and took the empress.

"(F/n) we have to go you're not safe here." I heard Gino say to (F/n) and she agreed with him. I could see that she trusted him more than me.

"Suzaku let's go we have to leave." He said as he hold her hand and began to move.

Gino POV

I got (F/n) back to the Avalon just in time for all of us to get deployed to the battlefield. I kept my promise to (F/n) are all costs.

Flashback

Just as I was about to leave (F/n) grab my arm. I looked at her she seem like a whole different person than before.

"Gino promise me you won't tell Suzaku or anyone else. I'm trusting you with this secret with your life. If Suzaku were to find out about this I will never forgive you and I will leave this place for good"

"I promise I won't tell anyone unless you tell me I can."

Flashback over

I still think that Suzaku should know about this, but she doesn't want him to know. I wonder if that girl name Milly can help me out with them.
