"I want you today, tomorrow, next week, next month, next year and for the rest of my life."
Afira's P.O.V
It was very rare where I'd wake up with a grin on my face, but today was different. Suddenly everything around me didn't look so dull, but beautiful. Hussain was still besides me, sleeping on his stomach, I heard him murmur something in his sleep, but I ignored him. I traced his jaw line with my index finger. "Hussain, get up. You've got to go work," I urged him to get up, but he only moaned.
"Princess... 5 minutes more."
"You're going to be late!" This was the second day of our married life and his already being stupid.
"5 minutes," he begged.
"Fine," he curled into the perfect position and had a snooze, on the other hand, I went to the bathroom and got a jug full of cold water. I'm just being a very helpful wife. I went back into the room. "Hussain, wake up," I tried again.
"5 minutes," he pleaded again.
"Fine," I pulled the jug over his head and poured all the water over him. Drenching him completely. His immediately jumped from the bed; he narrowed his eyes at me.
"What was that for?!" He asked me in a low, intimidating voice.
"Why don't you ask yourself that? You're already late." I act as casual as I can.
"That was not funny," he pushed me to the wall, I froze on the spot.
"This isn't a very comfortable position," I gave him a nervous chuckle.
But he only returned a smirk back. He leaned forward. His arms were around my waist, his touch warm touches made me shiver. I could feel the sparks every time he touched me. I closed my eyes. If his going to kiss me he could just do it now. Get it out of the way, you know? But it was disrupted. By a knock. I didn't know if I was happy or angry, either way I breathed out a sigh. I grabbed a scarf and wrapped it around me head, also covering my chest. As I opened the door I found an old lady standing there, about the age of Ammi.
"AsalamWalayKum," I greeted her, I let her in.
"WalayKumAsalam! You must be the new bride, I'm Hussain's Aunty, his Mother's close friend. MashAllah, you're very beautiful. A match made in Heaven, if I do say so myself. Where's Hussain?" She rambled on, Hussain came in from the bathroom wearing a white top and grey sweatpants.
"My star! MashAllah you look handsome. You've grown up so fast! And you found yourself a perfect wife." She commented, making me blush.
"Only the best, Aunty Ji." She lightly slapped his shoulders and laughed.
"Bless you both, now, when are grand-children coming?" She asked, suddenly. I didn't answer. How could I? Children? So soon? I'm already looking after one.
"Soon, InshaAllah. Right Princess?" I didn't answer, I only looked down. The floor looked very appealing today. The carpet felt soft...
"Ahan. Well, I have to go now, I thought I have come all the way here so I'd give you both a small visit, bless you both," she shut the door and left. I sighed. Phew. I started cleaning the wet bed, changing the covers.
"So, Princess, when are we having kids?" I stopped and turned to face him.
"I don't know, maybe when you start to grown up?"
"Touché."
"Seriously though, when? I want junior Hussain and mini Afira running around the house." He came and sat down on the bed.
"Get off the bed! I'm cleaning! We'll not have any kids. If you're that desperate for kids maybe you can go to your best friend, since you've planning out your whole future together, since you guys were kids." I said, with a hint of jealousy.
"I smell something burning," I raised my eyebrows, "oh wait, it's just Princess being jealous."
"Ha- ha, very funny." I replied sarcastically.
"Admit it your jealous."
"I'm not," he pushed me down on the bed, so he was on top of me... "Kindly get off me, I don't want to die."
"Admit your jealous," I was looked up to his ocean brown eyes.
"Maybe a little," I admitted, a little.
"You care for me don't you?
"Yes." Was my short response.
"You're just trying to be a good wife?"
"Indeed."
"You just don't want to see your husband with another woman?"
"Obviously not."
"You're scared to loose me?"
"Yeah."
"You think I should stay away from Shanu?"
"In fact, I do?" The responses were very simple, I liked it. It was fun.
"You love me?"
"Of course I do, I'm your wife and I love-" I stopped when I realised where I was going. I wanted to give myself 4 tight slaps for being so stupid, and getting too carried away with this fun activity.
"Would you like to finish?" I shook my head, rapidly.
"No, get off me," I tried to push him off, but it was no use, he was too strong.
"Finish your sentence," he said in his low voice.
"No..." I whispered.
"Finish your sentence," he repeated once more.
"I... Love..." Come on Afira, you can do this, you're telling him how you actually feel about him. It's good to be honest... I closed my eyes tight, "I... Love... Yo- You." I felt my heart beat increasing, trust me when I say this, I feel like I'm going to have a heart attack right now. Abruptly, the door opened revealing Shanayah and Zara standing there, may I add with a huge grin on their faces. I wanted to dig myself a hole and just die in it. Instead I dug my head in Hussain's chest. Did they hear everything? Please say they didn't.
"Mission accomplished!" They both cheered and around the hole room.
"What?" Both, Hussain and I, said together.
"I'll explain," Shanayah volunteered to speak. "So... Don't be angry at us... We just... Uh- Never mind... A week before both of you were getting married Zara sensed some tension between the both of you, I said I'll come over on the first day of your married life."
"Can you get to the point?" Hussain asked, clearly annoyed.
"Maybe you want to get off me too." I reminded him, that he was on top of me.
"Oh sorry," he got off my and pulled me up.
"So... We had a plan. I was going to be super friendly, maybe even flirty, if I needed to, just so you could feel a little jealous... And maybe tell him what your True Heart Desires." Shanayah explained.
"So this was all an act?" I asked in disbelief, but also relieved. Both of them nodded.
"Zain also played a role in this game, Shanayah also came here to personally invite us to her wedding... So she didn't have any intention of stealing Bhai away from you, also, I know she wouldn't Since she's my childhood bestie!" The only word that came into my head was: Unbelievable! Nonetheless, Zara carried on, "Anyways, we thought it'll take you at least a year to admit that you like Bhai, but I guess with Bhai being very pushy we all got what we wanted." Zara elaborated.
"Hussain and I are only friends, nothing more, and I can tell you this now, nothing, and I mean nothing will ever get in the way of your relationship, not me, not no-one, and if anyone or anything does, I know both of you will fight it together; you guys are made for each other," Shanayah said, emotionally. I got up and gave her a hug.
"Thank you, and I'm sorry for my rude behaviour," I whispered in her ear, she patted my back, suggesting everything was alright.
"Yes! Hafira!" Zara screamed, Shanayah then joined in.
"I don't know what to say," Hussain said, clueless.
"Maybe you can say 'thank you'? Would your ego allow you to say that?" Shanayah said in mock anger. I chuckled, quietly.
"Whatever. Thank you. Now if you don't mind, can we?" Hussain indicted to us, they both nodded and walked to the door.
"Meet you downstairs Bhabi, and maybe you should shut the door?" Zara pointed out, Hussain got up and locked the door. We were both alone now. I felt so guilty, I shouldn't have judged Shanayah from when I first met her. It's true when they say "love is blind."
"Err... I have to change," I grabbed my clothes, ready to enter the bathroom, but Hussain's words stopped me.
"I love you." 3 words. Simple. But strong. It was enough to make my heart go wild. I slowly walked up to him, our gazes meeting.
And without any hesitation I said it, "I love you too Hussain Asif." He smirked. His body collided into mine, and we crashed into the wall. Although it was a very rough, cold and uncomfortable we didn't care, his lips lingered onto mine. Forgetting the whole. Only getting lost in each other's eyes.
"Don't ever leave me," he whispered, I swallowed my nervousness, but nodded.
"I won't, I promise," I vowed.
We let go, catching out breaths. "Princess when are we have kids?" I rolled my eyes.
"Hopefully when you grow up," I replied, "I've got go get changed and then go down." However, Hussain pulled me back towards him again.
"5 more minutes," he begged, I raised my eyebrows.
"Really?" I questioned him.
"On second thought, you may go," he gave me consent to leave, I changed and got ready to go down.

So now guys.... Tell me... The truth of Shanu has finally come out, instead of doing something evil, she has bought to lovers close or closer. She was actually a big help...
So... Did you guys think she was evil or good at the start?
If you thought she'd be evil, and take Hussain away, then always remember don't judge a book by its cover. That's what Afira did, she judged Shanayah... And now she regrets it, so here's a lesson for all of us to learn. Never judge someone, first know what's cooking in their heads.
So... Last chapter will be up soon, InshaAllah, hope you liked this chapter...
So... Alvida!
