Chapter 29
Salam! Hey guys! I'm back with another short update. Wednesdays I have French GCSE... Just thought I'd let you know... So... I was thinking of changing my username because of reasons... I'm getting attacked my Bengali people! Help! Not that I have problems with them... I means I'm Bengali myself, but their just so odd. So a Bengali guy would just message me, asking all different time of information bout me, like why? Are you trying to stalk me? So I get really rude... Sorry but he was creepy, and I block him. Then his so-called-wife tries to attack me! Like are you serious? She's on a bitch mode, but who said I'm any better, the only words she knows are: Fuck, bitch, bastard, how, slut, P****. I had the P word so I used the stars... Like your vocabulary are good but who haven't seen nothing yet, mine are better, So I just wrote her long paragraph saying what a low life she has, if she's such a nice wife she should keep her husband in control, his going on Wattpad as if it's match.com or Shaadi.com. Like babe, it's Wattpad where you read books and chill. Anyways... To the point, do you guys have any Usernames would like to suggest to me? It'll be very helpful and I'd be very grateful. If not, then it's fine! :) Besides, I don't like the idea of changing my name... Just for people to stop attaking me... :/
Anyways... Enjoy this chapter, vote comment and share!!! Thank you! xx

"If you have crazy friends, you have everything."
Afira's P.O.V
I hated dancing in front of a crowd, however Aaliyah personally asked me to dance, therefore I couldn't decline. I had a few compliments about my dancing, but one was very queer, Raazi's comment. I thought he was flirting with me, but I didn't mind, not that I was impressed or anything, only because I could see Hussain eavesdropping in our conversation. He was a few steps behind us, listening closely to the words coming out of our mouths. Was he jealous? Of course not idiot, do you think he'll be jealous for someone like you? Whatever. At the end of the mehendi ceremony Sana danced to Mehendi Hai Rachne Wali. A true classic.
A while later the ceremony had ended and we were all going home, I was in the car, in my thoughts when it got to me that in 48 hours Aaliyah would be leaving us. Just like Sana. I bit my lip to control the tears but it rolled out, I quickly wiped it so nobody would notice.
"Fee, are you crying?" Aaliyah nudged me.
"For you? Of-course not, silly." I denied.
"Yeah, yeah. When I'm gone you'll cry." Aaliyah folded her arms and sunk down into her seat.
"I'll miss you Ali." I hugged her side-wards.
"I'll miss you too Fee."
"And I always miss you guys." Sana said joining in the hug, Aaliyah kissed us on our cheeks.
"You're not like friends, but sisters." Aaquil commented us, while driving.
"We are sisters!" Three of us shouted together, Ibrahim and Aaquil covered their ear due to our loudness.
"Ladies, we don't want to get into a car accident so shh." We did as we were told.
The guys dropped us home within an hour, I got into my PJ's, ready to go to sleep because Aaliyah's Haldi is tomorrow.
The day came quicker than I thought, it was early, 8 am, a little too early. I had a bath and changed into my yellow saree with a long sleeved black blouse. Mom and I left the house to go to Aaliyah's house, Dad was going to Ibrahim's Haldi. It was only a few minutes walk before we. I knocked on their strong red door, Khala opened the door and greeted us, while I flew across to Aaliyah, "My poor baby, how are you?" I said, pretending to smooch her.
"Get off me, lunatic, you're ruining my saree." She barked, Aaliyah was wearing a simple yellow saree, as for Sana who was standing right besides her, saying absolutely nothing was wearing a white and yellow saree, a white blouse that went up to her elbow.
"Salam Sana, what's up?" I raised an eyebrow in curiosity.
"Oh, Salam Fee, I didn't see you there." Sana plastered a smile across her face.
"I see.. Khala when do I put all this yellow stuff all over your dear daughter?" I said, changing the subject, Aaliyah gulped, frightened of what mess I might make, I stuck my tongue out.
"Just in 10 minutes, when everyone has arrived," I nodded and gave a evil look to Aaliyah.
"Afira, don't be mean." My mother scowled.
"Yeah... Don't be mean." Now it was her who was sticking her tongue out like a dog.
10 minutes passed and one by one everyone put a little bit of haldi on to Aaliyah, my turn came, I rubbed my hands as I went towards Aaliyah, "Khala, how much do I have to put on her?"
"As much as you like," I laughed. I got a handful of haldi and wiped it all over Aaliyah's arms, I scooped up another handful but this time I rubbed it all over her face making her scream.
"Fee, meri maa... No more, I look like a alien!" Aaliyah whined.
"Acha baba, I'm done." I got up but then a mucky hand pulled me back down, it was obviously Aaliyah's hand. With both her hands Aaliyah spooned out the haldi smothering it all over my clean face, I giggled and begged her to let me go, but she didn't listen. I cried out for help but no one helped me but only laughed at my state.
"I'm sorry! I'm sorry! You win!" I said in between my laughs.
"Good." Aaliyah got up and wiped her hands on a towel, leaving a content smile behind. I now probably look like a monster that's escaped from Monster Inc, who's trying to find their way back home.
After the Haldi rasam Aaliyah went to take a bath while the rest of us went back home to change, or even take a shower. I went home and cleaned myself up, I searched for my clothes but it was nowhere to be seen! I searched my wardrobe, my draws even under my bed, but I couldn't find it... Catastrophe! I've lost my clothes! At least I have my jewellery, I opened my wardrobe to see my jewellery have gone missing too! I felt like someone had slapped me with their shoes! How could I be this irresponsible?! Only one thing left to do... "Ammi!" I shouted, she came rushing into my room.
"You clothes and jewelries are in my room, I thought they'd be safe there." She replied to my question, which I hadn't even asked, I kissed her on her cheek and ran off to change into my dazzling clothes.
I got out of Ammi's room and I saw my mom's eyes twinkle, "I can't wait to see you get married, it's always been a mother's dream to see their child get married," I smiled and kissed her forehead. "Did I mention you look beautiful?" She asked.
"Don't I always?" She slapped my back, I was wearing a pink saree/lengha, it was net, the blouse was gold, full of design and the sleeves went up to my elbows. It had a U- neck shape, so I couldn't wear a necklace. I decided to wear some pink and gold bangles, along with earling and a head piece, I put my hair into a bun and was ready to go.
We (My parents and I) took a cab to the hall, since my car was at the garage for repairs. Once I arrived at the hall I directly went to the bride's room finding Aaliyah putting the pink duppata on her head. I hugged her from the back, a few tears escaped my eyes but I didn't bother wiping them. "Fee... I- Don't want to go..." She whispered.
"Well you have to, what choice do you have? I'll come visit you on your Walima, which is precisely tomorrow." I gave a her a smile. Just then Khala, Aaliyah's mom came in with a loud sob.
"Ammu?"
"Don't worry... I was just... Crying... Happy to see my daughter's going to have a loving family." She said in between her sobs, Aaliyah got up and sprinted towards her and gave a tight cuddle.
"I'll miss you Ammu." Aaliyah sighed, a tear was about to drop from her water line when I caught it.
"Don't. Save them." She rolled her eyes but followed my instructions.
The Molvi Shab came and bonded the two couples together, along with their families, they were now husband and wife. That one word: Qubool, bonded them together. A blue net separated the men and women, however I could still see Hussain staring, I kept a straight face, I don't know why but everything he does annoys me, even him breathing would probably annoy me. The newly couple were taken down to eat together, everyone else tailed after them. During the meal there were conversations, music as well as people making duas and praying. I decided to go to the bride's room to pray, but first I had to do Wudu.
After doing Wudu I headed to offer 8 rak'ahs (Asr Prayer) to Allah, the Almighty. I made dua for Aaliyah, asking our Creator to give her a untroubled life with her new partner, giving them children that will make them proud, as well as keeping the world peaceful. Shortly, I came out from the room finding Raazi with a Dua book, truthfully I was shocked to see him reading Duas, I didn't expect that from him. Well, life is full of surprises. "Raazi?" He turned around, his eyes lit up as to see my presence.
"Salam Afira." He greeted warmly.
"WalayKumAsalm. You're reading? Did I disturb you?" I asked, worried.
"Of-course not, I just finished praying so I thought I'll read some Duas, but I've read them. How are you?" He inquired.
"Mixed emotions." I said simply, he made a 'o' shape with his mouth.
"I understand, your turns next.," he winked making me laugh.
"I know, I don't like any guys so far."
"What about me?" He said moving his eyebrows around in a weird way making me laugh more.
"Definitely not you." He touched his chest to show he was offended.
"That hurt." He muttered.
"Anyways, I have to go down." He nodded.
I quite like Raazi, his funny and he also prays, he has good parents. Could he be the one? I'll leave that up to Allah. "What were you doing up there, talking to Raazi?" I heard a familiar voice ask me. I turned round to see the demon.
"Salam to you too, and it doesn't concern you." I started to walk, I waited to hear a reply but there was none so I gladly kept walking.
