Ink's POV: I don't know how longs it's been and I don't even know if time is still turning at this point, but what I do know is that at this very moment, I was with Error, in the middle of all the broken construction, hugging him tightly. It doesn't seem like the most romantic setting ever to do this, to ever show affection for a loved one, but it was oddly comforting for me. The silence around us, the strong arms around my waist, the soft and gentle rubs given to my back and spine, the deep and soft voice that purred in my ear, it was calming to me. So calming that I would've feel asleep right then and there, at least if it wasn't for the weight that shifted beneath me. 

I opened my eyes halfway and stared up at the taller glitchy skeleton, my body still sat upon his lap. Error smiled down at me, obviously noticing my dazed and tired eyes. I felt his hand rise to my face and be placed on my cheek. I felt his thumb give small stokes to the side of my face. Though small, I leant into his touch gladly, purring in the slightest way. A chuckle escaped his mouth, my sudden cat-like sounds obviously amusing to him. It's hard to believe it was only moments ago we were enemies once more and it was all because of a simple gesture that neither of us planned. A simple gesture that broke Error's already fragile heart....Error

..Error..

"Error!" I yelped as the glitchy skeleton pushed me to the floor of the void and tickled me mercilessly. "E-Error no-Haha wait! I c-can't br- HehehA breathe!" I heard Error chuckle again, his hands continuing to run up and down my body to discover all the places I was most ticklish. It was only when I started wheezing he stopped, allowing me to topple on my stomach and catch my breath. "Why..." I gave a deep gasp of air."Why did you *pant* do that Error..." I asked turning to him weakly, tears at the corner of my eyes from laughing and wheezing so violently. He shrugged.

"You looked sad for some reason when I was petting you so I tickled you to make you feel better." he spoke as I huffed.

"'Better' is not the word I would use to describe what your act did to me..." He snickered. 

"Yet you're smiling.." he cooed gently, stroking my chin teasingly. I unintentionally gave a whine at his notion, heat spreading across my face.

"T-that's not the point..." I spoke already getting lost in his touch again. I leant on him as his hand moved from my chin to my forehead, Error himself leaning down and kissing the top gently. He smiled.

"Cute little Inkchu.." he cooed in my ear, tracing his hands along my back.

"Mm...you bet your ass I am..." I shot, him laughing at my sudden urge of sassiness and pulling me into a tighter hug. He turned my head so I was looking up at him again. He leant down and placed his lips on mine. I happily kissed back, wrapping my arms around his neck and moving closer. I felt Error release my chin and instead wrap both his arms around my small waist, him pulling me closer in turn. We didn't lead the kiss to anything more. It wasn't anything to show lust or force. It stayed simple, but it was full of passion and love, so much that tried to wash away the sadness that was felt before and replace it with companionship and belonging. The kiss said everything that needed to be said without actually saying it. It was perfect. Why? Because we were together.

I pulled back from the kiss, both of us panting in the slightest as we stared into each other's eyes. 

"I...I love you Error.." I said softly, slightly embarrassed. Error gave a warm smile, full of sympathy.

"I love you too Inky. From now until the day I dust, I won't hurt you ever again." he lovingly spoke pressing his forehead against mine.

"To you the same." I unlatched one of my hands from around his neck and unraveled my scarf a bit, keeping half of it on me and wrapping the other half around Error's neck. I smiled at him. "Till the string of death is cut, I'll never leave you. For love lasts a lifetime" I leaned in this time, kissing Error once more.

'And so does our truce.'

Anyway, it's sad to say, but this is the final chapter of "A Truce Old Friend". I don't really have anything else to go from here except for side ships, but eh. It isn't much. Still, to all of my supporters, to all of the poeple who read and stayed to the very end, thank you. You guys made this story really fun for me. You guys urged me to keep writing this story. You guys did awesome so pat yourselves on the back for that.

Though I'm not done here. My two other stories, "Turned Upside Down" and "A Change in Love", are also still up so I'll be trying to work on those. I'm also working on posting a newer, and hopefully more original, story soon enough so look forward to it.
