Your P.O.V.

I followed Toriel to the lonely house, we passed the tree. The tree looked like an old oak tree. And the house, looked cute from the outside, I wonder how it is from inside. Looking at that small, tidy house... I felt... more determined... -What's giving me this determination? I have been known for being lest determined person... well, new place, new feelings... - And... maybe a new home? But first, let's avenge my (bro/sis).

As I entered the house, I was greeted by a sweet and delicious smell, it smelled like cinnamon and something else... apples? I don't know. Toriel turned to face me with a warm smile in her face, she giggled a little.

Toriel's P.O.V.

I have been so lonely this years, now I have company once again. -Except for my joker friend- I giggled at the memories we had, (Y/N) seemed to notice. Well it's now for me to give her an appropriate space to stay. "I see you've already smelled that, do you enjoy the smell?" I waited patiently for her answer, she made a thoughtful expression before answering.

"Uh... Cinnamon?" She said shyly. "And... I don't know, like, apples? Or something like that?" A faint smile was drawn across her face. She had those bruises across her left cheek and eye, and... -Oh! How have I had forgotten! I haven't attended her injuries! - Now I have to answer her and then we'll get to that immediately.

"Almost my child, it is a cinnamon and butterscotch pie. It still too hot to eat though. Now come with me, I'll show you something" I took her hand carefully, trying to avoid hurting her even more, guiding her to the hallway at the right. We stopped at the first door, she looked confused, - oh, that wasn't expected- I smiled at her "It's a room of your own, I hope you like it!" I opened the door for her "Try to make yourself comfortable, I'll right back!" I leaved her, so she can settle and rest. She have been here less than two hours and is already injured, got lost, and received calls from someone that's not me, but that small, white dog that captured my phone! Oh my... I have to go and get something for her injuries.

Your P.O.V.

Toriel gave me a room? Oh well, it's a little dusty but it looks comfortable. I lied on the bed, for a while, my head still hurts a little, but it's just from the fall, nothing special. I heard something fall in the distance, too many things, like pots, I think, I don't know. I weakly got up and looked for the fallen objects, I went to the living room, nothing. The kitchen, nothing. The hallway, still nothing. Two more rooms were in the hallway, one with a sign and the other one -I think is Toriel's- at the corner. That last one was open, I entered and saw Toriel picking up some buckets and her chair. I got closer to help her, but she denied. "No, no, no... you should be resting, not cleaning up you silly! Now let me finish here and then we can eat the pie" She said taking me out of her room.

"Uh... okay then" -I'll wonder around- I looked around and saw a mirror on the side of Toriel's room, I took a look to myself. -Oh gosh- I looked like a mess, my hair, it looked all messy and tangled, it didn't matter I had it in a ponytail, it still looked awful. My left eye has a big and dark bruise, and my left cheek too -maybe I fall on them- . The cuts Flowey did with his vines were all over me. My clothes... torn. -I do really need to rest- I went to my new bedroom and lied again on the bed. I closed my eyes and drifted to sleep.

--------------------

"My child, please wake up" I heard a familiar voice, and some light pats on my right arm. I opened my eyes sleepily, and saw Toriel with her warm smile. "I know you are tired, but, please let me help you with your injuries" she carried some bandages, a bucket , cotton and alcohol. -That will hurt as hell- She took a small chair that was on the corner and sat in front of me.

"Uh... okay" I said with a smile and sited on the edge of the bed. She gently removed my awfully made badges, which, were made from the torn sleeves of my jacket, Toriel threw them in the bucket she brought. She looked surprised by my broken arm, she examined it for a while, gently touching the edges of the bone. I shivered at the pain.

"How... how did you do this" She asked, very concerned.

"I-I... uh... woke up with it when I got here" her expression changed. And turned to me.

"Oh, I see. I've thought As- Flowey have done this" She focused again on my arm and started to clean it up using the cotton and alcohol. I grunted a little, it was painful. "I'm sorry, did I push too hard?" She stopped a little and held my arm lightly.

"No, it's okay. It just the alcohol, it burns." I smiled at her, her expression told me she would stop if that happened again. "But, it's a good pain... isn't it?" She looked at me puzzled, but she got my point. And continued to clean up my wounds.

When she finished cleaning my arm, she had sadness in her eyes. "My c-child... I-I... I don't think I could put back the bone were it was... I would probably broke it even more, I'm sorry" She turned and grabbed some bandages. "I could just put this if you like" I nodded, then she started to put the bandages on my arm. She tightened them a little and started to clean up my leg.

Mu leg had a big and deep cut. Toriel examined it, she grabbed some pliers and took out some spikes from the cut. Retaining my grunts, I looked at the way she took each one of them, and the way she cleaned it up after that. Toriel did the same with the badges on my leg, tighten them up and continued with the rest of the cuts.

She took a lot of spikes, they were all over me. Then she treated them, including the ones on my face. When she finished, Toriel got everything inside the bucket and leaved.

I felt more relieved, now my wounds are clean and okay, and the only thing left is rest, and eat. Once again I lied on the bed, not knowing if I should sleep or not. I heard a knock on my door, Toriel had some clothes, a milkshake and a slice of pie. "I brought you this, it's just for you to feel more comfortable" she leaved them on the drawer next to the door and leaved again, this time she closed the door. I got up and looked at the clothes, there were some for sleeping and the other for the day. I put on the ones for sleeping, they were some gray sweatpants, and white T-shirt. I removed my boots and started to eat the pie. It tasted very good, a sweet, warm and delicious pie, of cinnamon and butterscotch. The milkshake, it was as good as the pie. A chocolate milkshake, and I think it had a bit of... caramel? -This is the most delicious and sweetest thing I've eaten in years! - I do really have a sweet tooth, my grandmother always bought me some candy, and she made some wonderful chocolate chip cookies.

I leaved some of the food on the drawer and looked around the room. Dusty toys on a box, an empty photo frame, a small closet and a lamp. -Just what I need- now I only have two questions. One, what's on the room with the sign of "room under renovations" ...? And two... how does Toriel gets groceries here in the ruins? That's weird.

-Okay I need to stop, I need to focus on getting out of here- I let out a yawn and rubbed my eyes "But first let's sleep... again" I finished up my food and drifted to sleep, for the second time today.

---------------------

I woke up, I think it was noon. I don't know... I changed my clothes to the ones Toriel gave me to be outside. A pair of skinny jeans, a gray, long sleeved shirt and a (F/C) jacket. I put on my black boots and went to the living room, Toriel was reading in her chair. She looked like a teacher with her glasses on, I neared her, and she turned at me and greeted me. "Good morning my child, did you sleep well?"

"Yes, thank you" I gave her a small smile.

"Is there anything you need?" She said closing her book and adjusting her glasses.

"Well... is there just one thing..." I said scratching my neck and looking at the wall. "How can I get out of the ruins?"

I returned to her.She looked surprised and hurt, "W-why?"

"I-I... would like to go home"

"B-but this IS your home now..."

"P-please?"

She took of her glasses and leaved them on her chair "I need to do something, please stay here" then she quickly leaved the living room. I tried to follow her, I didn't see her anywhere... -Where could she have go? - I heard some faraway steps on the stairs that lend to the, basement? Or whatever was down stairs. I ran and saw Toriel walking in a fast pace, I run up to her, but she was too quick for me.

I followed her until she got to a big door, she just stared at me with the corner of her eyes. "You want to leave so badly?" then she turned to the door "Hmph, you are just like the others... I don't think you could survive out there my child. Go upstairs now, I can take care of you here"

-She doesn't believe in me?? Just like my parents... yeah what a good care- "I'm strong enough to survive the monsters outside the ruins" I glared at her, and she turned a bit, frustrated? I felt determination taking over me. "I didn't get hurt with the monsters here in the ruins. Except for that flower... and I didn't hurt them either. I know I'm STRONG, I can SURVIVE. If I survived the fricking fall... I can survive this..." Toriel turned around and stared at my arm -that doesn't mean I can't! -

"If you really believe in yourself that much... prove to me..." She said calmly with the same frustrated expression. "Prove to me you are strong enough to survive" After she finished that last sentence the world turned black and white. Her and my souls appeared, her soul was a white heart... but it was turned backwards and... I think I saw a small tint of... deep blue in her soul? And mine... had the same black marks, but they looked darker and bigger... and the rest that was once white, now it's bright red. I tried to touch it, but my hand phased through it. I turned to see Toriel, she looked like if she was my mom telling me she was correct. "You don't even know what that is... do you really think you could survive outside the ruins?" She created a fire ball and looked at me "We'll see if you actually can..."
