SPAGHETTI
Princess Pattie Patootie McFuzz
Found the longest piece of spaghetti there ever was.
She found it down by San Diego Bay
And began to slurp it without delay.
She followed it up along the coast
Through beach parties and marshmallow roasts.
She slurped it all the way to L.A.
And kept on going to San Francisco Bay.
It wound around the Golden Gate,
Through redwood trees, across the state.
She zig-zagged all across the country,
From Salt Lake City to Montgomery,
Slurping her noodle, for goodness' sake,
Over the Ozarks, through the Great Lakes.
New York, Delaware, Minnesota,
Kentucky, Georgia, North Dakota,
Michigan, Texas, Oregon, Alaska,
Nevada, Kansas, Maine, Nebraska.
She slurped for years, until at last,
Across the sea she had to pass.
She slurped in Italy, Greece, and Spain,
Over the Alps and through Ukraine.
Europe, Asia, Africa,
Australia twice, Antarctica,
America North, America South,
She slurped it up into her mouth.
On July 16th, at a quarter to noon,
She followed the noodle up to the moon.
Through the Hubble telescope, you'd see
She slurped it 'round the galaxy.
She followed it down through time and space,
Across the Universe, from place to place,
Until, at last, the noodle did flow
Right down inside of a big black hole.
Inside the hole, she learned the great truth
That many believeth but nobody kneweth.
She met the Eternal Being, eye to eye—
The Great All-Knowing Pasta Chef in the Sky.
