LOST ASTRONAUT

Drifting alone through Outer Space,

Confined to this ship's narrow place,

That feels as fragile as a vase,

Hurtling on at a coward's pace,

Flying off course—lost without trace.

Wishing I was back in Earth's embrace,

Living life at a louder pace.

If I return, I vow to chase

My dreams without this doubter's face.

I'll live my life with a prouder grace,

If I ever get back from Outer Space.
