The little bird in its cage

Looked so lonely and sad,

So she climbed up inside

To try and make it feel glad.

She got inside just fine,

But now she's trapped in tight.

No way to get out—

Not a single person in sight.

What's next, she hasn't a clue,

And at only three years of age,

All she can do is scream

For help to get out of the cage.
