I walk into the office and see my secretary Becca talking to Billy, my parents best friend's eldest son.

Billy turns around and faces me. "Hey, Braelynn. What are you doing here?"

Looking at him I say. "That is none of your business. The question I have is what are you doing here? The last I heard you were terrifying the girls in Paris. Did you get bored and decided that the women in Los Angeles is more your kind of thing?"

He holds his hands up in front of him. "I'm not the type of guy you remember me being. I've grown up and I'm looking for my first ex wife. Do you want to be my wife?"

I laugh. "Good one, Billy. I personally feel sorry for the bimbo that will fall for that line. The answer is 'hell no' to being your future ex wife. Besides, I have a boyfriend and he won't be happy to see you flirting with me."

Billy walks towards me. His brown hair falls across his face, covering up how stunning blue eyes. "He doesn't have to find out about this. It can be our little secret."

I push him away. "I don't keep secrets from those I love."

"You don't have people that love you, Brae. They're all using you for your fortune."

I take a step forward and slap him across the face. "You're an asshole, Billy." I wave Security over. "I want him out of this office. Billy Randolf, isn't allowed access in here. If he shows up in this office again I want you to call the police."

His face turns red with anger. "You're not going to get away with this Braelynn. I'm going to make you regret ever crossing someone like me."

Angela, Billy's mother walks out of the office and she sees her son being escorted off the premises. "Let my son go." She yells at the security guy.

I shake my head. "You work for me not her. Now, get him out of my sight."

Angela turns her full attention to me. "What's the meaning of this? You can't just throw my son out of the office like that. He didn't do anything wrong."

Spinning towards her I say. "This is West Inc. It's my company and I have a say in who can come in here and who can't. You're son disrespected my family. The very people that trusted you with this company." I head in her direction of my office. "There's a meeting at 2pm that Greg and you need to attend."

She yells. "You can't just organise a meeting without Greg and I. We've been running this company since your parents were killed."

That's the second person that said something that's piqued my interest in knowing what happened to my family. Maybe, Bo is right and someone purposely set out to have my parents killed, so they could take my families company from right under our noses.

I walk into the office and see photos of my entire family. It looks like the office hasn't been touched since my parents were last here.

The room has been maintained by the cleaning crew, which I'm glad that they kept this room clean and dust free.

My office door opens and a guy enters the room wearing a janitorial outfit. "I'm sorry, miss. I didn't know anyone was in here. This office usually empty when I clean it."

"Please, shut the door. We need to talk."

He closes the door and walks over to the seat across from me. "Am I being fired for being in this office without permission?"

I ignore his question and ask one of my own. "Do you know who I am?"

He nods. "You're Braelynn West. The eldest daughter of Ed and Sue West. You're also the CEO of this company, but people have been talking about this place going under since you haven't been taking care of this place yourself."

"Do you feel that way?"

He sighs. "I did. Now, that you're here things are changing and I heard you kicked Billy out. That's the first step of gaining control of this company again."

"Thanks for being honest with me, Geoff. A lot of people don't want to be, as they know that I have the power to fire then if they say something that's not true. I supposed you've been here long enough to know what the Randolf's are up to?"

"Yes," he looks at the ground. "They're conspiring against you and making the board believe that you're unfit to take over the company."

That's interesting. The board will know differently after the meeting this afternoon."

"Anything else?"

"Yes," he stands up. "After your parents were killed I heard Mr Randolf on the phone to someone and he sounded pissed that you weren't in the car during the accident."

"Did you call the authorities?"

"No," he's quiet for a moment. "I just couldn't believe the words that came out of his mouth and I thought I was hearing things. The last couple of months I've heard Greg and Angela fighting about money. It's like they're bankrupt, but how is that possible?"

"They've been stealing from my parents for awhile before they died. I was told recently that there's money missing from some accounts and I know it's the Randolf's that's been taking it from the company. Is there anything else you've heard?"

"Yes, when you kicked Billy out of the office he said you were going to die the same way as your parents, but unlike them no one is going to identify you're body."

I think I'm going to be sick.

"Thanks, Geoff. I'm not going to take that threat lightly. You don't need to clean this room today. I'll see you tomorrow though." I dismiss him as I pull my phone out of my pocket and look for Bo's number on my phone.

The door closes to the office and I call Bo

Bo: Brae, are you alright?

Me: No, I'm not. I need to see you now.

Bo: Can you drive to my office?

Me: I don't think that's a good idea.

Bo: I'll send a car around. Can you give me access code to get into the garage? That's where I'll have my driver meet you.

Me: The code is 1900.

Bo: I'll give that to Frank. He'll be one to meet you in the garage in fifteen minutes.

Me: Thanks, Bo.

Bo: You're welcome. I have to get back to the meeting I'm in. It should be over by the time you get here.

Me: Bye,

Bo: I love you, Braelynn. Bye.

He hangs up before I can say the words back to him. I place my phone on the table in front of me.

Bo has a number of drivers and Frank is one of the best he has. He met Frank after he won a street race that was organised for a charity event that Bo hosted and since then the two have been tight.

You normally don't see Bo without Frank who hides in the background, but he's there when shit hits the fan. He's the one that protects Bo from anything dangerous.

It's a shame he wasn't around when Bo found me seven years earlier.
