Every night since my parents died I have had the same dream over and over. It's with my family leaving for the annual family trip and I change my mind about going, but it ends with me being dead instead of my family.

The dream makes me scream all the time and I keep wondering why I have the same dream.

It could be because I feel guilty that I want with them when they died or it could be that I need to talk to someone about my family.

I look at the nightstand and see the red digits on the clock next to my bed and it say 3:05 am. Climbing out of bed I walk to the bathroom and splash water on my face.

After having that dream I normally can't fall back to sleep, so I head to the living room and turn the lamp on. I read a book until my eyes become heavy and I fall asleep again.

When I wake up the next time I see a blue blanket draped over me and I know it was shining armour that put it on me.

After the attack shining armour took me to the hospital where he didn't leave my side. He took time off from work or he worked from my hospital room waiting for me to wake up. He was the first person I saw when I woke up.

He was happy to see, but I was confused about the strange man in my room until a nurse told me what happened and I started to remember why I was in the hospital to begin with.

When I was released from hospital I didn't go home as shining armour didn't want me to be alone, so he told me that I could live with him until I was back on my feet. That was seven years ago and I never went back to my life before Bo.

Bo walks into the living with a plate of blueberry pancakes and he places it on the table in front of me. "Good morning, beautiful." He leans down and his lips brushes against mine as he kisses me. He licks at my lips letting me know that he wants to enter mouth and I part my lips for him. His tongue touches mine and the kiss starts to get heated.

I pull away from him first and I try to catch my breath. "Thanks for breakfast, Bo."

A smile spreads across his face. "You're welcome. I have to go to the office. Will you be okay here until I get back?"

Looking at him I say. "Actually, I have made an appointment with a realtor today."

He moves to the sit across from mine. "Why?"

"West Inc has been a known brand in the retail industry for over a hundred years and it's still blooming. I thought that it would be great if I started a company with something that interests me."

"That's great. Who's taking over West Inc while you do something else?"

"I'll still be the CEO. My parents best friends will still be doing there job of running the company."

Bo looks at me. "Have you looked at the books that I placed in your office?"

"I had a brief look, but I couldn't understand half the stuff that was put in it."

Bo stands up. "Those people have been ripping your parents off for years and they've been doing the same thing to you. Have you ever thought about looking into the accident that killed your family."

"The police did there job. It was a guy that was on ice. He died at the scene." Crossing my arms I look at him. "Why do you think they're responsible for the accident?"

Bo pulls a folder out from under the coffee table. "I got their financial statement and at the time of your families death they were broke. As soon as they took over the company they paid off their debt and they were living the high life again by stealing from you."

I push my breakfast away from me not feeling hungry anymore. "What am I supposed to do, Bo? I don't know anyone that's willing to take over the company for me."

He points to himself. "I'll do it, Braelynn. I'm not going to run the company into the ground like them. I'll make sure that every cent is kept where it belongs and that you'll earn everything that a hundred year old company deserves. You'll have to call a board meeting for this afternoon. I know it will be an inconvenience to a lot of people, but they need to know what that family is doing to the company."

"Okay, Bo. You better get to your office and start your day at work. I'll make the phone calls and give you a call once it's done with the time of the meeting."

He kisses the top of my head. "I love you, Brae."

"Me too." I stand up and push him towards the door. I stand on the porch and wave him off.

Picking up my phone I start to call everyone on board and tell them that it's an emergency meeting that they need to attend at 2pm, today.

They told me they would be there.

I better call my secretary and tell her that she needs to organise the boardroom and buy some cakes and coffee for the meeting.

I put my phone to my ear and wait for her to answer the phone.

Becca: Hello, West Inc, this is Rebecca Cole.

Me: Becca, it's Braelynn. I need you to clean up the boardroom. Organise coffee, teas and cakes for the board meeting.

Becca: A board meeting isn't scheduled for today, Miss West.

Me: I organised an emergency one for today and I need you there as well, Becca.

Becca: Okay, Miss West.

Me: Bye.

I hang up the phone and then search through my phone for Bo. I call him.

Bo: Hey, Braelynn. What time is the meeting.

Me: Hey, Bo. Meeting starts at 2pm.

Bo: I have to cancel a few things at my office. Do you want me to swing by the house and pick you up?

Me: Yes, please.

After my families death, I haven't been able to sit behind the wheel of a car without freezing.

Bo: I'll see you at 12:30, we'll grab something to eat before the meeting.

Me: sounds great. Bye Bo.

Bo: Bye,

Bo has tried to get me back behind the wheel for years and once he saw the I reacted he knew that it wasn't the best idea to get me back behind the wheel.

The police showed me photos of the wreckage and they were surprised that Mom was still breathing after it.

Dad, my sister and brother all died at the scene and Mom died in the hospital three weeks later.

At first I thought she was going to pull through and come home to me, but the doctors told me that she could end up having brain damage and she won't be herself.

I was asked if I wanted to turn of the life support and I said yes.

Mom passed away three days after it was turned off.
