The Shadow

A shadow looms over the horizon,

Blocking all light from shining,

Creating fear where ever it goes.

Don't look away, for it might get you;

Eyes must be trained on it

For you must know where it is.

Getting away will be hard;

Hurry, you don't have much time.

I, for one, am hiding until all this is over.

Just find a way to escape;

Keep going,

Look for me.

Move along and don't get caught,

No stalling

Only those who move survive.
