IDEA: Prequel to The Trouble with Family

SYNOPSIS:

Callie hadn't had it easy growing up, but neither had Blake.

Blake had been estranged from his father since something in their lives created a rift.

Callie had been living in a family where her needs came last.

Callie was stressed, two days before Uni starts and her lifeline dies with a flickering screen. Blake stumbles upon her with horror as she tries to bring her computer back to life with a little bit of violence. Desperate and intoxicated by his charming smile, Callie hands her prized possession to this stranger with a promise.

He bundled up my laptop and charger, a slight pattering of my heart kept my mind foggy as I did something I'd never normally do, 'If you can somehow fix that thing without it costing me anything,' I took a deep breath allowing the fog to lift slightly as I barrelled into something I'd be telling people about for a long time, I gave a promise I really hoped I could keep, 'I'll owe you a drink or something.'

He lips quirked up into a charming smile that reached his eyes and for a second I was stunned. If he ran away with my laptop and I never saw him again, I'd remember him by his smile.

*Further Description - This would go further into their lives before they met each other. Callie's issues with her family, and everything that happened with Blake's brother, father, and how he got to where he is in The Trouble With Family. During this story you will also get to read aboout how their relationship started, and their life in Leakron. It will alternate between Callie and Blake's points of views.
