Daeum

Hyungwon once again vented out his feelings to me. I feel sorry for him. His situation made me think, if only he waited and if only I was the one, probably I could love him better than Riana could?

I love Hyungwon. But seeing him cry over Riana, breaks my heart even more. I remember my place once again. I'm just his buddy turned secretary. I see how much he cares for her more than he would for me.

"Daeum-ah, are you still listening?" He called.

"Ne? Oh.. ne sir." I said.

He closed his eyes and let out a deep sigh.

After minutes of looking at him, he didn't budge at all. What? Is he suddenly going to sleep now instead? I guess I'd leave him be.

Suddenly, I felt my phone ring.

"Hello?" I answer quietly.

"Hello? Umm.. this is a waiter from the XXX bar. Apparently, our customer named Lee Minhyuk got drunk and fell asleep here, we have to close but he wouldn't budge. He gave me his phone and absent-mindedly told me to dial a Daeum's number. Is this her?"

"Ne! Right. Im Lee Daeum. What trouble did Minhyuk cause again?" I cursed under my breath.

"Ne?"

"Nothing. Ill come and pick him up in awhile. Kamsahamnida!" I hang up and immediately moved.

"Huh--" I gasped.

Before I could stand and walk away, Hyungwon has grabbed my hand and held me back.

I looked back to check on him and there I saw him still closing his eyes. So, I slowly then took away his grip from me but as fast as lighting, he gripped me again.

"Don't go..." He softly said.

"Mwo?" I asked.

He calmly opened his eyes and glanced at me.

"Are you going to see Minhyuk again? Please don't go and leave me here. Daeum-ah I need you." He spoke.

My heart suddenly started to beat wildly. No, he's making me go crazy again. I want my feelings to stop.

"M-Minhyuk. H-he.. He needs me too." I stuttered but took my hand away and rushed out of my bedroom just to get out of Hyungwon's sight.

I drove to the bar and reached the place when it was 12am already. Good grief, thanks alot Lee Minhyuk. Things I do for you.

I entered and saw the waiter on the floor which breathed a sigh of relief upon seeing me.

"Eotteokhae? What's wrong?" I asked.

"He's there. He suddenly threw chairs and punched me when I ordered him to go out." He explained.

Goodness.

I ran away and there I saw him drowsy, and I was just in time because he almost fell down to sleep again but I caught him.

"Ack! Yah! Lee Minhyuk!"

"Mhmm... Lee Daeum? Dawum-ahhh... I mwiss youuu.." He spoke.

"Aish! You stink! How many bottles did you even drink?!" I asked.

"Oh? Ahahaha.. 'bout fwive o shix.. haha.. Dawum-ahhh." He said showing me the number with his fingers which was actually wrong.

"Just shut up, I'll take you home to your condo." I said.

I walked and good thing, the waiter helped me carry Minhyuk.

"I'm so sorry, you had to go under this trouble because of my friend here--"

"Bwoyfrwiend.. Dawum-ah I'm your bwoyfriend and you er mine..." He interrupted.

"Yah! Shut up!" I scolded, obviously irritated by him.

"Ahahahaha... arasseo arasseo." He smiled like a fool and gave me an 'okay' sign.

"Anyways, Ill make sure, my friend will pay you once he's sober. Just take it as a debt for awhile. I promise you, we'll pay and wont get away with this." I assured the waiter.

"Ne, annyeong! Jeongmal gomawoyo!" I said and brought us both into my car to drive away.

I finally arrived at his condo, I searched for his pockets and found keys.  With trial and error, I finally was able to open the door and bring him inside.

"We're here!" I dropped him on his bed as he whined.

Suddenly, he took his shirt off.

"Y-Yahh! Lee Minhyuk! Hajima! I-Im still here! Yah!" I call out but he didn't care.

Suddenly, he pulled me so I fell beside him in his bed.

"Ahhhhh!! Andwae!!" I screamed.

I closed my eyes thinking Minhyuk would harm me but I realized, he just wanted to cuddle and keep his bare body warm.

But now's not the time for me to be cuddling with him. Why are there things he just can't get over with? Like me, not loving him anymore.

I laid down frozen and still when all of a sudden I heard him start to whisper.

"I miss you.. I miss you.. I miss you..." He said over and over again as I felt the sadness and broken feeling in his voice.

Suddenly, warm tears got out from his eyes as he silently cried while embracing me tightly beside him.

"If this is a dream, I don't want to wake up." He cried as his voice cracked.

I wanted to say something but I chose to listen.

"I'm sorry I was a jerk. A flirt, chickboy, party boy, playboy. But without you, I realized I was nothing." He softly cried while managing to speak those words to me.

I looked at him. His crying face glowing despite the darkness in the room. Suddenly, he opened his eyes and saw me.

"Huh!" I gasped but held another scream in.

I continued to eye him and saw him slowly move his head towards me.

Eotteokhae!

He aimed for my lips and gave me a kiss.

It was just a peck type of kiss. He moved his head away, loosened his embrace on me and slept the night away.

After minutes of staying still, I took his hand away, covered him with a blanket and went out of his condo.

Hyungwon

I couldn't sleep. Thinking that Daeum still chose Minhyuk over me reminded me of the time I saw her answer him as they got into their relationship.

It still breaks my heart whenever I think of them. Especially just awhile ago. I know I shouldn't care but I can't dictate over myself.

It's okay as long as I don't fall for her, I guess?

Suddenly, the door clicked open as I saw an absent-minded Daeum walk inside.

I stood up from my chair.

"Daeum-ah!" I immediately rushed infront of her.

She seemed to be thinking of something and I can see her put her hand on her lips while feeling it.

"What's wrong?" I asked.

"Something..." She started.

I don't want to be right with what I'm thinking but I stare down at her as I see her feeling her lips.

"Something happened between you and Minhyuk? Did he... kiss you?" I predicted. It's obvious and it's what I could read.

"Yeah.... he.. kissed me." She said.

I was about to rage but I clenched my fists and reminded myself. I kept calm and smiled.

"Well, that's what normal couples do right? So.. nothing wrong--" I sang.

"Hyungwon-ah." She cut me off.

"Ne?"

"The thing is... Minhyuk and I aren't a couple anymore." She said.

"Mwo?!" My eyes widened, I was surprised.

"All this time I was single." She admitted.

"Daeum-ah... no way."

"We've actually broken up months ago."
