Daeum

I looked around for Riana. Hyungwon has passed me a message to her and so I came by to her office.

"Ms. Riana-ssi..." I knocked and called then I went inside.

"D-Daeum.. w-what is it?" She stuttered.

"Umm.. Mr. Chae wants you to go attend his meeting instead. He said we have somewhere important to go to." I said.

"Okay. Meeting with whom?" She asked.

"As much as I know... the Lee family.. the one with the wine and drinks business. They will confirm this partnership today but Mr. Chae can't attend so he trusts you for his place, instead."

"Alright I'll be there. Thanks." She said and so I walked out.

Hyungwon

I just assigned Riana for my place. Is this alright?

"Aaaaaahh!" I whined, this was the first time I'm lying towards business meetings.

I wanted to cut and skip it today, but honestly, I don't have any special things to attend.

I wanted to spend time with Daeum..

Wait what? Did I just think of Daeum? Oh no, why!

I don't want Daeum to see Minhyuk...

No! Stop your thoughts Chae Hyungwon!

"Urghhh!!" I blurted out, stressed.

"Sir?"

Suddenly, my attention was converted.

"O-oh.. U-uhh.. Daeum-ah!!" I smiled seeing her.

"I did it already. Now, shall we go to our meeting?" She asked.

"Okay..." I said.

"Sir.. where are we heading to?" She asked.

We were both in the car as I was driving.

"Umm.. drop your formalities first." I said.

"Won-ssi, where?"

"No. Not that."

"Oh umm... Won-ah--"

"No, the other one! Aishh.."

A moment of silence filled up the atmosphere as she knew.

"Hyungwon-ah."

She finally spoke.

Finally.

It was like music to my ears hearing her call my name like that of how she used to.

"Ne?"

"Hyungwon oppa, where are you taking us?" She asked.

Shit. Now it's my time to answer her.

"Daeum-ah."

"Mwo?"

"There's no meeting." I admitted.

Her eyes widened as her hands were placed on her mouth immediately.

"Heol!" she exclaimed.

"What's all this then?!" She asked.

"I am cutting working hours." I admitted again.

Her expression suddenly changed.

"YAAAAAA!!!" She got mad and spanked me.

"Ow!! Im driving, hey!"

"Stupid guy!!"

Riana

I proceeded to the meeting and found everyone, so I shook their hands one by one.

"Good morning. Hello." I would say.

Suddenly, I came to one guy who was probably the same age as I am. He faced sidewards as my hand was kept on a wait for his.

"Excuse me?" I said.

Slowly, he heard and turned to face me.

"No way..." I uttered. My eyes widened as I finally found him again.

"Hanbin..?" I uttered.

He gave me a weak smile and shook my hand.

"Nice to meet you, Riana. Nice to meet you, again."

He moved past me as he left me in shock.

"Why?" It was all I could say.

"Ms. he's the right-hand of Mr. Lee Minhyuk and so he was sent here for his place." someone answered.

Hanbin... my ex-boyfriend. Like Daeum for Hyungwon, Hanbin was of same value to me.

I don't know if this was on purpose or it was fated. I dont know anymore.

We never had a closure in our relationship. Is he coming to haunt me again?

Daeum

"Pabo-ya.." I called out to Hyungwon.

He covered his ears and closed his eyes.

"Nope. That's not the name I want to hear." He said.

"Hyungwon-ah baegopaaa! Get me something to eat." I pleaded.

"Hungry again? Okay fine let's go drive to a restaurant." He said.

We drove and went in a restaurant that serves homecooked meals. We ordered alot for each other and made ourselves comfy.

"Do you like this place?" I asked.

"Yes. But I am liking it much better now." He said.

"Why?" I asked.

"Because I'm here with you."

What.

"Ohhhh!! real smooth!" He dabbed, then patted his shoulder proudly for that cheesy line.

He was looking like a dabbing dork already and so I took the spoon infront of me.

"Hyungwon-ah!"

"Ye-- Ow!!"

"Hahahahahaha!"

I hit his head with the spoon and proceeded off to laugh on my own while he rubbed the spot where it hurt.

"Look at you. Happy? I'm treating you here while I'm your boss and you hit me? That's a deduction from your salary."

"What if I reveal you're skipping work? That's a minus too." I comebacked.

"Fine!!" He said in defeat.

Our orders came and so we proceeded to eat on. I don't know but I was eating alot. I had a great appetite right now.

Suddenly, I felt my lower abdomen hurt a bit.

I kept eating but it was uncomfortable.

"Hyungwon-ah. Please excuse me, I'm going to the restroom." I said and stood up.

"Heol! Wait! Daeum-ah!" He said.

"Yes?" I asked.

"R-red stain.. You're bleeding." He said.

"Mwo?" I looked at my back.

"Aish." So my time of the month came.

"Don't worry. I got this." I said to Hyungwon and went over to the restroom, entering a cubicle.

I was feeling frustrated that it came. Good thing I had extra napkins and... shorts?

Sigh.. who wears shorts to work? But better safe than sorry right? I took what I had and changed into it.

I came back to Hyungwon and saw him on his phone.

"Why did you stop eating?" I asked.

"I'm full. So you have your perio--"

"Shhhh! I know." I cut him off.

"And you're wearing shorts now? Hmm..kay, now finish off that food." He said.

I was about to go back to eating.

"Hyungwon-ah?" I called.

"Yup?"

"On second thought, I'm suddenly full."

Riana

I finished the meeting and so I hurried to leave the place.

"Wait, Riana can we talk?" Hanbin grabbed my hand.

"Let me go." I said.

"Riana. Give me 3 minutes." He said.

"One."

"No. Three. Riana, I just want to say I'm happy I've found you again."

"So?"

"I realized my feelings for really haven't changed. You probably feel the same way too, right? Don't you miss me? I'm at a great status now, I'm working at a company."

"I can see that."

His expression suddenly went down as my heart felt the same way too.

"Riana. I love you. Don't tell me, you have someone else new now." He said.

"I do. It's Chae Won. Now leave me alone." I bluntly said avoiding my arising feelings for him.

I was about to walk away when he held me back and pulled me into a hug.

"Hanbin-ah.." I said.

He let go.

"I'm sorry..." He said and went off leaving me flustered.

Hyungwon

It was evening, the end of the day when Riana came home.

"Jagi." I went to greet and kiss her.

She looked down.

"What's wrong?" I asked.

"Won-ah. Remember why were engaged in the first place? Our parents both have same company fields and we were going out that time. They put us together for joint business purposes because we still would end up with each other in the end."

"Yeah? And so?" I asked.

"Our parents don't care much. I... Won-ah can we stop and break up?" She asked.

"Mwo? Break up? But why? What's wrong?" I asked alarmed.

"Nothing is. I dont know, but I'm feeling kinda off in our relationship already." She said and walked away.

"Riana!"

What's happening? I dont understand.
