Daeum

I go back to the company. Particularly, Won's office. It's awkward but he's not Hyungwon anymore but Mr. Chae Won.

I just go in and I saw him distracting himself by reading I dont know what. I felt him look at me but I didn't bother and just went to give him his schedule.

"You have no meeting today, sir but all of them are scheduled the next days." I report.

"I see." He answered.

I look down as I try to avoid his gaze. Suddenly, he cleared his throat to ask me a question.

"Was that... Minhyuk?" He asked.

I looked at him surprised. He actually saw that?

"Ne?"

"Um.. You're still dating til now am I right?" He asked again.

"Ne?" I answer in a question again.

"Oh.. haha. Don't need to be shy about it. Your relationship with hyung must still be going strong then. At least now, I have my Riana." He laughed, I didn't find it funny.

"Oh um... Ill call Riana instead, please excuse me Daeum-ah." He awkwardly said as I gave a weak nod.

"Jagi.. im free, wanna go out?"

"Mwo? Wae?"

"Aishhh.. can you look at this. Tsk."

"Arasseo."

"Aishhh!" He whined all of a sudden.

"Riana can't come with me today." He complained.

"Oh... ne.. Umm.. sir, can I go now?" I asked.

"Wait, wait. Where?" He asked.

"Umm.. anywhere? Cafeteria I guess?" I say.

"No no, I wanna go home. You come with me." He suddenly ordered.

"Yah! What are we going to do there! I dont want to, I'm hungry!" I suddenly opposed.

"What?" He asked on the verge of cracking up.

My answer was so weird.

"I don't know..." I rolled my eyes.

"I'm tired. I'll drop everything for today. Please come home with me so you can manage things for me while I have my rest." He said while I sigh deeply.

"Ahhhhh... I'm home." Hyungwon did a spin and directly dragged me to his big bedroom.

"Wahh..." I secretly am amazed to myself because his bedroom was so fancy, modern and wide.

I went to a table and sat on the chair in front of his bed as I watch him throw his coat to the floor and slowly strip.

"Y-Yah--" I try to stop him.

"Oh. Dont worry, I was just going to take off my coat and necktie." He playfully shot me a smug face then threw himself on the bed.

Hyungwon

I decided to take Daeum home with me. Not because she was my secretary... she didn't have to do this in fact. I just wanted to spend time with her, as my old friend.

I missed her and the feeling when I'm with her. I wanted to remember that feeling once again, if it didn't change between us despite that time we spent away.

"Yah! Daeum-ah get my phone and answer the call for me." I order, still on the bed.

"Ne!"

"Oh, Daeum-ah another call on my telephone go get it ppalli!" I order again.

"Ne?! Arasseo!"

She was running around while I enjoy the sight of her multitasking.

"Hello, yes sir. Yes.. Oh alright it will get to him.. Oh okay, what was that again?" I can hear her say.

She's so cute, trying to do a great job.

I didn't notice it but I was smiling like a fool while my eyes kept track of her around the room.

"Okay okay. Bye." She turned around and looked at me. I immediately stopped myself from smiling and straightened up.

"Good job. I'll go get some food to eat." I said.

I went down to prepare cookies and milk as I thought of her. I can't believe I'm with Daeum again in my house. Feels good to be reunited with a good friend.

I look at the milk I have.

"Chocolate?" I laughed.

I spaced out remembering the time she threw chocolate milk at me in school.

"Haha.." I let out a small laugh as I shook my head.

I immeadiately took the tray with our food then turned around swiflty to bring it to her.

"Hey what are you-- aaaAAAHHH!"

"aaaaAAAHHH!!"

I fell down flat on the floor and saw my stained shirt, spills, and cookies everywhere. I looked up and saw Daeum infront of me with her hands on her mouth showing disbelief.

"Aiiiiishhh.." I whined.

"Omg I'm so sorry. I didn't mean to, I just wanted to check on you. My gosh, chocolate milk? Again? With cookies?" She panicked guiltily.

I lay on the floor steady and still as I look at her.

"Mwo?" She asked.

I smiled.

"Aigooo Daeum-ssi." I surrendered.

Daeum

"Until now I must be so unlucky with chocolate milk right?" I said.

"Seems like that to me." Hyungwon chuckled.

We both cleaned up together and now, we are eating burgers together with juice instead.

"Ahh... my body hurts. Please massage me later. Arasseo, secretary?" He winked.

"Pshhhh.. shut up." I roll my eyes.

"Mwoya.. what was that again? Who's the boss here? I think you forgot." Hyungwon taunted.

"Stop being abusive." I said.

"Okay okay. I was just joking but seriously please do me favors! For your boss and good friend please? Good?" He offered.

"Whatever." I answer.

"I'll take that as a yes." He smiled.

We went back to eating silently. He had the tv on as he watched and we were infront of it on the couch.

Suddenly, a thought hit my mind.

"Won-ssi.." I called.

"Ne, Lee Daeum-ssi?" He answered.

"Perhaps... have you received any letter?" I asked.

"Letter? What do you mean?"

"Any mail?" I asked again.

"Wait. I don't get what you're about. Tell me, is it a business letter?" He asked.

"... No.."

"Oh. Perhaps, a love letter?" He asked again.

"What if... it's like that?" I said.

"Oh well... I think I haven't. But if I'd do, I don't have time to entertain that. Im done, Riana is all I need. If ever I'd do, I would probably forget and throw it in the trash can." He answered bluntly leaving me dumbfounded.

Its like I then sucked up all the energy and feelings I have for him.

"Why?" He asked.

"Nevermind. It's nothing actually." I lied.

Suddenly, the door of his house clicked open.

"I'm home Wo--"

We turned around and there we saw Riana.

"Oh... Daeum-ssi? Won, why is she..." She was at loss for words seeing us on the couch together.

"Jagiya. It's nothing. She's here because she's my secretary obviously." Hyungwon came up to brush off Riana's thoughts.

"Alright... Umm.. Daeum, when will you like.. go?" Riana asked.

Seems like she's uncomfortable and wants me to leave.

"Now." I alertly took my things and rushed.

"Wait!" Hyungwon tried to call me.

"Bye, sir and mam. I'm sorry!" by instinct, I just flew away.

Why is life like this?
