Daeum

I went home that day with a heavy heart. I saw Hyungwon but this time, one of the worst things I didn't want to wish for is seeing him come back with another girl.

What about his confession to me? Haven't he received my mail yet?

Wait. I have no right. There was never an us.

"There's Hyungwon, Daeum-ah. The guy you wasted years ago." I said to myself.

Ugh. Whatever happens, I'm never turning back from this job. I couldn't let it affect me.

I opened the door of my car and rode it as I made my way again to work.

Riana

"Won-ah, when are you gonna finish?" I bugged Won once again.

"You can go around the building. I have to focus, babe." He replied.

"Aaaahh.. arasseo. Aish, treat me to a cafe later okay?" I made a deal, smirking.

He paused and looked up at me as I suddenly raised my eyebrows up and down to make him agree with me.

"Okay fine." He lazily said in defeat.

"Okay! Bye bye, I have to go now." I waved to him as I quickly rushed to the door.

I looked around the company as I went on walking to give myself a tour. Won and his family, sure are progressive now. I'm happy I'm engaged to a man who's beauty and brains.

Yup, beauty and brains. I couldn't deny he's far more prettier than I am and that's why his girl character cosplays whenever he tries to be a dork and mess around never fail to cheer me up and turn me "gay" for him.

Haha.. what a playful relationship we have.

"Chae Ri Ana?" An office worker called me.

"Oh? Ne?" I responded.

"Mrs. Chae, can you please bring this to the secretaries' workplace please?" he requested.

"Ne.. You don't have to call me Chae. I'm just Won's fiance yet." I shyly corrected.

"Oh is that so? Ahh.. You look so good together, I thought you were married already." He complimented.

"Pshhhhh.. Soon!" I grinned and we both laughed.

"Thank you, have a great day Ms. Riana!" He bowed.

"Yes sir, my pleasure." I bowed back.

I got ready and went back walking to carry these papers and files I have in my hand.

As I walked around, I hummed a song to myself.

"Oh, here!" I finally found the place.

"Excuse me, where do I put these?" I politely smiled to the worker I found.

"Oh..."

Daeum

I heard a knock and the door flew open.

"Excuse me, where do I put these?" A voice said, startling me.

"Oh..." I saw her familiar face.

"Riana jagi..." Hyungwon's words echoed in my head.

"Umm.. if you don't mind, Ill place these on top of this machine." She smiled.

"Oh... ne, Mrs. Chae." I addressed her.

"Chae? Why is everyone calling me that? Im just Won's fiance though.." She giggled.

"Oh alright my bad." I took it back.

"It's fine. But maybe people should start knowing about us already? So they wouldn't mistake me for being his wife." She laughed.

Geez why is she saying this all infront of me?

Thoughts flooded my mind as I felt slightly envious of her and "Won".

"Really? Umm.. so I wonder why too.. What was your story with Hyu--, I mean Mr. Chae Won?" I asked out of curiosity to know about them.

She smiled and took a breath.

"Well, we met in Europe." She started.

Europe? I thought he went to the U.S?

"I was walking and touring around churches and museums when I suddenly found him. It was the 20 yr. old self of Won." She giggled.

"He was taking pictures. At first glance I admit, he was handsome, but then he suddenly bumped into me which I really didn't notice. Then, he held me and asked if I was okay. In Korean. There, I knew he was Korean like me too. I found a new friend, someone who can keep me company." She recalled.

"Why was he there?" I asked.

"We got closer when we kept meeting at the same playground. I remember him and me keeping distance as we admire the place but one day, finally, he spoke up. 'Pssst.. You. Come in here and sit.' He called out to me as he patted the seat beside him in that big swing with two chairs facing each other."

"He told me he was heartbroken. He was once in love. I was there for him to share his pain with while he took a rest in Europe. Then that's how we suddenly had feelings for each other and got together. It was really magical and Won made me happier eversince. I also notice him cheering up since then." She said.

Hyungwon was hurt? Could it possibly be because of me and Minhyuk?

The door suddenly flew open once again and we heard a voice call out as that person came closer.

"Jagiya~"

"Oh? You're finally done?" Riana asked.

"Mmmm.... yup!" He replied.

Hyungwon. It was Hyungwon. They were having a sweet moment infront of me but he hasn't noticed me yet.

"What's your name?" Riana asked me suddenly.

I looked at her and glanced at Hyungwon, and there I saw him look up to see me.

"Oh. I didn't notice you were here." Hyungwon cutely apologized.

My heart started beating faster. I didn't know what to answer to them! Doesn't he realize who I am yet? What do I say??

"You both wanna go to the cafe?" Hyungwon cut me off even before I was about to speak.

"Yeah! Let's bring her. I think she's been working hard." Riana invited me.

"Oh okay sure. Let's go, Ill drive." Hyungwon put his arm around Riana's shoulder and they started leaving.

Chae Hyungwon, should I be happy you really didn't know it's me, Daeum? Or should I be not?
