Daeum

Today was a special day because we have a mini special show in school which was prepared by the music department in the faculty and of course everyone expected Monsta X's performance.

Even I couldn't help but anticipate it as well. Apparently, Wonho dyed his hair blonde now, Minhyuk bleached his, Jooheon and Kihyun had a lighter orange-y color.

"Where are Monsta X?" I asked Sara.

"They took early lunch. They're now changing and preparing themselves for the show later." Sara answered.

"Oh okay. Let's go eat."

Sara and I ate together alone but we still knew how to have fun together by ourselves.

"Daeum-ah, I think Wonho is starting to show signs that he likes me as well." She told me.

"Jinjja?"

"I've been feeling it alot and I've been researching and researching about this kind of topic and it really matches!" She said.

"Haha, yes I also do think so."

"You do?!" She got surprised.

"Of course. I watch the both of you and you have that slight lovey-dovey feel towards each other." I smiled.

"I knooow... but it's best to keep my guard first right? I might be mistaken."

"That's true."

"Ya, how about you. I think Minhyuk likes you." She said.

"Mwo? M-Minhyuk?" I stuttered.

"Yes! That boy is so obvious. Are you that numb?" She said.

"A-ani... it's just that I'm denying it. I want it to be just friendship between the two of us. I-I dont feel anything for him..." I explained.

"Why? It's Minhyuk! You're so lucky to have that guy. Take the chance. You might learn to have feelings for him."

I couldn't seem to agree with her. I wanna push this topic out. I didn't like it. As we talked about me and my feelings, Hyungwon's image keeps popping up my head.

Hyungwon was all I could see and Im not sure but I can't tell my feelings right now.

"Do you like another guy?" She suddenly asked.

"...No!"

"Okay fine.. You know what, I'm going to make a condition. The guy I would have our first date with on the first day of snow is the one for me." She smiled.

"Hmm.. me? I would have two conditions. It's easy if it's one, I want to make sure." I challenged.

"Okay, what's yours?" Sara smiled.

"The guy who'd steal my first kiss is the one for me." I said.

"Woah!" Sara laughed.

"Next.. The guy who'd I'd be together with when I'm stuck in the middle of a rainy day, then he's the one." I said my second condition.

"Ooohh..." Sara slowly gave me nods as we smile at each other.

"Everybody please settle down." The teacher announced.

All of us students were already seated down as we wait for the start of the show.

"Ya! Let's go backstage." Sara told me.

"Mwo? But the show is about--"

"Ani, let's just go see Monsta X. Gwaenchanha." She insisted.

"Oh.... arasseo." I couldn't say no to her.

We slowly sneaked out of our seats and headed together backstage to where Monsta X was.

"Ppalli, come. This way." She held my hand.

We finally reached the backstage as we avoided teachers. There, we saw Monsta X in their stage outfits.

"Sara? W-why are you still here?" Wonho saw us both approaching them.

"It's so hot and boring there." Sara complained.

"Arasseo." Wonho put out his arm around Sara pulling her closer.

"Annyeong Daeum-ah." Kihyun waved to me.

"Annyeong." I wave back.

The truth is I was amazed at how good they look and how extravagant their outfits were. I was still looking at all of them when I heard I.M

"Hyung!" Changkyun called so I turned my head to look at who he was calling.

There I saw Hyungwon coming towards us.

My jaw slowly dropped.

His v-neck was going down low exposing his sexy bare chest.

He was lightly sweating and so I couldn't help but focus my eyes on him.

Oh my gosh....

"Done checking me out?" He suddenly said.

I looked up to see his face and I realized that I had my eyes stuck on his chest all along. I regretted it so much, I was burning with shame as I saw him smirk.

It made me feel like a pervert!

"Ani. What are you even wearing?" I straightened up and spoke well.

"Ya, Wonho, Shownu! Wahh.. your... your.. arms.. b-biceps.. Wahh!"

"Kihyun, n-neo! Is that your chest?! Wait? Do I see makeup? Is that contour? Ha!"

"Changkyun button up, y-you have a fat belly... Hyungwon, Minhyuk... your chests.. don't you have cloths underneath?"

"Geez... are you all short on cloth? What are you even wearing?"

I criticized them all because I didn't want to admit I just literally had my jaw drop on Hyungwon.

"Geez.. what's your problem?" Jooheon suddenly spoke amidst the awkward silence.

"But we still look good right? Admit it. Even you couldn't help but check us out." Minhyuk said to me.

He slowly approached me and stood infront of me.

Suddenly, he leaned closer making our faces only a few inches apart!

"Eottae? How do I look today? Please praise me." He smirked.

"No way..." I said in a small voice as I pushed Minhyuk away.

"Ya, you hear that? Daeum, let's go back. It's starting." Sara told me.

"Okay--"

I spoke but Minhyuk suddenly embraced me into a tight hug.

"Be my goodluck charm." He said and later on released me.

"Gomawo." He smiled at patted my head.

Geez, what's up with Minhyuk today?

"Come let's go." Sara took my hand and dragged us both out backstage.

"Monsta X!!"

Our MC finally called out Monsta X. I was so awaiting it deep inside.

All the screams of other students were deafening. It seemed like it was a Monsta X show and not the one prepared by the music department because everyone only cared about their stage.

"What song will they sing?" I asked.

"They will cover TVXQ's Mirotic." Sara said.

The others started to chant and cheer but I was silent. I shut myself up to be immersed in their performance.

"Oh damn.." I suddenly muttered.

It was really wonderful talent flowing out from their group. I was mesmerized by their stage and I'm not gonna deny it.

"So this is Monsta X..." I said.

"Hot right?" Sara sighed, fanning herself.

I never knew they could perform THIS good! I saw another side of them today. I couldn't help but smile seeing them up there. I was really proud.

"Wahh!! Good job!" Sara dragged me again backstage so we could greet them after their stage.

"You enjoyed it?" Wonho asked us.

"Yes!!" Sara exclaimed while I smiled and gave a nod.

"Apparently, Daeum my goodluck charm here.... worked well." Minhyuk came beside me and put his arm around.

"Mwohaneun geoya? (What do you think you're doing?)" I brushed Minhyuk's arm off me.

We all took a seat at the benches backstage first because they were still tired.

I sat down and saw Hyungwon who was wiping off sweat with a towel, approaching the space beside me.

"How was I earlier?" He suddenly asked me.

"You did good." I smiled as I praised him.

He raised his hand and we high fived each other.

I suddenly got smaller beside him. My heart was beating wildly like a heart attack. I don't understand why but I'm suddenly more intimidated by Hyungwon.

He's the one and only popular cold flower boy in school. Plus, he came from a well off family. He's also very good looking and talented. I don't know but I suddenly got this weird feeling in me after seeing him today.

"Ah eotteokhae..?" I whined.

"Hm?" He leaned closer to me.

"No. Uhh.. Nothing hehe I was just thinking." I said.

He didn't reply to me but he turned his head and stood up.

Ah.. why am I such a mess? What did I say? Ah eotteokhae Chae Hyungwon.

I got butterflies in my stomache.

"Wonho-ya, we're going back. The show's not over so we have to." I heard Sara.

"Jamkkan. We have an idea." Jooheon called all our attentions.

"Mwo?" Shownu asked.

"Let's go to the club! Let's hang out! Sara, Daeum-ssi, go with us." Minhyuk announced.

"Oh sure."

"Yes!"

"Count me in!"

I heard all of them agreeing. I'm not really familiar with the club. I don't know how to drink or party so I was quite worried.

I didn't know if I could blend in with these people here who usually find it a norm.

"Guys.. umm.. the truth is. I don't know...?" I spoke.

"Wae? You're not used to clubbing are you?" Changkyun said.

"How do you know?" I was sursprised.

"We could tell." He laughed.

"Geokjeongma. (Don't worry) We have Hyungwon here. He could accompany you." Wonho said.

"Huh? Me? But why?" Hyungwon said.

"He's not really into clubbing as well. He just tags along. He's a good boy so don't worry, he'll protect you." Wonho explained.

"Oh yeah." Hyungwon got it.

I looked at Hyungwon and he was looking at me too.

"Let's bring some ladies." Kihyun suddenly winked at the boys and they were all cheering up to that.

"The club's actually not that bad.
Hang out with me instead, Ill teach you--" Minhyuk started.

"Ya! Ya! Ya! Hajima, you're a player. Leave Daeum alone to good boy here." Wonho cut him off.

"Kaja, let's change." Jooheon said as they one by one left.

I stood up and before Minhyuk entered the changing room, he went over to me and gave me a kiss!

"Wha-what..." My eyes widened as I froze.

I looked at him because I was shocked he suddenly kissed me on my cheek but I could only see him smile brightly.

"Bye." He smirked.

Oh my gosh.
