-Woodbury: ChapterThree
____
"You having fun?" Blake offered, allowing her gun to click as she's cleaned it and another two to her side. She was just hearing the loud taunts and cries of pain that Merle conflicted with Glenn.
The man from the Atlanta camp.
"Gotta admit, kid's got balls." She handed back the freshly cleaned gun and he took it without hesitation. It was her turn to be up now.
"Ya up now girlie...Scare her, get ya a lil wilded up." She smiled, knowing and had already planned what to get through. It was well into the night now.
But either of the Dixon and Holden duo are used to long nights. "Daryl's alive, same as Addie. Saw it in his eyes. But he ain't tellin'." The women growled, and the hostility in the air hurried along.
"That walker plan...That I gave you shit for?" He nodded a single time, but smirked when he realized he's being allowed to do it.
"Wait for my cue." She issued, and he agreed. With that in mind, Blake had entered in the room right beside Glenn's. Seeing the women in question, Maggie. She's been breathing so heavily considering she's been listening in so carefully to what's is happening on the other side of the wall.
But flinched when her eyes finally landed to Blake.
The agent seemingly took the metal chair and faced it on around as he legs parted and she on it backwards. Tilting her head. "So you're the girlfriend huh...What twenty, twenty-two?" She started, taunting as she tried to already get into the mind of the eldest of the Greene family.
"But a relationship during all this?...Did it happen during or before?" Maggie couldn't understand what was happening, her mind was more worried on to what was happening over on Glenn's side.
"Merle's not in there...And he'll stay away, only if you just answer my questions." She nodded, and quickly responded 'during' making Blake fake a smile. "How cute...young love."
"What do you want?" The women suddenly was able to get the boost of confidence. Making Blake grin in satisfaction. "I just wanna know the basics, where you're from...Where your base is...Who's in your group." The questions made Maggie struggle, gulping ever so seriously as it pointed out.
"Look, I don't do the hurting...I'm just the first level of talking, but one call and the beatin' to your boyfriend are gonna start again." The calculating look that Maggie had done was between both Blake and the wall.
"Merle's lookin' for his brother...Daryl. I'm lookin' for someone too. Alright?" The defense on Blake's shoulders dropped as she tried to be as honest and caring as possible. "You got kids hun?" I asked, and she shook her head.
"Lemme you ask you something, if you had a kid? Would you do anything for them?" She nodded once again, but flinched the moment Blake had gotten up from her seat to drag it closer to Maggie.
"That Dixon in your group ain't the only one we're lookin' for. I want her back. I want Addie back." She deemed, but anger stripped through her ever so severely as there was no sympathy or compassion in Maggie's eyes. Only fear. Making Blake huff in anger as she pulled the walkie from her waist up to her mouth. "Yo Merle."
"Yep?"
"It's go time." She ordered, and the laughter was followed from the hallway to the screeching sound of Glenn's door opening once more.
The walker's growl seemingly echoed, making Maggie jolt back and forth in her restraints. "Please! Don't do this!"
"I gave you chances hun, you just wouldn't talk." The sympathy was gone, especially when she admitted to look for Addie.
"Where are they? Where's Daryl and where's Addie?" Blake was giving her more than enough chances but the given fact that she wasn't giving anything up, even with her significant other screaming for mercy and banging against the wall. Maggie remained silent.
"Fine." She spit, marching out of the room only to run into the Governor. "Went to plan C it seems...What about the girl."
"Won't budge sir," The Govenor hasn't seen many emotions on his agent, and yet...Here was the first one that made him curious.
"We'll get them. Addie and Daryl. Don't you worry...I'm gonna talk to her." She nodded, but stopped midway to see him walk in entirely. Until the given kick of a chair had pulled her attention away.
Not in a fear moment, but she simply began walking towards Merle. "What's up?"
"He killed the fuckin' walker." Her mouth dropped down, impressed more or less did her eyes look to the panting Dixon as he wanted to get the Dixon's back together. Run off.
The man had a plan to get his family out of the surrounding area entirely. Yet here he is, without a location to the two remaining members.
"Fuckin' heartless women in there, told her I'm Addie's mother and she damn near stayed silent." She spit, with that. Merle was more in a rage than before as his front teeth shown. Trigger Blake.
"Don't do that. Don't ever do that." Making the Dixon's face fall suddenly flat as she whimpered such a plea.
Whatever he had done, reminded her of Daryl. It happens time to time but the vulnerability was already shown from the way she held herself. Has been awhile since he's seen this.
"Come on hun, why don't ya get somethin' to drink...It's 'bout nine." He issued, and she agreed. Going to the small area that held a fridge, grabbing a beer as she knew she needed it.
Taking a given guzzle down did she shut her eyes as she felt so angry. So heated that Addie is just about a given reach away and she can't get to her. Chugging down the rest of the content did she throw the bottle against the wall and glide her body down the wall in torment.
It was the rush of men that came in that almost dropped their given weapons as they're witnessing the girl who never cracked...Having a breakdown.
"All y'all get the fuck out, now!" Merle yelled, bending down beside Blake as he knew something issued another trigger. Three in the given day.
"He's gonna get the info, just ya wait. We'll see 'em soon." She nodded inside his chest, and the given radio in allowed them both to rise up to their feet and hurry along to follow the Governor.
"What's—" Barely in a moments notice did their boss storm back into the room with Maggie. Grabbing her by the arm only for her to struggle with her decency. Making Blake instantly regret leaving her with him.
The look in her eyes of complete terror.
Blake's tear ran down her face in a heartfelt moment as she knew the pain, the fear. For she too was subjected to that form of torchere.
And yet, Holden was the first into the room with Glenn.
He looked far worse for wear than his girlfriend, and seeing us...He lowered his makeshift weapon. but the second he saw her... Blake chuckled as she crossed her arms over her chest as she looked back to Maggie in offering. Only that enraged him even further.
The second nature on the agent's behalf turn as her pistol soon aimed perfectly to Maggie and cocked back the trigger without even batting an eye. "Nonono." She sang, the haunting taunt echoed. Neither one of them seemingly mention a hint or clue.
And the governor was getting furious as well.
"We're through with games...Now one of you is gonna give up your camp." The tension drew, and yet here either of them were. Willing to risk everything so that the people at the prison could survive a good while longer.
The cock back of the Governor's personal pistol went from Maggie, until he seemingly found an idea in pointing it straight through to Glenn's head.
"The prison." Maggie had cracked, and while she had pushed herself forward...Blake shot her attention towards her. Smiling ever so brightly. "The one near Nunez?" She questioned, and she agreed.
"That place is overrun."
"We took it...11." She answered the question of a number count and that made Blake's blood run cold. That sounds like less of a number than Merle described.
"11 people cleared that whole prison of bitters." The boss in the room dictated, but the smirk just continued to rise.
"Sir...I worked at the prison. Think I can draw a map of the layout from memory." She beamed, only making either one of the survivors buckle at the knees.
Merle was scary, the governor was brutal. But Blake...Blake was a reckless amount of danger because they don't know what she is capable of.
As the guns retreated for the moment, did Philip continue back towards Maggie. Already conveying the exact though that Blake theorized in what he had done to her. His hand brushed down her bare skin. Trying to soothe her with a hug even.
"Sir." Blake growled, and he let her go in the instant with a push to her boyfriend. And he instantly took her, although Blake was the only one left she flinched as another solid tear fell out.
Glenn was thankful the women had stopped it. But not in any dept to her at all.
"What the hell did you do to her?!" Blake had barked to her boss. And he too was taken back by it.
"We got the answer we needed. Didn't we?" She licked her front row of her teeth as his hand extend to soothe her as well.
But the glance turned sharply into a glare as he too fell silent to the approach. "I want that map of the prison ASAP." She nodded, but it was a quick thing of memory as she continued to go off towards his apartment. Followed by the long line of men.
"...That's deep in the red zone. There's no way only 10—" Milton explained, and Blake sighed as she tried to pinout which area they've built to themselves. Notes as well, anything that could be of use.
"So she's lying?" Black shook her head, rising to her feet. "I don't think she is. Didn't you see the man's face." She simply stated. Capping her pen did she come around from the desk and come closer to the situation.
"If she's lying about numbers, that means a pretty sizable force has moved into our backyard. But if she's not, this group with your brother and daughter at its core has done something you told me couldn't be done." Merle held against any sort of emotion to be shown. But Blake perked her lips in protest.
"My daughter has been shooting since she's been five. Daryl no doubt the same too. Both of them, plus Rick. I told you I've known Rick a while. He's smart, no doubt about that." She cleared up, but then issued that the map is going to take a night to remember. And the governor nodded off at that.
"Your brother might be out there right now, searching for them. Blood is blood, right? Makes me wonder where your loyalties lie...The both of you." Blake gave no indication of any sort of emotion, she's been trained and put through her own personal sort of hell that even the governor couldn't admit to Maggie with.
"With you." She was quick to deem, straightening her back and blinking without any hesitation. She has plenty to hide, but her daughter is number one.
"You two get a small group and scout this prison. I want to know exactly what we're dealing with. Blake I want that on my desk tomorrow." Nodding at the order did the two extra set of men be the first to exit the apartment. Only for Blake and Merle to retreat to their own.
"Ya gonna tell me what got over ya?" Merle asked, shutting the door and double locking it as he motioned to the whiskey. Blake offered up the glass, for the first time since she's been here.
"I was raped...The scar on my arm...My back...My brother tried to stop him." She chugged the second shot offered to her, allowing it to burn her throat. Merle stood in shock.
"Hun I thought—Thought ya were just attacked." She hummed, squeezing her eyes so deeply.
"H-he assaulted her! There isn't order here anymore." The hiss of her voice began to rise, and Merle was quick to try and hush her.
"And you think there's order at the prison huh?" There was no proper response to the question, but her loyalty to Rick and to her daughter were high. So she pushed forward the paper.
"I can't give this to him...Daryl and Addie are gonna fight for them not us." With that she pushed her chair back and allowed it to screech. The go-bag soon made it's way onto her bed.
"Gonna talk to 'em, aight ya—ya make up ya mind hun." They separated for ten minutes in the making and yet they were issued to take Glenn and Maggie to the screaming pit. The given walk is long as well so the bag didn't look at tall conspicuous.
Answers Blake gave was, ammo, jacket. Shovels and a snack. The red zone is moving closer and the Governor doesn't want anyone to leave without a pack.
She lied left and right, this wasn't anything more than that.
"He said he ain't gonna touch 'em. Either one of 'em."
"I don't trust him to keep that promise Merle. My gut is—" She didn't need to finish the sentence because Merle made it a red flag as he stopped her midsection in the hallway.
"Yo, get 'em ready for transport." The two henchmen followed the lieutenants order as they went towards the door.
"I just want to see her, it's been a year Merle. A year. Fuck Daryl but I'll deal with him too." She gritted her teeth to speak to him in a hushed manner, but the battle cry made them both tense in preparation.
Seeing Glenn gladiator the first two, either one of them was more less occupied. And the given blast of gunfire sparked as Merle blacked her.
Glenn had attacked Merle in the instant while Maggie tried to take on Blake. "Oh honey..." She teased, a quick few blasts of her elbow did she overpower Maggie to the floor and hold a gun to her head.
"Give. Up." Blake warned, and Glenn soon fell flat on his ass. Only to be ordered to get on either of their knees to be bagged.
Blake couldn't look to when either of them spoke 'I love yous'. So she made another set of henchmen take them to go car.
And what a blessing that was, Blake was dragged out of the building in the second by Merle. The smoke bombs were smart. "That's them, they're from the prison!" She exactly beamed, but Merle still dragged her to the given back alley. "And their not askin' any questions, ya hear that? That's shootin'. Aight, so anythin' happens. We got to our point aight?" She nodded at the backup plan they've forged since her coming to Woodbury and they parted ways.
"Gunfire to the north, orders?" She questioned, and there was a long list of responses to what she could be doing.
