Back to your situation...

You were weak and not strong as you were before. But with the help of Poppy and her friends, you were able to simply walk around the area you were in. You do your best to recover despite the danger that was waiting around your safe little zone.

You were also lucky to have Derpy. That little guy would distract you too much. He was telling a bunch of stories from the notebooks. You replied to them with some little words you would write back. That little touch made him go wild happy as he ran around and accidentally hit every wall his face met up with.

You can't help but silently be amused at his goofy act. It reminded you of Huggy a bit. You wish he was there to see that. To know that you were fine and safe. You can't help but worry for him and his siblings. You even keep asking Poppy if in a way some toys could go in an inspection around to see if they could find anything. But all the time the doll would always refuse to do this simple request you ask. Instead she just brushes you away so she could keep speaking to some toys in private.

This made you confused and suspicious over her behavior more. She sure was hiding something from you. But what could it be?

With Derpy at your side you both would just be in a separate room from the other toys. Even if Candy cat or Cat bee would come to simply check if you were alright before going back out.

Since you can't really do much more than being entertained by your adopted goofy child...

You decided to make your own plan until you get better. Even though you have no notion of time passing fast or slow around here. Since the stuff you had in your bag was only a flashlight and a mostly destroyed phone. You can't do much with that stuff. Plus you weren't allowed to explore around. With this headache that was hurting you so much each hour that was passing.

When you feel exhaustion took you over, you get some weird dream. They were similar to old memories you have never seen before.

One especially made you aware you were not who you are right now.

The kind person everyone in the factory would ignore and use has a tool to help them work higher.

With that set in mind. You keep seeing this flashback...

"Hold them still!"

"We are trying sir!"

"They're getting away! Quick sedate them!"

You closed your eyes and held your head in pain.

"Be careful.... We do not know what they put in you.."

"I-I... Please tell me this is a nightmare!"

"Ssh.... Y/n focus.. Don't let this get to you."

You grunted silently as you were holding your head tightly. This pain was hurting you too much. Random flashbacks were rushing in your brain. Like a bomb that has been messed up too much and just exploded.

Hearing tones of voices from people that were familiar to you and new as well.

Derpy noticed from his drawing time how pained you looked. The silence ruckus you were making, was making him concerned. Because now that he sees you has someone very close to his family. He tried to comfort you like he could. The only way he knew was to give hugs or rub his cheeks over your own to give comfort and that everything was alright.

You only responded to him with a whimper and tears falling down your face. You don't understand what was going on to you. But you were glad Derpy was here to help you focus less on this monstrous pain.

"You have to flee this place... Never come back. Promise me that."

"I promise if you promise me to do that as well! I can't do that without you... You know that?"

"Ah, yes... I always forgot you are quite stubborn.. And very childish too."

"H-Hey! I'm not childish!"

"Then why do I always find you hugging a pile of Huggies plush when there is no one around watching you?"

"... Touché"

Strangely that male voice was soothing you. It's like after this small chaos, something has come to help you stop it.

You realize that you used to have a voice. You were very talkative it seems. Joyful for sure but also cocky and childish with whoever that conversation you had in the past.

But also.... It seems this was a mask to what you truly were doing in the factory.

You saw what you have done.

The children you had helped to lure into a room and watched those experiments happen from your very own eyes.

You can't believe you used to be a bad person. One that would help kill innocent kids and used their organs and transport them in a toy body like it was the missing ingredients to a puzzle.

You felt yourself wanting to puke at this horrifying sight.

You understand now why the toys were not looking at you with joy but with an uncomfortable and almost scared glaze.

You open your eyes wide open suddenly.

Huggy was not looking at you like that. He was the only one having a mask over his face to play so goofy and friendly to you. Does he know who you were at the factory? Because you do know you were part of this innovation at the factory. Working with a twisted scientist, a woman that wanted to be a child again and even with the director of this operation. Leith Pierre That man seemed to be the one that pulled the strings. You were worse than all of them though. You were heartless, cold blood and very silent when left alone.

You blinked and felt the soft texture rubbing at your cheeks. You blink again and look down to see Derpy. His eyes showed how worried he was for you. You had been too silent and had not made any gestures at him that would confirm that you were fine now.

You smiled a little and patted the top of his head gently. He seems to like that and purr at the physical contact. At least now the pain you felt was gone.

Thanks to that last voice that was able to help you focus more on the present with Derpy at your side.

You wrap your arms around Derpy in an embrace as you stand up. He seems to chirp in joy and wrap his arms automatically around you to respond to the hug.

You rubbed his back and walked out of the resting room. You glanced around you to see if Poppy and her friends were still chatting. Only for you to see no one else. Seems like they had gone somewhere else in the playcare.

You let out a relieved sigh. Knowing that you are not you anymore, because of the betrayal of your coworkers from the innovation teams. You were not stupid to know they have tried to experiment on adults after the success of using children to improve their toys. Some employees were even giving their life away when they realized they were doomed by the sickness they had.

You decided to wander the place. Despite having a limp while walking because of that fall you had from the train accident. You equip yourself with your trustworthy flashlight and you hold Derpy closer to you in a protective way. As if you were the barrier to protect him from any danger.

You silently wander out of the safe zone. The early silent and cold atmosphere made you aware that this area gives you more creeps.

Derpy tightly stayed in your arms as he was quite afraid of being out there. He was, after all, running away from something dangerous before he had crashed into the playcare safe area. He doesn't seem to care for his legs almost touching the ground. Being in your secure embrace gave him some sense of security and comfort.

"It's going to be alright." You would try to sign to him as you would give them reassurance with a soft smile. The gray fluff baby smiled and made a chirp noise in confidence as his derpy pupil would roll around.

You chuckle lightly as you focus your attention on the dark corridor. You know it is going to be risky. You were in no good shape to run away from another giant toy. Well if you really are going to see one.

Your instinct to survive has been kicked since you got chased by Huggy and even after he told you he was only playing.

You sigh as you take this opportunity to not be watched by Poppy to proceed this long journey of founding a potential exit to this place. Yet, you have the feelings you can't really leave behind the one that has been kind enough to you.

Your mind was splitting in two. Since you had recovered the memory of the usual you before that brainwash...

One part wanted to leave and never tried to come back from this place ever. To find a way to block the exit once found, so no creatures that were made could escape.

The other part....

Wanted you to go find Huggy and his siblings. You knew deep inside yourself they would be somewhere around. Not far from the area you were kept in.

Derby curiously watches your face expression that keeps changing during that time you were in your thoughts. He found it amusing that he let out another chirp. Which made you look at him with a tenderness of a Mother/Father would give to their child.

Thanks to Derpy chirp's, it has a reason for you to make a choice without hesitating. You have a mission set in mind.

"Together... We will find them."
