Author's POV: 

"Woah... the moon is so pretty!" Mina spoke as you smiled, nodding. The moon was shining brightly making you all mesmerized. In the open area beside the dark forest, you all set up a camping site with a camping van where you'd be sleeping. You 3 were sitting on the chairs while staring at the moon. 
"The fire is warm.." Yuri spoke as you giggled saying, "Indeed." 
"See? This experience is better than what I expected." Mina said. You nodded and said, "But aren't we going inside the forest?" 

"Well... right! We should." Yuri spoke as Mina asked, "But when?" 
"How about now?" You asked as they both looked at you asking, "Y/N, weren't you against us?!" 
"Well, she is even scarier than us... she was just quiet all along, don't you know that?" Mina asked Yuri who sighed, nodding. 
"Right.. who can underestimate this undercover adventurer?" Yuri asked. You just giggled hearing their remarks and said, "Let's go!" 

--Time skip 

"The forest looks pretty dark... should we go in?" Mina asked as you 3 were standing in front of the trees and the dark forest. You just took your torch and said, "We should check out the haunted treehouse." 
"What if some ghost sees us? Like.. Voldemort!" Yuri's remark made you look at her with a frown as Mina shook her head saying, "No. We can see some other creatures like a wolf though. Be realistic, Yuri!" Yuri just thinned her lips as you sighed, chuckling. 

You 3 entered the forest with the torch. Even though you all had a torch, the forest was actually sightable due to the moonlight. You stopped walking as you spotted a huge tree, it looked very old. You looked around, feeling nostalgic for some reason. 
"I've never come here before.." You mumbled as Mina spoke, "How would you? This area is so not famous!" 
"Right... it shouldn't be either," Yuri said, looking around. 
"Are you scared, Yuri?" Mina asked as she shook her head saying, "This area is just weird." 
"Y/N?" Yuri asked as they both saw you touching the tree while looking at it with soft eyes. 

"You okay?" Mina asked. You just gulped and said, "Y-Yeah... these all just look very familiar, I don't know why. Ah, let's walk further." 
"The treehouse should be in the middle." Mina and Yuri said as you nodded saying, "Let's go." 

As you three were walking, suddenly, Mina screamed making you both flinch in fear. You both looked at her wide-eyed as Yuri quickly asked, "W-What's wrong?!"
"I saw something run that way!" She said as you frowned saying, "R-Run? I... it might be a random insect..?" 
"I don't think so.." Mina said, gulping in fear as you sighed saying, "Ah.. let's go for now! Let's go... we can't back away now."

You were walking and walking, looking here and there but after some time, you stopped not hearing any noise from behind. 
"Why are you both so quiet? Are you sca-" You were talking but stopped as soon as you looked behind to see no one? Your eyes widened a little as you walked towards the empty area, looking here and there.
"Where are they?!" You asked yourself, gasping. Your heartbeats raised in fear as you gulped, looking here and there calling their names. 

"Ah... the phone." You spoke quickly taking out your phone but your eyes widened as you saw that there was no network.
"My bad for searching for the network in the middle of the forest." You said and sighed wondering, "What if they reached the place before me? I should check..." 

Some time passed by as you were now near a pond. 
"Is this the middle? There's no treehouse.." You said to yourself and walked closer to the area as you noticed a figure sitting there.
"Mina? Yuri?!" You asked, running towards the large rock where you saw the figure sitting. As you walked closer, you realized that the figure was not Mina or Yuri. Gulping, you backed away a little, praying for your life as you spoke, "W-Who... are y-you?" 

The figure turned around, smiling as your eyes widened seeing the familiar face. It was him, your neighbour. 
"Y-You..?" You muttered under your breath, completely shocked. You rubbed your eyes and pinched yourself a little to check if you were dreaming or not but gulped as you realized... you were not. 
He walked closer to you as you looked at him wide-eyed, backing away until your back hit a tree.
"I'm... Kim Taehyung." He said with a smile and looked right into your eyes as you stared at him, shocked. 

No words left your mouth as you stared at him. But his name made a strange feeling arise in you. You've heard that name before... but where? You didn't know.
"Y-You.." You gasped for air as he asked, "You don't remember me, do you?" 
"Did I scare you? I'm sorry..." He said softly, holding your cheeks as you backed away more, making him sigh. 
"W-Who are you? W-Why are you.." You were confused as he said, "You know it all... don't you?" 
"W-What are you.." You stopped talking as he leaned in closer to your face, closing his eyes. 

A moment later, he opened his eyes as you gasped. His bright red eyes staring right into yours... you recognized those eyes instantly. They were those bright red eyes you saw that night, the deep voice, it was him. 

"W-Who are you..?" You asked, tears brimming in your eyes as you stared into his eyes. His eyes were captivating you as he backed away saying, "I'm someone who is nothing without you, Ha Y/N.."
"I'm the one you've given your heart to in your previous life. You see them every day... our memories." He said as you shook your head saying, "N-No..." 
"Your dreams... it's us." He said as you replied, "What are you saying? It's ridiculous.." 
"It's not, love. It's our love which brought you back... to me. Don't you remember it at all?" He asked, his eyes softening as you gulped staring at him. His words somehow reached your heart but you weren't sure if you were going to give in to his words so easily.

"I..." 
"It'll all make sense, love. Remember, when you realize everything and connect the dots, you can come back to me. I will always... be here, waiting for you."  

Familiar. His words were so familiar, you've heard them before. You were sure. He walked closer to you and stared right into your eyes, again. But this time, you stared back instead of backing away. You stared into his eyes as he said, "Do you see it?"
"See... w-what?" You asked as he spoke, "Our love." 

With his words, you felt hypnotized. You were staring into his deep eyes, which pulled you in. Flashbacks came rushing into your mind as you forgot everything except for what you saw.

--The year 1213

"I- I am Ha Y/N.." You said smiling staring at his sparkling brown eyes which looked so surreal as he looked at you, more like exploring your face. He noticed your sparkly eyes and guessed you might've been crying.
"Thank y-you for helping me. It was no need though." He said as you smiled before replying, "I have been quarantined for the past few days and needed refreshment. Thanks to you, I even got to help someone." You said smiling as he nodded.

"Safe." Taehyung mumbled still hugging you as you looked down while a red tint covered your cheeks.
"Y-you can let go now." You said as he quickly backed away.
"S-sorry." He said shyly as you smiled.
"How come they didn't see us?" You mumbled but he just smiled a little looking away.
"We were invisible." He said as you looked at him confused.
"How? Are you a magician?" You asked as he chuckled.
"No.. I- I...know spells." He hesitantly said. Although it felt suspicious, you decided to shrug it off.

"What are you doing?" You heard a voice, the most melodious and pleasant voice in your life to be exact. You looked back to see Taehyung smiling while his hands behind his back gained some of your curiosity. A lot of your curiosity to be precise.
"Nothing... Just sitting. What is behind you?" You asked as he chuckled.
"Your eyes are keener than I expected." He said as you giggled.
"They are!" You said joking as he came forward before handing you some lilacs making you look at them lovingly.

"TaeTae!" You spoke waving at him as he smiled saying, "You should stop coming to me every day. You should do something at home too."
"Why? You don't like me coming here?" You asked as he said, "Of course not. But, it's just that, when I'll be gone for almost 2 weeks, you have to stay home."
"That's why I should come even more frequently!" You said giggling as he sighed before chuckling.
"I brought something for you." You said smiling as he looked at you confused. You took out a bracelet as he looked at it with admiration.
"It's pretty, right?" You asked as he nodded. You giggled feeling proud, remembering how you picked this yesterday in the shop.

You came out of your trance as your eyes stared into his. What did you see all along? Was all of that a piece of memory? Or a hallucination? You had no idea. 
"You...."
