Author's POV:

"How are you still awake? I was gone for 3 hours." Taehyung sighed as you smiled saying, "It's fine. I said I'd wait."
His eyes showed pure concern as he stroked your hair saying, "I told you, you didn't have to.."
"I wanted to. Now, leave that. What crime?"
"Oh.. nothing much. Someone stole some stuff from the market. It was reported."
"Oh, stealing? That happens here too?"
"We're also a kingdom with vampires... we love, live, die... so we also commit crimes in here." He said. 

He smiled a little as you rested your head on his lap, closing your eyes. 

---A few days later 

"We're back home." You said, entering your apartment as Taehyung replied, "We are." 
"Well... you're my neighbour." You said, looking at him as he said, "And?"
"And.. it's a little weird. How did you stay next door all this while? I was oblivious to everything but you..." He chuckled at your statement and sat on your couch saying, "Well... you know, you saw me quite a few times."
"Those red eyes there." He pointed at the corner of the kitchen as you stared in the direction of his fingers before looking at him. You sat beside him, heaving out a sigh. 

"Mina and Yuri might be coming in like... half an hour." You said.
"It's the weekend and they always come to your house on weekends." He said as you looked at him, not even capable of being surprised. He knew everything, unfortunately. You just smiled and nodded, resting your head on his chest as he patted your back. 
"Tae... do my parents know about you? They aren't my parents from my past life." You said. Taehyung smiled and said, "They don't."

"They might not be your actual parents from the past life but it is still them who gave birth to you, love. They raised you. Just like your parents from your past life did."
"They did." 

"Your dreams told you everything... but too little and faintly for you to acknowledge it."
"It's still weird to me, honestly."
"What is weird?" He asked. You just sighed and said, "I don't know... everything, honestly. Just everything is weird. I'm really happy to be with you again but, I don't know what my life will be about. What will I do in Hades all the time?"
"You don't have to be in Hades all the time. I mean, if you live forever, you can live in this world too. With your own identity, like me. We'll be a family in here and in Hades as well. That's how it works. Sometimes, Hades is not suitable to live in, especially in winter because the trees die. That's when most vampires come to earth." He said as you nodded saying, "So... in winter, Hades looks dead?"
"Yes, sort of." 

"It'd be fun to live forever." You smiled and then looked at him, tilting your head. He frowned a little, raising his brows.
"What are you thinking?" He asked in a tender voice as you said, "I'm just wondering... you look too handsome and young for someone who is over 800 years.." 
He chuckled and shook his head saying, "I'm a vampire, I'm immortal." 
"I won't age when I turn too, right?" He nodded. You giggled and said, "That's great."

"You're beautiful even if you age." He said as you frowned asking, "How would you know?"
"I know.. I saw you."
"How?" You asked, confused. 
"Were there more Y/Ns who came before?" You asked as he shook his head, giggling. 
"There were a few people who looked similar to you. Not exactly like you, but similar. I saw them grow old. At first... I thought those people were you but I was wrong. I couldn't find you until... I saw you in Paris."
"How did you go to Paris, actually?" 
"I actually knew you were there. But, I don't know why I couldn't find you there at all. I searched in Paris for months but never found you. You were right before me but I couldn't reach you I don't know why. But I found you on a special day... it was the same day when we met for the first time... in 1213. That's when I met you again, like... fate." 

You smiled and said, "I still can't forget that face of yours when you saw me in Paris. You were so close to crying." 
"I was crying, indeed." He spoke, smiling. You held his hand, playing with his fingers but a sudden jolt occurred to your body hearing the doorbell as you turned around. 
"It's Mina and Yuri," Taehyung spoke. You frowned and shook your head, smiling. 
"Should I leave?"
"No... I want them to see you."
"Really?" "Of course." 

You quickly got up and said, "Sit here, okay? I'll introduce them to my-" 
You stopped. What were you going to say? Boyfriend? Husband? Fiance? What was he to you, actually? 
"To-be-husband?" He asked, smiling. You couldn't help but let your lips curve upwards along with his. A sense of joy arose in your heart as you shook your head, walking towards the door. 

Opening the door, you were welcomed by attacks from your besties. Of course, they were serious dorks.

"Y/N?? You're glowing today!" Yuri commented as you chuckled saying, "Get in, idiots. I need you both to meet someone."
"Who is that- Oh!! Brother-in-law!" Mina's remark made everyone stare at her blankly. Taehyung just smiled and looked down saying, "I didn't know words could be so pleased to hear." 
"Woah, Y/N?! What is this Romeo doing in here?" Yuri asked as you stared at her with wide eyes.
"Hey?" You asked, totally confused. She chuckled and said, "I mean, it's obvious you both were dating. The way he was acting that day in your shop... it's just too obvious. We know it all anyway. So we aren't shocked but... home during weekends? Sus." 

"Hey, no!" You whisper-yelled as Taehyung chuckled saying, "Hello. Let me introduce myself. I'm Kim Taehyung, 28. I'm Y/N's to-be-husband."
"He was supposed to be just a year older than me." You sighed and shook your head as he smiled saying, "Nice to meet you both." 
"He seems romantic." Yuri cooed beside your ear as you blushed a little but shook your head. 

Soon, all of you were sitting at the dining table, eating lunch that Mina and Yuri brought. Thank god they always brought extra portions. Though your 'to-be-husband' didn't need to eat, Mina and Yuri would've been confused.

"So... how did you both meet?" Mina asked. You looked at her, not quite sure how to answer but before you could speak, Taehyung interrupted you saying, "I was injured... and alone. She's the one who helped me." 
Right... he was right, indeed. A smile appeared on your face as you remembered that vivid memory in your mind. A memory which didn't exist once but now, it was there. Just how it was supposed to be.
"Woah... Y/N?? You never told us!" Yuri protested as you thinned your lips saying, "I didn't know it'd turn out like this... either." 

"And... fall in love, how?" Mina interrogated further as Taehyung placed the fork on the plate saying, "I fell in love with her the moment I saw her. She was the first one I saw in a new world... the most beautiful woman I had ever seen in my entire life, to be honest. And it never changed in all this time. It could never change." 
His words held a sort of depth and sincerity which only you could hold. In all this time, by those words, did he mean all those centuries? Yes, he did, definitely. 

To Mina and Yuri, it was a simple love story of their best friend. But to you, it was a long time of pain and suffering, a battle for love. You put your hand on him, smiling at him as he looked at you saying, "And I can't imagine loving anyone but her."
"I can't, either." You whispered as he looked at Mina and Yuri with the same tender smile. They both seemed to be impressed. 
"I like him for you, Y/Nah."
"I kind of do too. He's good for you."

You chuckled and shook your head as Taehyung smiled. 

---Time skip 

"See you then~" Mina waved as you waved back at them. Yuri was already inside the elevator, shouting for Mina to get in with her. After biding your goodbyes, you both were in the apartment again. Taehyung looked at you and said, "Aren't you tired? You should go to bed."
"Are you gonna leave?" You asked, a sense of pain in your voice as he said, "Whatever you wish for." 
"Then... don't go."

He chuckled and said, "It's hard to believe you're the same one who pushed me away a month ago when I tried to tell you the truth?"
"That's... old story. I was dumb back then. Only if I had known, I honestly wouldn't waste a single moment with you." 
"Come here," Taehyung said, opening his arms for you. You wrapped your arms around his torso as he smiled, kissing the crown of your head. 
"We spent a long time... and we still have a longer time to go, love. We have forever with us." He assured me as you said, "Me too, right?"
"If you wish..." You could feel him gulp hard. 

"Why are you so hesitant? I told you I'd be fine."
"I know... I can't help but worry."
"You care about me a lot, don't you?"
"You're the only one I could ever care about..." He whispered as you smiled saying, "You're all I need, trust me. It was only you who I ever needed, to be honest. Nobody else could compare to you in my life." 

---At night 

You looked at Taehyung who was sitting there, staring at the moon. His eyes were blue. The shade of blue you had never seen. 

Sitting beside him, you spoke, "Let's go to bed?" 
"Yeah..." He whispered, smiling at you. His eyes were shining under the moonlight. His pale skin was glowing. It reminded you of the old times. 
How many years you had missed. All those centuries which could've been passed with him but didn't. It all always made an ache build up inside your heart. 

You sighed and spoke, "You're beautiful." He smiled. 

A smile which you always saw, and loved. You loved this smile so much. 
"I love your smile." You spoke, again. It was as if your thoughts were getting out of your mouth automatically. He couldn't help but smile harder, a chuckle escaping his lips. 
"I know." He said, caressing your cheeks. You leaned into his hands, closing your eyes. It felt safe, he felt so safe and warm. He felt so own, like he was so close to you, here, with you. This feeling was something you loved too much. 

"Can I tell you I love you again?" Your question made him tilt his head as he smiled saying, "I know it, love."
"I love you. I really do."

But his next words made a tear roll down your eyes and you knew your decision. The decision of your life, you were sure about it now. It was him, and you were going to be with him, forever.

"I love you more... than anything. The stars, the moon... the world. I love you more than I could ever love anything, trust me, my love. You're the only one I'd die for, I'd kill for. I've loved you for a thousand years and I'll love you for a thousand and another thousand more... forever."
