Author's POV:

You looked at Taehyung who looked a little quiet.
"I killed him." He said. You wanted to gasp but you didn't. You quietly listened to him.
"I didn't want to be the one who kills others.." He sounded down. You knew how much he despised harming others. It was the last thing he'd ever wanted to do. You turned towards him completely, caressing his cheeks and spoke, "You didn't kill anyone. You saved me, Tae." 

He smiled faintly. You shook your head saying, "Really..." 
You hugged him as he smiled saying, "Did you miss me that much?"
"You missed me more." You were right. The way he had missed you and yearned for you all these centuries could never be measured. 
"You're the only one who could ever own my heart like this." You said against his chest. He gulped. He didn't say anything. He just held your chin, kissing your lips softly. 

Pulling away, he smiled as you said, "Again." 
"You should sleep."
"No, again." He looked at your slight frown and chuckled, placing his lips on your again. This time, a longer and deeper kiss. Pulling away he said, "Rest." 
"You don't seem like you've missed me enough though I know you did." You said, wondering. He frowned and asked, "How would it look like I missed you?"
"I don't know."

You just stared at his chest, your hands tracing his abs which were visibly under the cloth. 
"I'm all yours, love. But, I can read your thoughts." 
"No, you can't." You said, pressing your lips. He chuckled and pressed a kiss on your forehead. 
"Sleep, now." 

You just smiled a little, feeling his hands caressing your hair. He felt so safe. You slowly closed your eyes, drifting off to bed in his arms.

—Next day

You groaned, waking up from a deep and peaceful sleep. You frowned not finding Taehyung anywhere.
"Was it a dream?" You asked yourself, panicking but no, your surroundings weren't different. You were in a different room. A bigger and more luxurious one. Probably like the King's chamber but when did you come here? 

You looked around when a figure came out of the bathroom. You frowned but your eyes widened as you saw him wearing a robe which showed his abs visibly. 
Gasping, you kept staring there. Those detailed abs... you knew they were detailed but you had no idea they would be this detailed... chocolate abs.

You were grinning right now, shamelessly. He walked toward you with a frowning smile. Leaning towards you, he saw you try to bite your lips and hide that shameless grin. 
"It's okay. I know you've been imagining that for months. But... I can hear your thoughts, love." He said. You bit your lips staring at him. Your cheeks turned red in embarrassment. 
He planted a kiss on your forehead saying, "Goodmorning... freshen up." 

You looked at him walk towards the huge closet, picking up something.
"Can I pick for you?" You asked. He looked at you before smiling and nodded. You quickly got up, walking towards the closet. He had so many outfits.
"Are these... real diamonds?" You asked him, gasping at the shiny stones on some of his suits.
"Yes."

You chuckled and quickly took out a burgundy suit saying, "This one?"
"Anything you say." He said, taking the suit from you. You smiled at him.
"Oh... also. A while later, some females will come in with some dresses. Okay? You can pick anything you want and come to the royal chamber. I'll be there, okay?" 
You nodded and said, "Alright.. but, what about my hometown?"
"Don't worry about that. We'll return to the earth in a few days. Relax here till then." 

You nodded and smiled at him, pressing a soft kiss on his cheek as he smiled. He patted your head as you giggled. 

Soon, he left after changing and you were in the washroom. 

It was luxurious. Big and beautiful. You took a shower quickly, making sure to clean yourself well. Afterwards, you wore the robe you found there. It was a little big for you and it smelled like him. You couldn't help but smile.

As soon as you got out, you saw a few women standing there with lots of clothing racks. 
"Welcome, Your Highness. Please choose any outfit you'd like this to wear for the Royal Breakfast." 
"Royal breakfast?" You asked.
"Well, yes. But the King has ordered to let you wear whatever you wish." 

You just listened to them before saying, "What's the formal dress code?"
"A gown would be great." One of them said. They all had a smile on their faces.
"Then... anything which would look good on me." They nodded. Sometime later, they picked a beautiful white gown and handed it to you saying, "It will go well."

"Oh... Woah!" You gasped. It was pretty. As you changed into it, you noticed how great you looked. They dried your hair and set it up into a nice messy bun. 
"You're all ready to go, Your Highness."
"Thank you."
"Our greatest pleasure."

You walked out of the room, walking towards the royal chamber where the breakfast was supposedly happening. As soon as the guard opened the door, everyone's attention went toward you. You awkwardly stood there, walking inside. 

Taehyung who was at the grandest seat didn't move an inch. He was staring at you, wide-eyed. His eyes changed colour. They changed into a purplish tone. You slightly frowned. Everyone got up and bowed saying, "Welcome, Your Highness." 

This was new. Taehyung got up and walked towards you, standing in front of you.
"Do I look weird? Why is everyone so surprised?" You asked. He shook his head and planted a kiss on your forehead saying, "You look like a dream, my love." 
Your cheeks turned deep read hearing him. You saw how the ministers were in awe seeing you. 
"Who are they?" You asked. 

He smiled and said, "They're the officials and ministers who help me run Hades." 
"Come, love." He said, holding your hand as you stood in front of them. 
"This is Mr Andrew, the official of the Military Department. This is Mr Joseph, the minister of Hades' affairs. They are the top workers of the kingdom. They've been working here for nearly 5000 years."
You gasped loudly making them chuckle. 
"She is adorable indeed, your Highness." The minister chuckled. You just gulped and stared at the others as Taehyung introduced them to you. 

Soon, you all were sitting down and eating. You noticed how he kept looking at you all the time. It was as if you had his entire attention. 

"You like guavas." He said, putting a few on your plate as you thinned your lips.
"But... you said vampires don't eat or sleep."

A minister broke into giggles hearing you.
"She's right." Another official said. 
"We don't usually eat, Your Highness. If we eat, it's only to make our tongue taste something. And we sometimes gather to eat to discuss or on special events like this one." 
"Oh." You said, nodding. They all continued chatting. Everyone seemed friendly. You found them fun. 

"Well... now, if you excuse us," Taehyung said.
"Actually, His Highness is sort of annoyed that we're taking all your attention. So, hope you have a great time, Your Highness." A minister joked as everyone laughed but they stopped seeing Taehyung stare at them. They were internally joking making you smile. 
"They're funny." You said. Taehyung smiled and patted your head, saying, "Let's go." 

—In the bedroom

"Your bedroom is so luxurious." You said. He smiled and said, "Nothing like the treehouse."
"It still exists.." You said, smiling.
"How could I let anything happen to it?" 
"I miss those days." 
"Me too, love."

He walked towards you and said, "You look so gorgeous, love..." 
"Do I? I thought it was extravagant." 
"Your beauty is..." You sighed but broke into giggles saying, "Stop!" 
He smiled and pressed his lips on yours making you groan a little. His lips felt nice on yours. They tasted like honey. Well, he just had honey with fruits so. Raspberries and honey. That's what he tasted like right now.
He pulled away, staring at you. Your foreheads were nearly sticking together as he said, "You're so beautiful..." 

It made you feel different. His voice, his whisper made you feel different. It made you want more of him, more than just a simple kiss. It made you want more than what you could think of. 

You gulped, staring at him as he closed his eyes, breathing quietly for a moment before pulling away. 
"Let's go. Why don't we explore Hades?" 
"Hades?"
"It's a world you've never imagined of, love." 

He was right. He was so right. 

As soon as you both stepped into the outside world of Hades, you couldn't help but feel like it was surreal. A literal city. A beautiful city, trees, buildings, malls, magic tricks here and there. Shops selling animal blood. Maybe that one thing was sort of uncommon for you. 

You saw how so many people were roaming around in pairs, families.
"Are they all vampires?" You asked.
"Yes, in different breeds and species."
"That's fascinating!" You said. 

You saw how everyone was greeting Taehyung as soon as they recognized him and they greeted you too. 
"Is there paparazzi here? You're a King." You said. He chuckled loudly before looking at you with his soft affectionate eyes. 
"This is Hades, love. No one cares about the fame. Everyone just lives their own life." 
"Oh... right. Vampires and humans are different."

This place wasn't as scary as you thought. Everyone looked happy, like humans. 
"Are they kids?" You asked.
"Yes." He said looking at the group of kids playing near the ground. 
"That's so beautiful." You said, looking at a huge statue. He smiled and said, "It represents the Kim Clan, the royal clan." 

You gasped and said, "You're way better and famous than I thought."
"Only for you." You smiled and held his hands tighter as you felt him moving closer to you. 

You both walked near a huge building as he said, "This is... the mall of Hades. Wanna go in there?"
