Chapter 1:: Meeting you

☁Author's POV:

"Y/Nah! Come here!" Mina spoke as you walked towards her and smiled saying, "Woah! Is this the lilac you were talking about?"
"Yeah! It's so good!! I like it... but so sad they don't sell it."
She spoke with a hint of sadness in her voice as you pat her head and replied, "Beautiful things are better seen from afar." She admired the picture of lilacs and spoke, "True... that's why you should walk away and see me from afar~"
"Quit joking."
You said and sighed, walking back to your cash counter as she followed you sitting on the counter saying, "Why do you own a flower shop when these just rot in a few days..?"

"They stay fresh for quite some time, to be honest. And when they rot without being sold... I can just throw them away." You said and smiled as she sighed looking outside the window saying, "You came back from Paris not so long ago. You have such a great degree... awesome results and such a brilliant CSAT score. How on earth is this the only thing you like?" She asked, sounding quite surprised as you chuckled.
"I studied flowers. What else should I do?" You asked as she sighed saying, "True. Well, a good thing. Your shop smells so nice." You were checking the register book of the shop as Mina got down and walked here and there.

"Oh? Where did this flower come from?" She asked holding the lilacs in a vase on the coffee table as you looked over there saying, "I brought this one from Paris. On the day I was going to return to Korea, I got this flower." You spoke as she nodded. Suddenly, you remembered the man who was staring at you with teary eyes and sighed.
"Ah... every time I look at these flowers, I remember him." You mumbled and looked down.
"He looked so familiar though, weird. Anyways." You tried to shrug off the weird thoughts roaming in your mind again and again.

You were Ha Y/N, the only daughter of Ha Sungjin and Kim Chaewoo. All your life, you lived in luxury and comfort, never experienced any hardships regarding money or necessities. But still, there were some times... you were lacking in many aspects and going through a hard time. Graduating high school and getting a high score on CSAT, applying for a college in Paris and studying there for 6 years, your education life was pretty good.

But, your dream? It wasn't as grand as your education. Your dream was simple and pretty... owning a flower shop and studying about them. You liked flowers ever since your childhood, something about them attracted you immensely but you couldn't figure out what. Flower gardens felt like home to you. Especially lilacs, those were the flowers that had the utmost impact on you.

And so, after coming back from Paris, you immediately opened a flower shop after researching and studying flowers for a long time.

"Y/N, should we get some pork ribs? Or beef ribs?" Mina asked as you looked at her saying, "How about beef?" She nodded and scrolled her phone, to order food online as you looked down and said, "Mina, I'll go get some drinks! Watch the store for me!"
Walking out of the store earning a hum from Mina, you rushed towards the convenience store.

--Time skip

Upon entering the convenience store, you took some orange juice and coke and handed them to the cashier. As the cashier was checking in the items, you looked at the TV behind him to see a historical drama.

'B-Be happy..' The girl coughed out some blood while holding onto her lover's hands who was crying endlessly. There were some scenes of a few evil soldiers and a sinister King. As the girl died, the guy in the frame was screaming in pain.

"Aigo... how sad!" The cashier mumbled and sighed as you glanced at him before looking at the TV, looking away.
"Strange dramas... but they're sad." You mumbled and looked down.

The cashier was putting the items in a bag when suddenly the store's door opened revealing a manly figure entering the store. Wearing an overcoat, beret, sunglasses and a smile, the man walked beside you, glancing at you once as he took a few random packets of nuts and chocolates placing them on the cash counter. You took your bag after completing your payment as the man standing there took off his sunglasses, paying for his food making you look at him.

A frown appeared on your face as you stared at him trying to figure out if it was who you were thinking it was. The same man from Paris, but his face looked much more familiar than that. As if you were used to it.
"Oh?" You asked as he looked at you saying, "Ah... hello! We met again." You nodded saying, "You're Korean?" He nodded with a slight smile as you passed him a slight smile, bowing. Leaving the store, you mumbled, "Woah... he's a Korean? Such a coincidence!"

Taehyung's POV:

I stared at her walking away with a slight smile and mumbled, "How many more hints do you want?"
Turning around, I noticed a fellow vampire of my Kingdom passing by. As soon he saw me, he bowed and walked away quickly as I sighed.
"It feels like yesterday... that people were so afraid of us." A whisper left my mouth as I reminisced the memories of 1213, the year of my smile when my smile was real, with her.

Suddenly, I looked at the time, 6 pm. It was time for the meeting in Hades regarding the Queen's throne.

--Time skip

Sitting at the grand chair with rows of chairs on both sides of the table occupied by the members of the royal castle, I spoke, "I've found the Queen of Hades. There's not much time left till the throne of the Queen is taken by her."
"Your Majesty, I apologize for the question. But, she doesn't remember anything from the past according to the rules of reincarnation. How shall she believe us?"
Mark, a renowned and wise member of the Royal office spoke as I looked down.
'She has to remember.' I thought and looked at him asserting, "About that, it's not a matter anybody needs to worry about in here. She has to remember her past, she will. The mark still exists."

Some time passed by as different officials gave different opinions on my statement. Soon, I got up and left the room walking inside the huge library of the castle. I took a book and sat at the table opening it. Reading a few pages, I looked at the wall of the library where different portraits of the former Kings were hung. I looked at one of the portraits to see my father's picture.

Before a year of my coronation, the King being the greedy one he was, tried to fight with other kingdoms and ended up in a bloody war. Since I was not the King yet, I wasn't allowed to enter the battlefield. Everyone there lost their lives, fighting against vampires of another league.

'Greed leads to immorality. And immorality leads to death.'

I mumbled the last line of the book and heaved out a sigh... truth.

???'s POV:

"Sir.. she is back." I looked up, wide-eyed. She is back... which means, it's time for revenge.
