( NOTE ! I will change a lot of the original story for the sake of adding something new to the story; after all, season 3 of The Vampire Diaries aired in 2011. It will follow the general events of the show but I will take the liberty of changing whatever I desire such as Esther staying dead or killing TVD characters. )
