Bad night and flash backs then texting with Ash (and a little texting with Clyde just because friends lol)

I wake up breathing quickly and prop myself up on my elbows as I lean over to check the time on my phone.
It's only 12:48, I let my head drop backwards and after a moment I lower myself back down onto the mattress.
I lay there and try to silence my mind to go back to sleep. If I go back to sleep now I can still get almost 6 hours of sleep before I have to get up for school.
I stare at the ceiling and blink my eyes a few times, hoping it'll get me asleep faster.
Before I know it, I'm dreaming.
"I have an announcement!" My mother says as the last person, my father, sits down at the table, "I got the lead pharmacist job!"
"Wow! Congrats mom!" I smile.
The twins nod, "yay!" They chourus.
"That means a raise," my father informs us.
"So maybe we'll get a house!" The twins clap.
Finally! We've needed a real house for so long. Having three cats and Daisy in this apartment has become a pet hair hell. Who knows, maybe we'll be able to buy the house for sale next to Ash's! My smile beams as I look at my mother she deserves this.
"Which means we'll be moving to California at the end of the mon-" My mother doesn't even finish the word month and I'm choking on my steak.
"What!?" I exclaim.
"Well the job is in the main pharmacy in California," my mother explains.
"We're moving?" I can feel my eyes starting to burn and I fight back tears.
"And we're getting a house there!" My father announces.
"No more apartment?" Kelly asks.
My father shakes his head, "nope."
I sit silently and watch them talk, tears burning in my eyes. I don't eat. I just sit there, trying my hardest not to cry as I think about how to Tell my friends I'm moving across the country.
I wake up in bed, my eyes watering slightly and my eyes beginning to have that familiar burn. And here I am now.
I sniffle quietly and rub my hands over my eyes.
It only takes a moment for me to fall back asleep again- crying makes it easier.
"We're moving home!" My mother announces.
I drop my fork onto my plate and it makes a loud clang, "really!?"
"I was given an offer I couldn't resist," my mother nods.
"Awesome!" Kelly exclaims.
"But we made new friends here-" Becca cuts off.
My mind flashes to Clyde.
The room spins and suddenly I'm standing in the commons at my old school.
"Lana!" Ash runs up to me and hugs me briefly, "I want you to meet my best friend; Haylie!" She steps aside to reveal the short red-hed beside her, "Haylie, this is Lana!"
"B-best friend?" My voice quivers and I raise an eyebrow.
Ash nods quickly, "we hang out all the time and tell each other everything! Honestly, I think we're some sort of soul mates- but a friend kind, obviously."
I take a step back but bump into someone behind me. I turn quickly, about to apologize to them but then realize who it is.
"Zack-?" I look at him hopefully.
"Oh, hey Lana," he half waves.
I give a small wave back and a smile starts to form, "I've miss-"
"Zack, c'mon!" A girl tugs at Zacks arm from his other side then breaks off suddenly, "who's that?"
"Oh, that's just Lana," he says casually, "Lana, this is my girlfriend, Kylie. She's actually Haylies twin," he motions to Ash and Haylie behind me.
"Huh-?" I break off, glancing between them.
Zack pulls the girl close to him and his lips latch onto hers.
My eyes begin to burn and I can feel hot tears streaming down my face.

I had some bad dreams last night. Dreams about back home and when my mom said we were moving. And then I had a dream about coming home but it turned into a nightmare when you had a new best friend and Zack introduced me to his new girlfriend and then made out with her right in front of me. Ugh. I wish I could sleep at night.

Me: Hey Ash?
Ash: Hey!!! Wassup?
Me: I dunno, I couldn't sleep last night
Ash: aw I'm sorry
Me: I kept thinking about being back home
Ash: I wish you were here
Me: Me too
Ash: Come homeeee
Me: I wish ;-;
