Chapter 15
There was soon an all out war in the dining room, flour, sugar, salt, an other powdery substances were covering the room and the people in it.
"Sayuri!" Kimi exclaimed, "Behind you!"
Turning around, Himiko's eyes widened as her eyes met Mori's and she watched as he dumped a whole packet of flour on her head, a small smile on his face.
Himiko held back some laughter, "I never expected you to enjoy something like this, Mori-senpai." She stated.
"Well, I can be surprising." He stated.
'And the pole with abbs talks.' Himiko thought. "Well, I like that." She said, smiling up at him.
He smiled warmly back, and just as Himiko was about to continue, there was a sudden shout.
"What are you doing?" The harsh voice of Kyoya made its way to Himiko's ears.
"Oh no." The high pitched whisper of a scared Tamaki echoed around the deathly silent room.
Kyoya glanced at the flour coated Himiko, and she smiled sheepishly.
"Sayuri. What's this whole mess about and why are you covered in flour?" He asked with an annoyed sigh.
"You want the long story or the shortened version?" Himiko asked.
Kyoya just narrowed his eyes.
"Fine. Long story short, I came into the room and received a face full of flour from the French Fry, and it went from zero to a hundred real quick."
"So this is all Tamaki's fault?" Kyoya asked, moving his glare towards Tamaki, who whimpered and pressed his back against the wall.
Himiko felt someone poke her and she turned to see Kimi looking at her. "Hey, what happened to not giving a shit?" She whispered.
"Oh, guess I forgot." Himiko muttered.
Kimi sighed. "Honestly, it's none of my business if everyone ends up finding out who you actually. But you're my friend, and I know you would be put into an awkward situation if everyone knew."
Himiko just nodded. "I appreciate it." She said quietly. Then took a breath, putting the act on again.
"Alright, everyone get cleaning." Kyoya said.
"Why can't your maids do it?" Hikaru complained. "That is what they're for."
"Because they're busy enough without you idiots going and making a mess." He said as he looked over at Himiko and Kimi, and started to walk over to them, shoving some paper towels in Kimi's hand and some cleaner in Himiko's. "You two will be cleaning too."
Himiko stifled a sigh, and managed to nod, and everyone got to work on cleaning.
Once they were done, Himiko could see her reflection on the table, and the floor was clean enough to eat off of. "Well, now that that's done, I'm going to go take a shower."
"Call me when you're done." Kimi called after Himiko.
"Will do." Himiko responded, she climbed up the stairs and headed into the bathroom. Locking both of the doors, she undressed and turned the shower on.
As she was waiting for the water to get hot, she stared at herself in the mirror. Her face and neck were covered in flour, not to mention her hair was a complete mess, against the black the flour and sugar easily stood out. Though under the powder, Himiko noticed that her natural brown hair was noticeable near her roots. She would have to take care of that soon.
A minute or two later, steam started to appear and Himiko stepped into the shower, cleaning off the mess.
About 15 minutes of scrubbing her hair, Himiko finally managed to get all of the powder and sugar off of her, and she stepped out of the shower, wrapping a towel around her as she stepped back into her room. Grabbing some clothes, she easily changed into her outfit for the day.
She stepped out and took a deep breath, her wet hair plastered to her skin and causing her clothes to dampen. She walked downstairs with her hands in her pockets. "Alright, Kimi, showers open."
She wasn't greeted with a response, and worry made it's way into her chest. Rushing down the stairs, she looked in the dining room, seeing that nobody was in there. "Where could everyone be?" She asked, starting to look around the house. "Hello? Anyone?" She called out.
Stopping, Himiko placed her hand on her chin. They wouldn't of gone anywhere, so they must be somewhere in the hose. Taking a deep breath, she smirked. "Well, guess it's a game of Hide and seek. How fun~"
Standing still and keeping quiet, Himiko listened to her surroundings, hide and seek was something that the organization used to train senses and ability to sneak around, though of course, she doubted that this game was going to be as intense as the way she played it when she was little.
Hearing a creek of wood, Himiko made her way to the kitchen, opening the doors to the pantry, she was almost defended by a scream.
"Shut it French Fry." Himiko grumbled, looking at Tamaki, who was now sitting on the ground, mushrooms somehow growing around him.
"How did you find me. I was so quiet."
"Only an idiot would hide in the kitchen pantry." Himiko stated blandly. Then she smiled, "Let's go find the others!"
The two walked around the house, after Tamaki, Himiko found Mori, he was just standing with a lamp shade on his head, while Honey was under some of the couch cushions. Next Tamaki found Haruhi, who was hiding in one of the guest bathrooms behind the shower curtain. Hikaru and Kaoru were hiding upstairs in Kyoya's room, both in the closet.
"Alright you two, get out of the closet." Himiko said, attempting to hold back a laugh.
"Fine." They muttered, stepping out.
"So you've found everyone-" Hikaru started.
"Except for Rin-senpai, Kimi-senpai, and Kyoya-senpai?" Kaoru finished.
Himiko nodded, she expected that those three would be the hardest to find. Rin and Kimi had tons of experience hiding, she assumed at least one of them was in the vent shaft, while Kyoya on the other hand probably just found somewhere to sit out of sight.
"Let's check downstairs again." Honey suggested.
Everyone else agreed, and Himiko led the way downstairs and headed Towards the dining room, glancing in and sighing, an unamused expression on her face. "Kyoya..." She said, her eyes meeting his from under the table. He didn't even bother closing his laptop. "This is Hide and Seek, not sit under the table on your laptop."
"Well. I was told to hide somewhere obvious."
Himiko reached out her hand and helped him out from under the table. "Guess Rin told you, huh?" She sighed. "That must mean he's around here then."
She moved around the room, keeping her eyes and ears open as she looked around for him, she saw a pair of eyes in a vent shaft close to the floor.
"Found you~" She mused, walking over. "You can come out Ri."
The vent cover opened and Himiko found herself staring down at Rin. "You found me." He sighed.
"Now all who's left is Kimi." Himiko muttered.
Rin stood up and brushed off the dust. "I think we both know the places she might be."
Himiko just nodded. "I got outside and you got inside?" She asked.
"Sure." Rin said.
Himiko moved to walk outside, seeing the the rest of the host club were looking around. They weren't going to find her, Kimi always had the best hiding spots.
Taking a breath of fresh air, she took a couple steps away from the house, spotting a vine climbing up the walls. Smirking, she headed towards the vine. Grabbing onto the main stem, she pulled on it, thankfully it seemed sturdy enough for her to climb.
Scaling up the vine carefully, Himiko soon found herself standing on the roof, looking at a black haired girl that seemed to be sunbathing.
"Something tells me this isn't the first time you've done this." Himiko said, alerting Kimi to her presence.
"Well, someone has to Make sure the surroundings are clear." Kimi stated.
Himiko walked over and sat down next to her friend. "Well, I can't think of anyone better suited for the job." Himiko teased.
"I'll have you know I'm the most qualified out of all three of us."
Himiko let out a chuckle. "Alright, let's head back. The hosts are probably wondering where we are."
Kimi just sighed, "Fine." Though she didn't make any effort to move.
"Come on Kimi." Himiko said, grabbing onto he vine. "Can't you just leaf this place?"
Kimi's head snapped over to look at Himiko, "You didn't." She groaned.
"Oh I did~" Himiko mused, then she headed back to the ground, her feet falling flat on the ground once she reached the bottom of the vine, and she headed back inside, Kimi following right behind her.
Himiko threw the door open. "I found Kimi." She said, making her tone flat.
"Where was she?" Hikaru asked, walking up with Kaoru beside him.
"Out in a tree." She said.
After a while, the host club finally got ready to leave, all of them exiting out the front door as their rides arrived, and Himiko, Kimi, and Rin were hanging out in their room.
"You know. I liked today." Himiko said, laying on her bed and looking up at the ceiling.
"Yeah." Kimi agreed. "It was almost like we were normal high schoolers."
"I wish that were the case." Rin muttered.
"Well, the best we can hope for are a couple normal days." Himiko muttered, closing her eyes.
