I understand why he went crazy, but I still kinda hate him. He's such a wimp. Instead of getting over his grief and moving on from Squirrelflight, he bathes in his hatred. He wished death to Firestar's family. He even plots woth Hawkfrost and attempts to kill Firestar.

But also, he wasn't destined to be Squirrelflight's mate after all! StarClan actually had a reason to make her choose Brambleclaw!

Ashfur is Squirrelflight's distant half-uncle!

I knew the Erins get characters's genders mixed up and forgets who's kin with who, but THIS.

And then there's Dustpelt and Ferncloud being mates even though they're related.

I'm just ranting now.
