tomorrow. XXI
A few days passed,
and Hana was deemed to be healthy
enough to leave the hospital.
All the bills have been taken care of by her mother,
and the driver behind the incident.
She was given a special wheelchair that could be
easily maneuvered even without help.
It was almost as if it was the hospital's way of saying
"You won't lose your freedom—" to her.
She took one last glance at the balcony where she
pledged to restart her life.
There was a wistful look on her face.
She breathed deeply,
taking in the sweet, fresh air of the fields below.
The wheelchair made a metallic sound,
as her mother pushed it towards the hallway.
Hana leaned behind her, and smiled—
as if bidding farewell to the scenery.
"I'll…
start over.
Thank you for showing me how to."
