It looked much too different from the other houses.


The house was almost as inconspicuous as the trees found within modern cities.

not found within other structures in the area.


The exterior of the house was designed with the brightest shade of white, with large sliding windows covering its front.

The smell of a freshly-mowed lawn appealed to Nao's sense of smell.



A single glance at the home made him feel complete.


Tranquil.


"Alright,"

she remarked.


"It's okay now!" she said with a smile.


She tapped his left hand, which was holding a push handle of her wheelchair.



"Well, I'll be going now," he softly said, his hand waving goodbye.


Before he turned around, however...


...she called out his name.


"Nao," she whispered.



"Why don't you stay for a while?" Her face looked bright.


He smiled at her, much like before.



"...No, thank you," He uttered.


"Don't worry, I'm sure we'd see each other again there."

 He laughed, calmly alleviating her sadness.



She returned a happy expression, which was apparent on her face.



"Mhm."
