Hana was waiting with bated breath.

She wanted Nao to face the abyss that he has been fighting for a long time.

But for some reason, imagining him reconciling with Sumika made her heart shrink.

She tried her best to banish those thoughts away, yet Hana could only think about his smile―

which was once only hers.

jealousy?

She held her face, which was beet red.

Hana couldn't stop thinking about Nao.

Nevertheless, she wanted him to be happy.

"I wonder if things went well…"

She shuffled uncomfortably, her vision pacing back and forth between the trees and the entrance to the fields.

After a few minutes, there he was.

He looked as though a heavy weight is finally off his shoulders.

"Hana…" He said.

Nao ran close and embraced her.

"Thank you."

All of her previous emotions were gone.

It seemed as if his presence was the embodiment of serenity.

But she couldn't forget―

How somebody may take him away from her.

"Nao…?" she asked, only muttering his name because of the sudden turn of events.

She reciprocated his embrace, touching his back with her fingers.
