24 | Reticence
• Reticence •
Liberated from the grip of egoism, like the moon (after the eclipse), full, ever blissful, self-luminous, one attains one's essence.
Adhyatma Upanishad

The wind reached near him just to fondle him as his skin smeared with the first glimmer of sun. The beam made him glisten, he was the subtlest secret that may yearn to infer. However, he was in his embrace to uncover one enigma that was beyond anyone perception.
His eyes meet the ring in his finger, and he comprehended about her. He was receptive from the very first moment, yet he let himself near her. This would bring two things either death or destruction.
He reminisced everything, nothing can be missed by him. Nevertheless, he let himself be exploited. Though, not really. He was just discovering one more dimension of existence.
He touched his countenance that was turned into the shade of red. Under the glitter of the sun, he let himself be relinquished.
Every day she will come at the same time here, and he will behold her without any upheaval. However, today he had some questions.
He heard the sound of her ankle bells. The sound that reached his ears, melodious way to recognise her. She says she is a commoner yet everything about her is unique.
She looked around at him as he was way away from his sight. Once her eyes caught a glimpse of him she turned around with the scarlet colour on her cheeks. He didn't come near her, so she swivelled and a line appeared between her brows.
No matter how much he tried he was held by her innocence. He went near her and said those lines which he wanted to say from long.
"Eyes can hoodwink us, emotions and our identity can tell an untruth but the sparkle that speaks for you can't. You aren't what you illustrate. Behind the epitome of kindness and sweetness, there is a warrior as well."
Confusion was visible in her eyes. Not once has anyone shamed her so why was he asking such a question.
She didn't let these emotions overpower her."Don't we all have an identity that we hide from others? Sometimes to help ourselves or sometimes to others. These are just haze of our eyes. But nothing can be hidden from the soul."
His lips stretched as he knew she saw him as another soul like her. Maybe she knew she couldn't conceal that even when she tried. "We don't hide from the one with whom we see as one. Don't worry I have never seen you distinct. You are like that page who is inscribed by different hues yet is plain waiting to be coloured in differed shades."
Her eyes bore into him. "I already know about the colour and yearn for them. I wondered if they are under anyone's reach."
Puzzle, one sentence and more dilemma. They were two pieces of the same riddle that were to be found. They were diverse but for others not for them.
He brought the elegant blossom and placed them in her hair. Its claret-red matched with her innocuous self.
"These colours are temporary I have something perpetual. When the time will come and these layers will wither these will attain you. Till you have my something precious with you."
She rose her eyebrow. "What is it?"
After adjusting the flower he put the single strand of her hair in the front. "Something that is to be held by only your soul."
He appeared in semblance and his lips held themself to deter a smile as he saw her looking at him as turmoil inside her. "As one hides away themselves, they let the illusion be present. As soon as one lets go of these traits you are true to not only others but to yourself."
Now he demanded the answer to the question which he waited for long. "Tell me the truth."
These words torment her furthermore. They halted her, and for a second her heartbeat came to a standstill. This is something she has feared from along.
But, her trust couldn't be so fragile that it would alter with time. The identity which she has confided to him she what believed and has never lied to him. "Yuvraj I have told you, there can be no validity greater, no notion conscious than it. I am a soul who has been trapped in this body, this body with moment would get old and with time this could submerge; not literally but would meet its final destination her God."
He was now inoculated with doubts. "Why do thinks then that marriage is required between too? If that's the final destination and what is the need to spend time with someone."
"You may have forgotten Yuvraj but mokshā is the final and the supreme goal. But before that, a human had to fulfil the Puruṣārtha. The meaning of the four could be different for all, but while fulfilling them and attaining the last destination one requires regular guidance. For people who are guiding each other, it's become easier to reach there, the final destination. In these relations, they are tied by the Vedic mantras whose vibration itself guide both of them. As I have told you these mantras are only effective if they have reached your soul and with your heart, you spoke them. You both also keep under the constraints of these māntras. And some people are self-realised, they aren't to be seen from the same notion; not be bound by our limited thinking and we still have to learn a lot."
To her, this answer was given by her father. She had seen him, guiding him and telling the significance of every ritual. The words told what her father taught her and what she has learned.
"I hope you are aware that as the time is near. You may have to go someday. Have you decided where you have to go?
"Rathnānthi." She replied without any hesitation.
"There only... you don't want to return?" He started to speculate.
She softly mumbled. "I have something to tell, maybe to.."
Indraneel stopped nearby and greeted him but then he noticed Abhīstāda and apologised. He was going to go away from there but she stopped him.
"Dev, you don't need to go. Maybe you have something important to tell." As she caught a glimpse of him in tension. "Maybe those words were to remain incomplete and it wasn't the correct time to appear."
Saying so; she last time looked at him as she fondled the flower in her hand and smiled before turning and moving away. She was unknown to the fact that indirectly she had only saved her and Rāthnānathi.
Indraneel told him. "I had heard Yuvrāja of Swamari talking about the war and we were correct it's against Rāthnānathi." For him, everything paused as if the gust of wind has stopped near him. He had a lot to observe in a few junctures.
His expression clouded as he understood to seriousness behind it. Prambhattakar Adyānt has always assisted them even if anyone who is entitled to the credit for saving his father and brother is him. He sent the help on time. Now it was his turn to help the ally.
Indraneel detailed the information. "He has said that since Rathnānthi didn't have a crowned Prince but Princess it would be easier to conquer. That's where his army is; near the border of Rāthnānathi. Also, he has placed the army near our border so we can't help.
He interrupted him as now he could decipher the strategy. If they decided to help he would attack them as currently he was the only one who had to take the command and no one was there to hold the administration at the centre because both the king and younger Prince were injured.
He turned and looked at him worried, at the moment he was helpless. The ground beneath is strong like before but the feet jas lost the ability to stand, stand firm on themselves.
"Abhīstāda.." Indraneel started but was stopped in between by Yuvraj.
"I know her... She is the Yuvranī of Rathnānthi. Vrīnda had told me she is capable and she can invariably combat. She is a lone warrior."
If he was aware of her capability then why has the sadness constraint over him. He still looked sore, in the distress. "Then why are you sad?"
Only he and he was aware of the truth and no one else realise the deepness behind it. It was he who had endured. For him, it was the most difficult. He couldn't infer how to tell. "For that, she had to be informed."
"We would. Keśava everything is fine." He tried to ease him but he had something else that has occupied his thoughts in the mind. He wasn't worried about it but afraid of how it was to be told because she wasn't there where they thought her to be. After listening to him, he spoke.
"In this war, I am going to lose something precious, that I am sure."
