Neil came to Avni's house and rang the doorbell.

Neela opens the door and welcomes him inside. He saw Avni sleeping peacefully on the couch. Neela guided him towards the swimming pool area. They both sat on their respective chairs.

Neela - Neil, Ananya trusts you and this is very shocking thing for me.

Neil became confused at her confession.

Neela - She never trusts a man so  easily. You are the first man who have marked a special place in her heart. ( smiles )

Neil - But why she don't trust men ?

Neela - Keep these questions for Ananya. With time, the walls she  built around herself will break automatically if you will treat her with love and care.

Neil - I will stand by her side aunty, all  I need is a chance. I know it's difficult for Ananya to cope up with the current situations but I won't back out at this moment when she and our baby needs me.

Neela - Neil, I know you are a man of principles still I am a mother so it's pretty much obvious that I won't give my daughter's hand without analysing the person with whom her  life will be connected in the bond of marriage.

Neil - You can ask me anything you want.

Neela - You want to marry Ananya cos she is pregnant with your baby. Are you only thinking about your baby ? I mean, after the arrival of baby, you won't ignore Ananya. Am I right ?

Neil - Ananya is my first priority. Maybe this baby is the reason of our marriage but before being the father of our baby I will be termed as Ananya's husband and she will get all the rights of my wife. She is and she will always remain my first priority.

Neela - What if someday you will get to know some deep secret associated with Ananya ? Like, some past wound. Then what will you do ?

Neil - I will try to understand the situation. Past wounds are very severe, they won't let you live happily. I will understand Ananya's situation and will try to give her all the happiness and love that will heal her pain.

Neela - Seems like you also have some past that is buried deep inside you.

Neil - Ananya deserves to know about my past and I will tell her once the situations become normal.

Neela - She is a broken girl Neil. Even if you will develop feelings for her someday, she might not be able to reciprocate your feelings.

Neil - I am ready to wait for her. Atleast we can stay as friends.

Neela - You will keep her happy right ?

Neil - Give me one chance, that's all I can ask for aunty.

Neela - Don't. ( sternly )

Neil frowns in confusion.

Neela - Don't call me aunty, call me Neela ma. ( smiles )

Neil smiles.

Neil - Thank you aunty ... oops sorry Neela ma. ( smiles )

Neela - I want to meet your family.

Neil - I will ask them to come here tomorrow. By the way, can I ask you a question ? only if you are comfortable.

Neela - Where is Ananya's rest of the  family ? Right ? I am her only family. ( sad )

Neil - I am really sorry if I hurt you in any way.

Neela - You haven't. ( smiles ). I am very happy cos my daughter is in safe hands.

Neil - I have to leave now.

Neela - Stay for some more time. Let Ananya wake up, meet her once then go.

Neil - Actually I am having some important work to do before my and Ananya's wedding.

Neela - Everything is okay ? ( concerned )

Neil - Don't worry Neela ma, I am there for handling everything. You just take care of Ananya. I know, she won't take care of herself.

Neela chuckles.

Neela - You are aware regarding my daughter's antics.

Neil - No doubt. Take care. Bye.

Neil was going towards the main door but stopped in the middle of the living room and went towards the sleeping Avni. Neela was admiring him from a distance.

Neil tucks behind the hair strands that were covering Avni's face and smiles while looking at her. He held her hand and plants a soft kiss on her knuckles.

Neil - Take care ( whispers )

He caress her belly lovingly with a smile adoring his face.

Neil - Come soon. ( smiles )

He got up and left from there while Neela smiles recalling their conversation.

Neela - You have send Neil as a blessing in Avni's life Ayesha ji. Our daughter will get that happy married life that her mothers were unable to get. Neil is not Ashish Mehta, he will keep her happy and secured. Avni is very precious part of both of us and I am giving her hand in Neil's hand cos only he can bring her out of that darkness which have haunted her throughout her life.

Mehta mansion

Khanna family entered inside Mehta mansion while the entire Mehta family became shocked due to their sudden visit. Dayavanti masked a fake smile on her face and welcomed them.

Dayavanti - What a pleasant surprise !! ( fake smile ) Please come and have a seat.

Prakash - We want to talk about something. It's very important.

Dayavanti - What happened everything fine ? ( worried )

Prakash - Khanna industries have suffered a huge loss and due to this the entire empire is in debt so we are thinking to cancel our deal with Mehta company but we won't cancel Neil's and Riya's marriage.

Shweta - Yes, only business deal is cancelled. ( she stretched the word business deal ). Marriage will still take place.

Dayavanti was shocked to the core, her legs started trembling in fear while words stuck into her throat. She was clueless and every worst possible scenario that can take place due to cancellation of this deal was coming infront of her eyes.

Neil - What happened dadi ji ? Why are you worried ? We aren't cancelling the marriage. I will still marry Riya. ( smirks )

Dayavanti just looked at Ketan while he was hell worried about their company.

Riya came inside the living room after listening some voices and found entire Khanna clan standing there while her grandmother's face was pale and her father was lost in his own world.

Neil saw her and smiled, this was a shocker for Riya as she expected him to burst on her after whatever happened.

Neil - Riya, I know whatever happened was wrong but don't worry I will marry you.

Riya - Huh !! What happened ? ( confused )

Neil - You know what Riya, Khanna family have suffered a huge loss and due to this loss, we even have to sell our house for fulfilling our daily  requirements but I won't leave you at this moment. I will marry you, don't worry. We all will compromise with our lifestyle. You will compromise with your needs, Right ?

Riya - What ? ( shocked ) No no no I can't marry you.

Neil - Why you can't marry me Riya ? We both have crossed all the lines. Remember ? You were dressed in black dress and then you offered me some coffee. After that whatever happened .... ( Riya cuts him off )

Riya - Come back into your senses Neil. ( yells ) I was wearing yellow coloured dress not black and I didn't offered you coffee. I offered you juice spiked with sleeping pills but don't know why our glasses got exchange and I ended up consuming sleeping pills. You left from there and nothing happened. Now, there is no need of this marriage as Khanna industries is already in debt, so the deal is also cancelled. There is no need of wedding now. ( she said in one go not realising what she said )

Bebe - Waw !! ( clapping her hands ) What a game plan ? But you know what, two can play a game. ( smirks )

Mehtas were shocked.

Prakash - It was a small game for exposing your real colours. ( smirks )

Shweta - Thank God !! We came to know about your real face or else you all would have spoiled my son's life due to your greed for money.

Neil took the papers of deal from Prakash.

Neil - The deal is cancelled. ( tearing the papers into small pieces and threw it in the air ) We don't know you and you also don't know us. Everything is over.

Saying this they all left from there while Dayavanti was standing there gazing the bits of paper. Her face was blank, her hopes were killed badly and now she is left with nothing.

Neela's house

Avni woke up from her deep slumber and found Neela sitting beside her. Neela smiles and spreads her arms, Avni clings to her like a baby and Neela caress her hairs lovingly.

Neela - I talked to Neil.

Avni broke the hug and looked at Neela.

Neela - He is a nice guy, he will keep you happy. Just give him a chance.

Avni simply nods as she didn't knew how to react.

Neela - Don't worry about anything now. Think about the life growing inside you.

Avni - So many unexpected things are happening maa. I don't know how will I manage all this.

Neela - My bacha is very strong, she will manage everything.

Avni just hugs her while she kept on caressing her hairs.

Their moment was broken due to a phone call. Avni looked at her mobile and found Neil's name flashing on the screen.

Neela - Seems like someone is very eager to talk with his soon to be wife. ( teasing )

Avni didn't said anything and went towards her room not before picking up her mobile in order to avoid further teasing sessions from her dear mom.

As soon as she reached the room, she picked up the call ......... ( missing something ? 🤣🤣 )
