Avni and Neil sat in the car and drove away towards a location which was unknown to Avni. She wanted to ask Neil about the same but was hesitating as she didn't wanted to act like a despo infront of him but deep inside she was very curious about the upcoming surprise. For diverting her mind, she kept on looking outside not speaking a single word while Neil was stealing glances on her time to time. The silence surrounding them was very peaceful so no one dared to break it until and unless a phone call became the villain of their peace. Avni's mobile was continuously ringing and when she saw the caller I'd, she was confused whether to receive that call or not. Neil also saw her mobile screen which displayed Riya's name and he knew that she was in dilemma. Avni was only thinking about Aman, she was stuck in a difficult situation. If she will keep contacts with Mehta then it will be harmful for her baby as she can't even imagine Dayavanti's reaction when she will get to know that Ananya Verma who was Riya's friend few days back and well wisher of Mehta family is pregnant with Neil's baby who was Riya's ex - fiancee. On the other side, if she will break all her ties with Mehta family then she won't get her brother back whom she have lost during her childhood.

She was busy in her world until and unless her shivering hand was tangled into a warm hand. She looked at Neil who have entwined their hands.

Neil - Ignore these people Ananya, if they can force Riya into a marriage for some amount of money then they can harm you as well as our baby.

Avni - ( in mind ) I am a victim of their crimes Neil but now I can't risk my baby's life.

She diverted Riya's call and blocked all the contacts associated with Mehta family. Neil smiles at her actions and continued his driving.

Avni - ( in mind ) But why is she calling me since yesterday ? Maybe, she want help for mending her broken relation with Neil. ( sighs )

After good 10 minutes, Neil stopped his car outside a decent restaurant. They both went inside the restaurant which was decked up with classy interiors and magnificent aroma splendid within that four walled hall making it classy in it's own way. The soft music playing there make her feel good as recently she was enjoying these tender things which sooth one's mind. Neil smiles after seeing that small smile lingering on her lips assuring him that she liked the place he chose for them.

Neil approached manager and gave him some strict instructions regarding the food that will be served to Avni and asked him to arrange everything properly. All this while, Avni was looking at him with pride filled eyes. She wondered, how a person can give her so many reasons to adore him more.

Neil finally ended his long list of do's and don'ts and manager guided them towards their reserved cabin. As soon as they entered the cabin, another shocking bomb exploded over Avni. The cabin was spacious enough to accommodate atleast twenty people. A round table covered with white linen tablecloth was placed in the centre of the cabin along with two chairs. A bunch of fresh colourful flowers was kept in the middle of table and glass utensils were positioned on the either side of the table. A band of five people were standing at the one end of the cabin playing soft and soothing music. Neil forward his hand towards her and she didn't waste any other second to clasp her hand within his, they both moved towards the table holding each other's hands and Neil made her sit properly and then took his seat. They both ordered their drinks and starters.

Avni was looking around still not overcoming the fact that he did all this for her. She was so busy in admiring the place that she forgot to watch the two magnificent orbs that were busy in admiring her. It was for the first time when someone have arranged a beautiful surprise for her other than her Neela ma. Though Neil was enjoying his staring session still he badly wanted to talk to her so he broke the ice.

Neil - Did you like it ?

Avni who was completely lost within the beauty of the cabin finally came back into reality and found Neil waiting for his answer. She just smiled at him and nodded her head positively.

Avni - But... ( Neil didn't let her complete )

Neil - But there was no need for doing all these arrangements, I don't like much fancy things. Right ? ( smirks )

Avni chuckles while he stares her lovingly.

Avni - Yeah !! There was no need. I am comfortable with a normal restaurant.

Neil - Even I don't like fancy things but we are not alone. ( smiles ) So, I thought of arranging our date into Ali's cafe but he was out of town so I arranged it here.

Avni - A..Ali knows about my preg.....pregnancy ?

Neil - No, but I will tell him when he will come back. He is my friend and he have the right to know this.

Avni - ( in mind ) Ali don't know that I am Avni still he is having doubts on me. Don't know how will he react after knowing about my pregnancy.

Neil snaps his fingers infront of her dragging her out from her never ending thoughts.

Neil - Where are you lost ?

Avni shakes her head indicating nothing.

Avni - Why you planned this sudden date ?

Neil - Since yesterday we all are rushing here and there so I just wanted to grab some moments of peace with you. I know you still are not ready to accept me as your husband but just go with the flow Ananya. You remember, what doctor said, no stress and tensions.

Avni - I will try my best to adjust in this relation but Neil everything is happening so fast. I am scared about future.

Neil - Then, don't think about it. Focus on present. ( smiles )

Avni - Are you happy with these unexpected happenings ?

Neil - Yes, I am happy and you know why ?

Avni - Why ?

Neil - Because I have accepted whatever my destiny have planned for me.

Avni - Everything is very new to me. I never indulged myself into love and all. I always run away from these weird feelings and I don't believe in marriage.

Neil - Why ? ( confused ). Don't tell me that you didn't have any college crush.

Avni nods negatively.

Neil - Why you kept on running away from love Ananya ? You know it's a beautiful feeling. ( smiles )

Avni - It seems as if you have loved someone very dearly.

Neil - Yes.

Avni - You ... you have loved someone then why are you marrying me ? Listen Neil, if you have someone in your life then ....

Neil - Ananya calm down. I accept that I have a past but now I don't think about that buried past, I only want to spend my present and future with you and our baby.

Avni remain silent, she felt a sudden pain in her heart when she got to know that Neil loved someone. Neil understood her inner turmoil.

Neil - Ananya, I know what are you thinking and believe me I will tell you about my past but not now. We both are here for spending time with each other.

Avni - If your past will collide with your present, then what will you do ?

Neil - I already told you that I want to live in present so I won't let my past affect our upcoming life.

Avni smiles a bit.

Neil - Now, just leave all these emotional talks and tell me something about your hobbies and all. We should atleast know about each other's favourites.

Avni - Hobbies ?
( in mind ) planning and plotting. No, I can't say like this or else this supercop will sue me.

Avni - Hobbies .... ( thinking about an answer )

Neil - I haven't ask you about Einstein's equation that you are taking so much time for answering my simple question. ( raises his eyebrows )

Avni - ( muttering under her breath ) Einstein's equation is much better than this hobbies discussion.

Neil - What ? ( confused ). Speak loudly.

Avni - My hobby.... umm.. ...  Martial arts. ( smiles )

Neil - Hein !! ( shocked )

Avni - Yeah !! Martial arts, karate, boxing, taekwondo, kick boxing, judo. My hobbies, you see. ( smiles nervously )

Neil - ( in mind ) My fiancee is quite dangerous, stay safe Neil Khanna.

Avni - You know when I was in college, I broke the nose of a senior who tried to bully me. ( chuckles )

Neil looked at her with horrific eyes.

Neil - You were ladydon since your college days.

Avni - Oh hello! It was his mistake not mine. I can't bare any wrong thing  happening with me or some other person.

Neil - Tell me some other incidents where you used your ladydon avatar.

Avni - Then listen.

Here she was narrating all the incidents while he was looking at her dreamingly.

Neil - ( in mind ) Ananya Verma the girl who always possess anger on her face is still a kid. A sweet kid whom she have buried deep inside her heart. I don't understand, why you hide your inner emotions Ananya. I think your pregnancy mood swings are responsible for these slight changes in your persona and I am really thankful to your mood swings cos of them I am able to discover this childish site of yours.

Soon their food arrived but Avni was busy in describing her fighting techniques.

Neil - Ananya let's have our food first then we will talk. Okay ?

Avni - No, ( pouts ) I still have so much things to tell you.

Neil - Baba I will listen to your each and every gossip but you need to eat as baby is also hungry.

Avni - Okay ! ( pouts sadly )

Neil can't see her sad so he shifts his chair beside her and held the plate in his hand.

Neil - You narrate your stories, I will make you eat. ( smiles )

Avni - Yeah !! That's a great idea.

Avni was telling him something or the other while he made her eat occasionally. Whenever he used to push a morsel into her mouth he didn't let her speak and when she engulfs the bite, she continued her narrating session making him smile at her antics.

Neil finally made her eat the entire food and she also stopped her talking session.

Avni - You won't have your food ?

Neil - I will eat now. ( smiles )

After having his food, he held her hand while she looked at him confused.

Neil - Wanna join me for a dance ? ( huskily )

Avni nods nervously not able meeting his gaze. They got up and moved few steps away from their table. The band started playing a romantic music.

Neil wrapped his one hand around Avni's waist and entangled his other hand with her's hand. Her one hand automatically slid towards his shoulder and their eyes locked with each other as soon as the musical notes hits their ears. They were swaying their bodies gently with the slow beats and Neil made sure that Avni was held tightly within his arms. He joins his forehead with hers while her eyes automatically closed in reaction. Seeing her lost in the moment, he also closed his eyes drowning himself within the tranquillity that is muffled up within their souls.

They opened their eyes after what felt like ages only to submerge within each other's orbs once again. Neil made her turn around and now her back was pressed against his hard chest while his hands were wrapped against her waist caressing it lovingly. She kept her hands on his and he pressed his chin over her shoulder sending shivers down her spine as his warm breath was brushing against her earlobe. Neil's hands shifted on her belly and he started drawing random patterns there which was enough for her to understand that he is trying to feel his baby while Neil was smiling thinking about their little one growing inside her. Avni felt blessed as this man never fails to make her realise that she is the only girl in this world who can make him happy.

Soon the song came to an end and they both settled themselves on their chairs once again. Neil was admiring the crimson red colour that have appeared on her white milky cheeks ever since they danced with each other. He was enjoying these small yet precious moments that define their togetherness.

Soon the deserts arrived and Avni drooled over the chocolate brownie with hot chocolate sauce and vanilla ice-cream. Her face lit up with a huge smile which was enough for curving Neil's lips into a beautiful smile. Avni started devouring the desert without wasting any other second while Neil as usual was multi tasking with his eyes fixed on Avni and hands busy in feeding himself with brownie.

Avni was lost in her brownie world when Neil clicked a candid pic of her without coming into her notice. He smiled while looking at her cute pic.

After sometime, they both left the restaurant and retraced their path towards Avni's home.

Avni - ( in mind ) Avni you should thank him for this date but it's a difficult task. Still, I will thank him. Yeah !! I will.

Neil stopped his car outside her house.

Avni - Aaa.. umm !!

Neil - You want to say something ? ( raises his brows )

Avni - I just want to say, t....t....thank.... thank you. ( sighs ). Thanks for this wonderful evening. ( smiles )

Neil - It's my duty to arrange surprises for my lady. ( smiles )

Avni's heart skipped a beat after listening his words and again red colour occupied her cheeks making him smile.

Avni - Good night.

Neil - Good night and take care of yourself and this little soul. ( touching her belly )

Avni smiles and nods positively. She came out of the car while he drove away after waving her a good bye.

She entered inside her house and found it decorated beautifully while her mother was sitting in the living room with a plate full of rose petals and mehendi cones. Neela smiled at Avni and gestured her to come near her. Avni sat beside Neela.

Neela - Shall we proceed ?

Avni nods positively.

Neela applied mehendi on her hands while Avni was admiring her mother's happy face.

Neela - So, how was your date ?

Avni - It was good.

Neela - Only good ?

Avni - Maa, I am already tired.

Neela - Only few minutes bacha.

Avni - You were right.

Neela looks at her.

Avni - Neil is not Ashish Mehta. ( smiles )

Neela - I am happy that you realised it. Now accept one more reality.

Avni - And what is that ?

Neela - You are neither Ayesha nor Neela. You are Avni who will write her own story. ( smiles )

Avni - I trust Neil but I don't trust myself. ( looks down )

Neela - Whenever this thought strikes your mind just look into Neil's eyes, you will find yourself absolutely perfect. ( smiles )

Avni didn't spoke anything and Neela also gave her some space to understand her inner turmoil.

After good two hours, Neela made Avni sleep in her lap and was patting her head lovingly.

Next morning
8:00 am

Neela - Avni bacha wake up. We have to perform haldi ritual.

Avni - Maa, let me sleep. ( covering her face with the pillow )

Neela - After haldi ceremony you can sleep for sometime. Get up Avni, you have to take your medicines as well.

Avni - No no no. ( like a baby )

Neela sighs.

Neela - Good morning Neil, you here at this time.

Avni immediately got up and looked around only to find her dear mother sitting there with teasing glance.

Neela - I wasn't knowing that my daughter is so eager to meet Neil. ( teasingly )

Avni - Its not like that, I am gonna sleep now. ( anger )

Neela - Not again. Now get ready without any tantrums. After haldi you can take rest for sometime.

Avni huffs in anger and went inside the washroom for getting ready. Neela giggles at her daughter's angry face.

Avni dressed up in a yellow lehenga and Neela made her wear flower jewellery after alot of pleadings as Avni wasn't ready to wear the jewellery. Neela heaved a huge sigh of relief after dressing up Avni who was flaunting her puppy face gesturing her to remove the jewellery while Neela folds her hands infront of her asking her to bare it for sometime. Avni finally gave up infront of her mother's constant requests.

In Khanna mansion, Neil dressed up in white kurta and pajama accompanied by yellow jacket.

Avni and Neela moved into the lawn of Parikh mansion where some of the Neela's friends and very close  relatives were invited. Avni sat on the chair and the ritual started. Neela came forward and applied haldi on Avni's cheeks, forehead, arms, feet and at last she rubbed her fingertip on Avni's nose making her giggle. The other ladies also applied her haldi while Neela was smiling after seeing her daughter getting a new life which will be full of happiness. After the ritual got over, Avni took a bath and Neela fed her breakfast lovingly.

At Khanna mansion, Neil was sitting in the lawn, his face was covered with  haldi while his family members were teasing him and he was blushing profusely. He saw Ali coming towards him and smiled widely. Ali was worried for Neil as he thought that he is marrying Riya.

Ali - Neil.

Bebe - Ali ! Finally you came. How was your trip ?

Ali - It was good.

Bebe - You also apply haldi on Neil's face.

Ali nods and rubs little amount of haldi on Neil's face.

Ali - I want to talk to you.

Neil - Even I want to talk to you, I am going for taking bath after that we will talk.

Ali nods and Neil left.

After sometime

Neil and Ali were sitting in Neil's room.

Ali - Neil, you are marrying Riya... ( Neil cuts him off )

Neil - No, my and Riya's marriage is cancelled. I got to know that Dayavanti Mehta is after our property that's why she was using Riya and this marriage.

Ali - Hold on ! If you aren't marrying Riya then this pre-wedding ritual. ( confused )

Neil - My marriage is taking place with Ananya.

Ali - What ? ( shocked )

Neil - Yes.

Neil narrated the entire truth to Ali while Ali was flabbergasted. He wasn't knowing how to react. He is having doubt on Ananya, he considers her as Avni but her pregnancy news have shocked him to the core.

Ali - Are you happy ?

Neil - I am. ( smiles )
