Feb 2009... debut series of a boy who in future will be known as... SIR JADEJA.

The happiest person on the debut of Ravindra Jadeja, nicknamed as Jaddu, was Virat Kohli. Their u19 WC together was enough for Virat to know that Jaddu is the best partner in crime he can ever find.

Jaddu announced his entry to the team by ringing the fire alarm and making the entire hotel run around in panic and assemble in the hotel lobby.

A Random woman ran out her room screaming in fear her face covered with a face pack. A man ran out dragging 2 heavy suitcases in trying to save them in case of fire.

Indian Cricket team assembled in the lobby too, looking almost decent, considering how leisure they were when they ran out of their rooms.

Except for Poor Rohit Sharma who was bathing ran out in a towel with soap foam all over his body and Yuvraj Singh who was middle of his haircut ran out with half-cut hair.

MS Dhoni, The captain, had to run upstairs again after checking over if his entire team is safe because he was sure Zaheer Khan, who sadly happens to be his friend too, would be still sleeping not giving a damn about the fire alarm.

Virat, worried about MS, looked around anxiously at the panicking crowd spotted Jadeja standing near the sofa with his language.

"Jaddu..." Virat screamed excited as he ran towards Jadeja.

"Wrong timing Jaddu. There is a fire in the hotel." Virat said anxiously.

"No... There is no fire," Jaddu said smiling as he hugged Virat.

"What do you mean by no... There Is..." Virat started and stopped as noticed Jaddu's notorious smile and his eyes shining with mischief. "You... You rang the bell..." Virat stated surprised.

Jaddu's grin widened. Virat looked around. Now that he knows that there is no fire everything looked so funny. Raina and Ishant clinging to Sachin Paaji, Yuvi Paa looking like a clown with his half-cut hair, Irfan Bhai almost climbing on Yusuf Patan, Mahi Bhai running all the way to back to 3rd floor to wake up Zak, Viru Paa complaining about something while Gauthi Bhai listened to it with most boring expression ever and Ro... Virat burst out laughing.

Ro was standing in the corner embarrassed trying to hide behind Ojha and Praveen Kumar. Virat took out his phone and clicked a few pictures of Ro for future use and push it back into his pocket.

"No...on second thoughts...we might need everyone's pictures, especially Yuvi Paa's" He muttered to Jaddu as he took out his phone again.

"This is amazing," He grinned at Jaddu as Jaddu give a proud laugh. MS came back with Zak and stood with the team glaring at Zak as Zak got an earful from Sachin.

Soon manager came and announced that there is no fire much to everyone's relief. Rohit almost ran to his room. Virat and Jaddu joined after Virat instructed Jaddu to not tell anyone about what he did.

After formal introductions, Jaddu moved to his room with Virat tagging along. And from then the only thing that excites them other than playing is pranking people. And Rohit Sharma became their obvious victim almost always.

Unlike Sonu and Ishant who roam around Sachin, MS and Zak, Rohit used to be with them giving so many chances for them. Jaddu went on and on about Jamnagar stories so much that at a point Rohit almost believed them.

A week after Jaddu joined the team...a normal boring practice session until Jaddu decided to enlighten Ro about 'Wonders of Jamnagar'. Virat was, of course, enjoying Ro's confused face.

"So that two taaaall buildings which move towards each other by an inch every year are magical. The day they met......*Boom* Is the end." Jaddu said convincingly to Ro.

"Oh really?" MS's said walking towards them with his Wicket-keeping gloves in his hand.

"Ha... Come to Jamnagar... I will show them." Jaddu continued with his act.

"Hmm... Let's see... Btw Jaddu... In Jamnagar is it normal to play with fire alarm?" He said as if he is thinking deeply.

Virat and Rohit exchanged a nervous glance as Jaddu looked stumped.

MS walked away as a teasing smile crept on his face seeing Jaddu out of words.

"You know? How?" Virat shouted excited as he ran behind MS. Now that Bhai knows already he has to boast about everything.

"He will know everything," Ro said to Jaddu signing but his voice did have a tint of admiration about.

"It's not something to admire about... IT IS SCARY." Jaddu wanted to say but instead, he wondered "But how? I covered my face from CCTV."

Things were pretty much the same as the months passed. Virat and Jaddu were behind Ro's life(and sleep). They gave tough competition for "Prankster Jodi of the team" Award which was unanimously owned by Yuvraj Singh-Harbajan Singh for years.

In T20's as Virat wasn't around Jaddu was bored, So his only work is Irritate Rohit Sharma. Also, prank everyone else when you get a chance. Raina, Ishant, Ojha were his obvious targets after Rohit Sharma.

MS did notice that Jaddu was different. A person for whom nothing matter or nothing can affect him much. MS thought it is normal because even he is a person who kinda doesn't like to show his emotions to the world except for his closest confidants.

Jaddu never got to prank MS. He and Virat tried once but MS got and trolled back Virat for a week. After that, he just used to laugh around but never tried to Prank MS. Reasons being
1) Virat never supported the Idea
2)Even he was scared of MS(Not that he says out But 24/7 he listens to Ro, Vi saying How Bhai is a superhero, how he can do anything, he knows everything that happens in the team, how even Yuvi Paa is scared of him etc.. so it did have an impact on him)

But neither did Jaddu found comfort in MS Unlike, Ro and Vi, who ran to MS for every existing and non-existing problem. MS Dhoni was his captain. Caption who is too smart and strict.

And MS...he conveniently assumed that Jaddu is too strong.

Out of Mahi's kiddo's, Jaddu became the first one to face criticism... World t20 2009... India lost aganist Eng and Jaddu was blamed...criticised. But Vi and Ro look more effected and concerned than Jaddu himself. Jaddu was just laughing, maybe laughing more than usual.

MS for the first time felt that things affect Jaddu too. Maybe more than he thought, more than Jaddu ever shows.

Many times he thought of talking to Jaddu but he never got a chance. It's was too difficult to have a normal conversation with Jaddu or it's just that 'Jaddu' was difficult.

Currently, MS was boarding the empty bus at the hotel. They were returning to India and he just came down early as he was done with Yuvi's nonsense... he needs some peace.

He finds someone already moving inside the bus, near Rohit's seat. He leans forward to see Jaddu. He was planting bubble gum on Rohit's seat (Because why not?).

MS decided not to interrupt and silently went back to the hotel to get something. After Jaddu was done with his work, he sat back in his seat waiting for Ro to arrive.

MS returned and sat beside Jaddu instead of his usual corner seat.

"You here?" Jaddu asked. MS just shrugged in response.

2 minutes later, Jaddu said some random unfunny thing and started laughing like a manic.

"Does Jaddu laugh and Prank more than usual when he is nervous? or upset?" MS wondered. "Because that is what he was doing since the match with England. Pranking everyone around, to the extent that everyone including Ro and Vi thought that losing, media, criticism didn't affect him a bit."

"Maybe that's exactly what he wants." A sudden thought struck MS.

"Jaddu... Jaddu listen..." MS said calmly as Jaddu didn't stop laughing even after Mahi's long confused stare.

"You know... It's okay to not score at times. It doesn't decide how good or bad you are..." MS spoke. Though it felt a little odd to have a serious conversation with laughing Jaddu, MS realized that there won't be any proper to talk to Jaddu. But he did hope that Jaddu won't say..."I know that."

And Jaddu didn't. he just looked on.

"I just wanted you to know...That I still believe in you. I still believe you are amazing... umm... maybe because you are... you are amazing Jaddu." He added smiling honestly.

Jaddu looked on a bit... Shocked. No one ever said to him that. Of course, they said it when he did well When he was hitting runs, taking wickets but not when he failed. Never when he failed.

Jaddu stared a good minute before he started smiling. Not the usual one with a naughty glint in it But a happy one straight from his heart smile.

MS for once realized that Jaddu is a 21-year-old kid too just like Ro, Vi. Indeed a different kinda kid but...a kid.

But before he could be say anything they heard Ro wailing loudly. Their manager who was used to this nonsense of the team asked the driver to started the bus ignoring Ro.

"Ahhhh... My Hair... Jadduuuuuuu... I will kill you." Ro screamed on top of his voice kneeling on his seat.

"Not me." Jaddu lied cooly. Surprising Jaddu wasn't in a mood to irritate Ro anymore. Well, talking with MS... It felt... Good.

Poor Ro believed because, apparently, Jaddu will boast about it if he does."But who? even Vi is not there. So who else?"Ro thought confused

MS raised his eyebrows at Jaddu with a challenging look. Jaddu just gave a smug smile.

"My hair...it won't goo now... I have to go bald..." Rohit screamed again.

"uff...Overdramatic idiot." MS signed shaking his head.

"I will be back." He said to Jaddu and walked towards Ro with his handbag to see Yuvi pulling his hair in the name of removing the bubble gum.

"Get out Yuvi." He snapped as he took out an ice pack from his bag. He took it from the hotel the moment he saw Jaddu planting the bubble gum. It melted a bit but will do the work.

"Why do you have the ice? You only put this gum here. didn't you?" Yuvi asked sounding extremely excited.

"Bhhhhaiiiiiii..... Not you too..."Ro winced trying to wail.

"Of course not. Go awayYuvi." he snapped again "And Ro, Turn around now. Let me clear this mess" he ordered.

MS started removing it with care while Ro went on complaining about how yuvi was removing his hair instead of gum.

Yuvi walked towards Jaddu. "It is wet... Water spilt." Jaddu lied.

He is sure that yuvi would sit there only If he said MS will be back and also he didn't want to tell that he was waiting for MS to be back.

The airport wasn't far. They reached the airport just as Ro's hair was clear And Then even in flight, Somehow, MS didn't talk to Jaddu.

Unknown to him, Jaddu who was waiting for him turned disappointed to angry to hurt and in the end all 3.

By the time they landed in India jaddu was back to 'I don't care mood'. He emptied entire coke on Sonu who went on complaining how he didn't have any washed t-shirt remaining until Sachin dragging him aside and gave his shirt.

Jaddu escaped and ran away MS, who tried to talk to him and left to Gujarat.

A/n: Hey Guys... i know it had been long. Bad Writer's block... As i wasn't in mood to write anything new... I decided to edit and publish stuff which i roughly wrote long back...
