Chapter Three ... The Voice Of R'aron
POV
The Scribe Of Adornia
The third chapter of our story finds us still in Boo and Eucalus's den, the Earthen Omega Nico continued to ask questions to Boo and their Hands, questions that he felt would aide in his quest to free himself from the rotted kingdom of Crescent. The men spoke for minutes more and then suddenly they all heard her voice, each of them sat up and sat still.
( I am here... listen carefully... all of you are where you should be, all that has occurred was meant to occur, each of you hold a destiny that was not fulfilled... In my time I will restore your truest selves... Until I call on you to move, be as you are commanded by your mates.)
None of the Omega spoke, for three of them hadn't heard this goddess in close to four years.
( Bara... remain doubtful as you are, for that resentment will aide you for what is to come... I implore you to reach inside you and find the part of you that can reach Nicolai's mind... he is faithful and willful, keep him level and he will lead you to your highest status. Your mate I'zol is very firm with you and when the tides shift you must be even firmer with him. Teach him what you feel inside and together you will lead armies. )
Bara wanted to lash out but he held himself back and kept his eyes on the Earthen Omega, who was he, who were they all. Bara wondered this, and so did Nico.
( Doram... your mate has an addiction to the feeling of release, this is fate teaching you of your past sins. Hold fast to him, he tries to fight his abandonment in the wrong ways, seeking comfort in the arms of others to try and remain the ever ruthless Alpha in front of you and his father... when I restore you and your tribe... when you return from the high mountains you will understand him and through your relationship two great battles will be won. )
Doram accepted what the goddess said, but inside he was at a war with his emotions... his Alpha, Suril, was always cheating on him, countless nights spent alone in their den, everyone knew of Suril's thirst for the whores in the brothels, male and female, and Doram despised them. Though he tried to be a sexual creature it didn't seem to be in him. He didn't like mating, he endured it. Which wasn't Suril's fault.
Though outwardly a pretty Omega, Doram didn't think he was, and he didn't feel comfortable in his skin. He hadn't always been pretty, being the son of a breeding farm slave turned blacksmith, he and Doram were raised in the upper Swamps, a twenty minute walk from the walls of the lower city. They were raised hard, taught to fight and drink, not be pretty and quiet. They were poorly bred, and he was always considered the uglier of the blacksmiths son. He bit his tongue and quieted his inner war.
( Sari... You were my most innocent creation, your mate shall come and he shall be a knight of honor in this kingdom, when you meet him, you must leave him... When you return to this kingdom as your whole self, trust this knight and you will see many hundreds of years with him, making this kingdom as it should be. )
Sari nodded and listened, he watched the faces of the other Omega, knowing they were hearing the same thing he was. He found it hard to think of rejecting his Alpha, but it seemed this was in some way meant to be. He would abide by her word, even if she had abandoned him.
( Nicolai, my faithful champion... keep yourself level headed, it was your impulsive fire that was used to bring Avif and his hounds to knee and you shall use it again... listen for my voice, for I will speak with you when you need my guidance in this kingdom, for now and until I restore you... Ignore your thirst for justice and follow your Alpha, learn to be a Crescent Omega and be good to the future king... learn for a time how to speak to his mind and soul. )
Nico thought about what she said, he didn't like the idea of putting aside his ideals of justice, but this new goddess had chosen him as a vessel and so he would obey her as he had Luna.
( Boo... your truest self is a force like none other, but I needed you to remember why Crescent is not a good place...Eucalus is what you need in this life, a part of you knows this... he is not inherently evil... he will change if you change him... when you feel brave enough, mark him as an Alpha does his Omega... be strong and know that your claiming was no more than a living and feeling example of what you will fight for. But remember even when you are restored, being powerful does not mean inducing fear in others. )
Her words made much sense and little sense, but he listened and committed her words to memory. Then silence lay over the room, her voice was faded and the vibrating sound returned. Each Omega wanted to speak, but before they could, Boo's door became intangible and in stormed Caros and Eucalus.
"Nicolai, what did you say to my Moterri?!" Caros growled, approaching his Omega while Bara, Sari and Doram gave their necks up and cast their eyes down. Nico had learned Moterri was a word for mother. Obviously the bitch queen had ratted him out to her shitty sons.
"I'm sure she's heard worst from your father... coming in here trying to explain your piece of shit brother rap...."
"Take your poorly bred mate and leave Caros, I don't want him corrupting my lio-oraa." Eucalus said, swooping in and stealing a kiss from his mate, leaving Boo blushing at the kiss and the new pet name which meant pretty boy.
"Calling me odd old timey sounding names like "poorly bred" will not hurt me... you conceited, arrogant, worthless pile of shit." Nicolai hissed. Caros picked the Omega up by the back of his neck like a kitten, and carried him grumbling under his breath about training him.
