Chapter One ... Off To Adornia
POV
The Scribe Of Adornia
Hello. My name is, Zahon, it means Wise-one in old Adornish. I have written down many tales in my life, especially about the world in which I now reside.
Before I came to Adornia I was from Ba'ate and I was called C-Clyde... My apologies, I forget that I must write as if you, the reader, have no idea what Adornia is, I can't use a certain language, without an explanation... Again my apologies.
Ba'ate is earth, it's the old name given by the three One-Gods. I was a writer, maybe eight hundred years ago, at least for me that's how long it's been. On earth, only a few years have passed. Time in Adornia is a funny thing, uncontrolled, untamed, but that does not matter at this time. A story for another hour. Put it out of your mind and allow me to tell you a story from my world.
A world of ma'jekil-(Energetical) creatures, a world where kings and queens, lords, ladies, and knights still exist and sprites fly free in open fields of green. Faries dance around summer fires, elves roam the high plains, and dwarves work their power over the stones.
The story I'm about to tell is happening, has happened, and will happen ... Time in my world is strange. Our story starts on Ba'ate-(Earth), we find ourselves meeting our first protagonist, Nicolai. Nicolai is, was, and will be a werewolf. Now don't find that strange, these things exist, these things we call fantasy and fairytale.
New Orleans is crawling with werewolves, Vampyre's and witches, and faery and ghost run amock in New Jersey, Delaware, and Pennsylvania. Nicolai lived in a small pack community of werewolves, he was born an Omega, an Omega being a male werewolf with a female wolf, weird but true. These fragile creatures are born with the ability to be impregnated, their offspring being some of the strongest Alphas and the most fertile Omegas.
Nico grew to be what many considered a pretty Omega, he had the right looks, the naturally seductive gaze, piercing eyes, a body with hips made for childbearing, and a derriere most of his more dominant pack mates drooled over. He had the scent to drive any guy wild, but not the attitude. He was special, born a prophet of the moon goddess.
Nicolai took the job seriously, when the moon who Earthen wolves call Luna, gave him a message or a warning, he followed. He was held in high regard, every prophet of the moon is an Omega but not every Omega is a prophet. His pack was small and they cherished their gift. It didn't hurt that his father was the Alpha, a term that should be self-explanatory.
Well on one particular day, just any day, Nicolai woke up to his father yelling for him to come downstairs. Being respectful, he sighed... He wondered why he still lived at home, even though he was twenty-five and didn't have to. But really what was the point in leaving, to go where... A few miles south on pack land? It was too much work and privately Nico was, is, and will be extremely lazy.
He walked downstairs, he was shirtless and barefoot wearing only a pair of worn pajama bottoms, they hung low on his hips, revealing some of the only hair on his body, the trail from his belly button to inside his worn bottoms. His father was found in the kitchen, along with his mother and a man he'd never met before. With them was the pack Elder, an old woman with extremely long and stringy gray hair.
"Good morning, Nico this is the Alpha Prince of Crescent, Caros this is the prophet I was telling you about." The old lady introduced the two men. The Omega was shocked but not impressed. He was shocked by the very size of the man, he was taller than any Alpha Nico had ever seen, Caros was at least eight and a half feet tall. He was also muscular and had an aura of immense power. He was also handsome. With his combed hair low to his head, his searing eyes, and his strong jawline.
Caros was impressed by the Omega, but that only lasted for a few seconds, before he was forced to look away out of fear of losing control around the Earthen wolf. He knew instantly that they were fated and destined mates, Nico felt the gentle pull as well. Nico wasn't certain how he felt about it, but Caros was. "It would appear we are mates, Daniel, your son is my fated mate. I have several more packs to see to before I return home. Please have my mate ready when I return in two weeks." Caros said this, he said it in the way a king gives an order.
He had the authority to demand such a thing, but Nico wouldn't stand for it.
"I'm not going anywhere with you... I don't know you." Nico said, and the Alpha turned on him. His eyes faded to a deep pitch black and a growl building in his chest. He walked forward, Nico retreating with each step Caros took. "Never raise your voice at me. And have your goodbyes said by the time I return." Caros snarled, turning and storming out of the kitchen, being closely followed by the pack Elder.
Nico was shaking, he was scared, he was angry, and somehow those two things led to tears. And then his mother was crying, while his father was left to stand there, begging them to stop crying. Telling them that it was a great thing, of course, Nico's mother knew different. She had a secret.

The day came that the pack Elder came knocking, with her was the Alpha and with him were two guards. Nicolai's father yelled out a quick "Come in." And the front door to the modest house opened. The Elder and the obscenely large man followed their noses to the kitchen and found the little family eating dinner.
"Evening Alpha, Nicolai, the prince is here to take you off to the other world." The wise women said- as if it was some sort of blessing.
Nicolai said nothing, he sat there making the untouched peas on his plate dance, his fork poking at them. "Maria, Nico..." His father was tired, they were both still ignoring him, mad he couldn't stop his son from being destined to the Adornian prince. Nico was trying in his head to hear his goddess, but for the first time in his life, she was silent. More like a bothersome vibrating sound, but no soft voice, no guiding hand.
"They aren't speaking to me, ignoring us," Daniel said, and the Prince laughed. He bent his head stepping under the doorway and entering the kitchen.
"Omega... Let's go... You will walk, or I will carry you." Caros warned.
"Nicolai, baby, it's time," Maria said to her son, looking across the table, tears shining in her eyes. Nicolai, pushed back from the table, standing.
"My bags are at the door, could you carry them?" He asked the Prince.
"No, I have people for that?" Caros said, and Nico heard a bit of some foreign accent, but it wasn't one he was sure he ever heard before.
"Say goodbye, we have a portal waiting," Caros said, walking out of the kitchen.
"Mommy," Nico said, walking around and hugging her. She held onto him, smelling his hair, trapping his scent in her memory.
"Can I have a hug, Nic?" Daniel asked, and Nico hugged his father. The forty-year-old man, held onto his son, memories of Nico's whole life playing over in his mind.
"You be sure to write, I'm sure there's some magic way to get a letter to us," Daniel said to a nodding Nico.
"Remember what I said, time is strange there, a few days here can be weeks there," Maria said, kissing her son.
Three hugs later he was at the front door, the prince and his guards waited, the guards holding his suitcases. Out the door and down the lawn the four people walked. Under the night sky, Nico thought about running. He was the fastest member in his pack, but as soon he had the thought, the prince leaned over and whispered. "If you run, I'll catch you and break your legs. Do not test my patience." Nico thought Caros sounded French, but rougher like a harder broken version of the French accent.
"Calm down, goddess what is your problem... Are you one of those Alpha's who thinks they have the right to rule over their Omega?" Nico asked.
"You're mine to do with whatever I please, and I think you better come to understand that quickly." Caros said, making Nico roll his eyes.
"Hello, my name is..."
"Don't speak to them, they are to be always vigilant." Caros shot, cutting him off and stopping him from speaking to the hooded men who were carrying his suitcases. Nico huffed.
"You are really outrageous, they can't say hello?" Nico asked, and one of the men laughed, failing to silence it in time.
"Here is far enough, open the portal," Caros demanded. The group stopped walking, standing in the middle of a field. Nico watched as the guard who laughed, raised his right hand and a dark onyx ring shone on his index finger. Before their eyes, the air rippled, it rippled like the surface of disturbed water. Caros gripped his mate tightly and walked through the rippling.
Nico felt as if he'd been torn apart and quickly sewn back together. He inhaled sharply from the lack of air, and open his squeezed shut eyes. Rapidly he blinked, unbelieving of what he saw
They were standing high up on a mountain, the air was thin and cold, in front of them was the castle of Crescent. It was thousands of years old, built from the stone of the mountain itself. On either side of the castle were mountains which made the place impenetrable. Behind them was a long dirt roadway, it led down into the valleys. The sky was clouded but through the clouds, Nico could see three low-hanging suns. And off some ways, there were three moons.
From where Nico stood he could look down into the valley, he could see a village, it was like a small city if cities were full of ma'jek. Past that he could just see the beginnings of what looked like endless fields. The mountains in the valley gave the kingdom its name, together they gave the valley the shape of a crescent mapno-(moon).
Nico was yanked from his sightseeing by wetness that splattered his face, he blinked and watched as Caros pulled his hand from inside the guard who'd laughed. The man fell dead right there before his eyes, Caros smirked at Nico. "His death is on your hands. Have my omega's things taken to my chambers." Caros demanded of the other guard, who didn't seem fazed by the killing. Nico had seen death before but not without a real cause. "Have someone come to collect the body. Nicolai, come," Caros called.

What comes next in our story is an onslaught of tragedy. Caros and Nico entered the castle, guards in shining armor stood at the two great entrance doors, they were also posted all over the building, standing on towers and low vantage points. Nico was shaken, splatters of blood still clung to his face, he walked behind Caros, realizing how serious his situation was. They stood in a grand hallway, ahead was a staircase like something out of a childhood fairytale.
A balcony was high above the stairs, there was furniture around, chairs that had long backs and low seats, some others had short backs and high seats. Everything was covered in silver and purple fabric, fabric that moved like the rippling surface of some water, it was even wet to the touch, yet dry when you weren't touching it. "Korma!-(Brother!)." A voice yelled out, it was deep and powerful, it scared Nico.
"Calm yourself, it's only my brother," Caros said, and sure enough there on the stone balcony stood another behemoth man.
Nico thought he was only a little less handsome than Caros, and once he watched the giant jump down from about four stories and land perfectly in front of the stairs, he knew he was just as untamed and aggressive as Caros.
"Korma. N'nuku og la nimo no na hamen-(Brother. Why do you speak in such tongues?)." The brother asked something in their language and Caros responded in Adornish, both of them leaving Nico in confusion.
Then the brother's attention fell on Nicolai, he walked towards him and stood way taller than Nico, and only a few inches shorter than Caros. He was handsome with the same rich brown hair and intense gaze. His eyes kept rapidly changing, he and Caros were full-blooded werewolves, they looked human, but there was no human in them, their wolves were completely untamed.
"Nicolai, this is my brother, Eucalus," Caros said.
And the giant stood tall and shirtless, barefoot and wearing a pair of shorts made from the same rippling wet-dry material as the furniture.
"Eucalus? What does that mean?" Nico asked, and rather than explain how it was an old name that originated in the faery kingdom of Ion-Mors, Eucalus, puffed out his strong chest and ignored the Omega.
"Brother, you must train him, Fapor and Moterri-(Father and Mother) are on the Higar tower, meeting my Omega," Eucalus said.
"I'popo!- (Congratulations!)," Caros said excitedly hugging his brother.
Nico assumed Fapor and Moterri were their mother and father, but he was more concerned with Eucalus telling Caros to train him. "What the hell did he mean by training me?!" Nico shouted.
"Eu, m'ana so soli-(Eu, give me some time?)," Caros said, he watched his brother jump back up to the balcony, landing and walking off. Then he turned on Nico, a hard snarl ripping from his throat.
"You will watch your tone with me, Eu is right, you need to be trained," Caros growled, his eyes flashing black than brown, then black again.
"I'm not a child, I will not play the part of quiet Omega, I'm a prophet and I have to speak out," Nico said.
"Prophets are abundant in this castle, and in this castle, I am your Alpha, you are my responsibility. I understand you're of poor breeding, but you will learn obedience and respect." Caros thundered.
"Screw you." Nico hissed, and Caros growled yanking Nico into his arms and over his shoulder. He carried him up the stairs, then up another and three more after. Nico didn't even notice the silent indoor waterfall. Suddenly Caros stopped, he planted Nico down firmly on the ground.
"Listen to me, Omega." Caros began only for Nico to make a hard sound at the term.
"My name is Nicolai." He demanded.
"I may be the prince, and you may be my Omega, but you are about to meet the King and shortly thereafter the royal powers. These men are from the old ways, mind your tongue... Or they will take it." Caros warned, and Nico internally cried out for Luna. Of course, in return, there was that annoying static. Nico had no way of knowing that the moon goddess he loved and served didn't dwell in the world of Adornia. No, he would soon understand Luna to be gone. He was scared, he was alone, but also, Nicolai was, is, and will be defiant.

Our story continues atop a high castle tower, overlooking the back of the castle, past stables, and barns. Pass a grove of trees that hid the Ni-tal-(Healing) waters. It looked over the waters beyond the castle that led out into the Boiling Sea. There we again meet up with our protagonist, Nico, and a second protagonist... More like another key player, also we meet our first antagonist.
Though I'm confident, that by the end of this first chapter many will call both Caros and Eucalus antagonist-maybe something worse. Is the term Dickhead still popular on Ba'ate?-(Earth)... Never mind.
Atop the Higar tower high in the west wing of the castle, there stood a man who was as tall as his sons. He had white hair with some color still left to it, there were wrinkles only on his forehead, and he was still very much attractive, built sturdy, and rolling with muscle. Nico first took notice of the full moon tattoo on the king's arm.
Nico believed if not for his extreme distaste for his situation, he would have gotten a huge daddy vibe from the king, his mate's father. The mother stood quietly beside her husband, her eyes cast down, head bowed. Eucalus stood beside his father, talking animatedly with him about his Omega. They were speaking in their native tongue, so Nico didn't understand a word. He did understand the look of oppression on the queen's face, her entire being screamed broken.
Nico said nothing as he looked at the boy who was Eucalus's mate, he was frail and thin and looked very much like a girl. Even for an Omega, he was delicate and for some odd reason, this made Nico feel very protective. The other Omega stood just as shirtless as the king and Eucalus, he had long blonde hair, it had a wet look to it.
While watching the boy, Nico heard a voice. He thought it was Luna and inside his mind, he called the voice by his goddess's name.
(No, my name is R'aron... I am your goddess. I created your soul, the earth goddess simply guarded your flesh... Heed me, stay silent and follow Caros's orders... His soul is kind, but he is without power... The king... Avif and his men are the true hurt of this once great kingdom. Watch out for the one called Boo-(Gentle), he will need your faith) The voice was gone and the buzzing returned.
"Brother, bring your Omega to meet Fapor!" Eucalus yelled speaking in the rough accented version of English, obviously, for Nico's benefit. Caros gave Nico a pointed look as if warning him. But he didn't need to worry, he had heard the voice of a new goddess; one he felt was truthful in her speech, so he planned to be silent. Behave.
Caros was shocked when Nico followed him and even bowed to his father. "Fapor, this is my Omega, he is from Ba'ate... His name is Nicolai." Caros said. "Ahh, he is... Lomoma-(A rare beauty/beautiful)." The king said, and Nico smiled. "Surely he will look even better beneath you during his claiming. Eucalus has decided to perform the claiming of his Omega, Boo-(Gentle), tonight. Will you join him?" The king asked. Nico wanted to scream out. If a claiming was what it sounded like, he certainly wasn't ready for that. Luckily, Caros wasn't much like his father or brother, he wasn't much like any of the Alphas of the royal tribes.
"I would ask for time to get to know my Omega," Caros said. The king scoffed saying something in his musical-sounding home language. "I will grant you a full moon cycle, then you will claim him and take your place on the throne." Said the king, all the while the queen with her blonde ringlets and defeated energy said nothing.
Some moments after that the group disbanded, Boo and Nico catching each other's eyes, neither saying a word. After the meeting, Nico was taken to Caros's chambers. The room was much like a castle bedroom during medieval times. A four-poster bed, giant wardrobes, two open windows that looked out into the kingdom. In the middle of the circular room, there was a hole that looked to be used for bathing. Nico spotted his bags in one corner and raced over to them.
"You can wear those garments in this room, tomorrow I will have the garment maker come and you will be dressed like a royal. Also as you heard, my brother is performing his claiming tonight... As such you will eat dinner here, and I will be attending the ceremony." Caros said, to which Nico shrugged. "What happens at a claiming ceremony?" Nico asked.
"An Alpha claims their destined mate. But you don't need to concern yourself with that. I have some things to see before the ceremony... Look around, get used to our den. Dinner will be brought to you, the bathing yalut-(A small pond/tub) is ma'jek-(energy) it will fill and heat at your command. I will see you after the ceremony when you awake in the morning." Caros said, walking out without another word.
Nico wanted to cry, he was right on the verge. He walked over to one of the open stone carved windows, he looked out. Three moons hung in the sky, he was unsure of which one spoke to him, but he prayed for strength hoping the new goddess would grant it.

The next part of our story brings us closer, closer to the darker side of the wicked Crescent Kingdom. You may not want to learn of what has, is, and will happen next, but I must tell the story as it happened. That very night after eating a strange yet delicious meal of odd meats and odder fruits, Nico fell asleep. He slept soundly in the candlelit room, but not for long. He was awoken by the sounds of loud howls, drunken shouts, and the unmistakable sound of some sort of drum.
Being defiant and curious, Nico climbed out of the goliath bed and left out of the room. He'd taken a bath in the magic tub after dinner, he'd scrubbed himself with what looked like a flowerhead. The thing once wet released a minty-smelling jell. So Nico was roaming the castle halls smelling of mint and wearing his pajamas. His crop top black T and worn pajama bottoms. He could smell meat, and a strong alcohol scent, it wasn't like any alcohol he knew, it burned in the air, scolding his senses.
The drumbeat was loud and fast. The castle was mostly dark, lit in small areas by candles that burned without wicks. Pale yellow light kept shadows dancing on the walls, still on Nico walked, following the sounds. Until finally, he stood in front of a big door, it was a heavy door, it took some doing before Nico was able to crack it open. Nico peeked into the room, it was big and circular, looking up Nico found it was a room without a ceiling, and one of the lights of the moons fell into it. The room was bright, and Alphas coated the room in a heavily masculine scent.
Caros stood off somewhere in the back of the room, he was watching the other Alphas, watching his father drink large amounts of wollow-(alcohol made from wallow berries) it was, is, and will be the only thing strong enough to get the northern wolves drunk. If Caros thought hard he could remember his first Claiming ceremony, he was only one hundred and seventy at the time, had he been on earth no more the eighteen-Eucalus was only two years younger and was more excited than Caros.
That night, his father had practically force-fed him wollow until his head was spinning. Then he was forced to watch as his father's first knight... A man, his uncle, brought in his mate, a very pretty woman from the fields of Bas'ia-(Fertile land). The Alphas howled and made dirty comments, as his uncle, Gamlek, ripped off the women's garments. She screamed, pleading for Gamlek to stop, she tried to cover herself but still, it happened.
And here Caros found himself again, another one hundred and ninety-seven years later, at yet another ceremony. He no longer drank at the ceremonies, he simply faded into the background, behind the stone tables on which the gilos-(players of the Gill) played their Gill's-(An instrument like a drum) he stayed where no one could see him.
Where no one would talk to him, or think him strange for not yelling out lewd phrases and laughing at what was sex against someone's will, what Adornians call... Hydol-(Virtue stealing)
Caros was barely present, burying himself deep inside his own head, as the drums slowed and his brother entered the middle of the room, where the full moon, the oldest moon, Yopus, shined down into the room. Alphas cheered for Eucalus, his father Avif, and his men, Caros's friends cheered for Eucalus, the very men who would become Caros's knights. How could he ever change such an outdated tradition, when even the Alphas of the council and the lordships were so for it.
He was about to look away when Eucalus cast off his covering, revealing his nakedness to the room without shame, clearly with pride. Caros was about to look away when Boo was brought into the room, the frail farmer's son was from Bas'ia-(Fertile land) he could be no more than two hundred and twenty, roughly Nico's age in Earth years.
He definitely would have looked away when Eucalus snatched off Boo's covering, exposing his little manhood to the peering, lustful eyes of the room, but he caught sight of his own Omega entering the room. Nico walked into the circular space, no longer worrying about the goddess's warning. He was filled with fear and rage, as he watched Boo be tossed into the middle of the room and stripped naked. He intended to stop it, he aimed to help the Omega, but as he reached him he was yanked back against a hard surface. He fought against powerful hands.
Looking back he saw it was Caros, he fought harder, especially as he watched the Alphas, as he listened to growing chants of Eucalus's name. He watched Boo cover himself with his hands, only for Eucalus to rip his hands away. Boo rambled in Adornish, but Nico knew he was pleading, begging his mate not to do what anyone could see he was about to do.
"Please! Please! Stop them, make them stop!" Nico begged of his princely mate. The prince was silent, he simply held his mate, he knew moving him would mean trying to hold onto him and at that moment, Caros wasn't certain he could contain his thrashing Omega. Nico screamed out when Eucalus who had pushed Boo to the ground, got down on his knees. He screamed out louder when Boo screamed, during his claiming, through his pain Boo saw Nico struggle, he saw him scream and cry with him.
And Nico never looked away, he felt like it would have been a betrayal... So he cried with him, screamed for him. He watched with an endless flow of tears, watched until he went limp in Caros's arms, watched until Eucalus jabbed his canines into Boo's shoulder, forcing the boy from Bas'ia to release on the ground. The drummers stopped playing, and the drunken crowd cheered for Eucalus, even as they exited. Eucalus kissed Boo's shoulder, dislodged himself, grabbed his covering, and left with the crowd.
Finally, Caros released a hiccuping Nico, who crawled over to Boo and cradled the poor boy, pulling his sweaty head in his lap. "I-I'm so sorry... So sorry... So sorry." Nico cried rocking the sweaty Omega. Caros couldn't look at his sobbing mate, it hurt to know he couldn't stop it, he failed his new mate. So he slunk away, leaving the room to find the other Alphas. Leaving Nico rocking a sobbing, Boo.
Some minutes later the doors opened and three people walked in, these people are our last protagonists. But at that moment Nico saw them as threats to Boo, and he growled harshly, canines flashing and his nails growing. "Relax, we are here to aid the new Bola-(consort of a royal/princess)." A husky voice said. Nico relaxed as their feminine/masculine Omega scents filled his nose. "P-please stay." Boo whimpered in a softer version on that rough almost french accent. "I will," Nico promised, watching and allowing the three men to remove Boo from him.
He followed them into a smaller room, it was set off in a corner right outside of the door. Inside candles were everywhere, they lit the room and filled it with thick smoke. It smelled like a hospital and Nico wondered if the smoke was a cleaning agent. The men laid Boo on the bed, and he groaned in pain. The tallest Omega was light-skinned and covered in freckles, he had reddish hair, that hung down in tight ringlets.
He barked out orders in Adornish and the other two, one a man with short red hair and just as many freckles, as the tallest one.
And the other an angry-looking Omega with an extremely strong build.
They worked on Boo, who screamed when the tallest Omega, dipped his finger in a bowl of dark blue liquid and inserted it inside his already torn anus. "Goddess! Fucking do something!" Nico shouted at the men. "He has multiple tears, we need Pol'polk-(Liquid stitches/weaverblood)." The tallest said, and the mean Omega handed him a corked jar, filled with a purple liquid that was filled with floating flower heads.
"Help us hold him, your Highness." The tall one said, and Nico moved over to hold Boo's shoulder as they fed Boo the Pol'polk. Instantly after swallowing Boo started to thrash and kick. Shaking and trembling, foaming at the mouth. Then it stopped and he started to inhale and exhale evenly. His eyes closed and he relaxed.
"He raped him, and they-they were all cheering him on," Nico said, his disbelief finally setting in.
"I am Bara, this is my brother Doram and that is Sari." The tallest said, pointing to the other freckled man and then the mean one. "Sari and I will be your Hands once you are claimed by the future king, Doram is Bola-(consort of a royal/queen) Boo's Hand," Bara said. "What the hell is a Hand?" Nico asked. "A helper of sorts," Bara answered. "Have any of you been?..." Nico didn't know how to ask such a question. "Doram and I have been claimed, but not Sari," Bara answered.
"I can't stay here, these wolves... Alphas, they aren't like my Alphas... They're meaner, uncontrolled... Disgusting. I have to find a way out of here." Nico cried, hot tears burning his eyes.
"Don't... My mother once ran from my father... He broke his legs twice. There is no way out... Learn to be obedient." Sari said.
"No, I have to believe this is happening for a reason, I heard her... I'm a prophet and I heard this voice... A goddess who called herself R'aron." Nico said and the three men looked at each other.
"What?" Nico asked.
"She is of little help, we too are prophets, and here we are. She spoke to you?" Bara asked.
"Yes?" Nico answered.
"She deserted me the moment I came to this castle if you run and get caught it will be on your head," Bara said, before standing and leaving the room.
"Take no offense to my brother. But believe us, running will bring you pain like you can't imagine... Caros is different than the other Alphas. Respect him and I believe he will keep you safe." Doram said, leaving after his brother.
"Never show your mate your weakness, you may be an Omega but you can still have pride," Sari said. He walked out and Nico went over to Boo.
He sat in the bed next to him, and after some time Boo began to weep softly. "She abandoned me... Don't trust R'aron... Sh-she will leave you." Boo warned.
"Shhhh... Just rest... Rest and let me think, I'll figure something out. And Boo... I'm here for you." Nico said, feeling a connection to the other Omega.

The morning found Boo and Nico asleep, Nico holding Boo protectively. Caros and Eucalus stood over their mates. Boo was picked up by Eucalus and carried off. Nico woke up snarling a sound Caros found adorable. "Calm yourself Omega." He commanded, and Nico stood up.
He tried to slap Caros, but the Alpha was faster and he grabbed his hand. "Get off me! You should be ashamed of yourself, you're supposed to be a future king... And you let your brother rape his mate! Get off of me!" Nico shouted. Caros growled and pushed Nico back into the fluff of furs and spider silk sheets on the bed.
"Be angry, yell at me, do whatever you need to do! But none of that will change anything. These are traditions that go back to the beginning of this kingdom. You just be glad it wasn't our ceremony." Caros spat. Nico rolled his eyes but said nothing.
It is here that we will stop our story, we will begin again in the second chapter, where we will find Nico and our story two weeks after Boo's Hydol-(Virtue Stealing)
