Haechan missed the salt against his skin, the corals, the endless voyages under water. Jungwoo, His Mommy, His Daddy, His only brother and his sisters. Of course Mark was great, he liked being around the human alot, but he was withering and his shine was fading. No sea fish could survive for long in fresh water. He looked through the window at the vast sea, suddenly he wasnt sure of ever going back home. He felt orphaned as his heart was broken. He wanted his mother so badly he often woke up screaming looking for the bunny like mermaid. Little did he know on the very oceans where the mother lost his baby, Doyoung heard his little ones hushed cries, that were fading as days passed by. Haechan started crying and warm arms wrapped around his bare body tightly.

"I promise I'll take you home Haechan." Mark whispered his arms caressing the smooth skin with pure affection.

"M-Mark.......Me want the sea." Haechan bit his lips, but both of them knew it was risky.

"I'll take you at midnight." Mark whispered but Haechan pouted his purple orbs quivering.

"W-What if Haechannie got caught?" The Mermaid started panting and Mark knew he was away from the sea for too long. It had been almost like a month, he need the salty water.

"I'll save you no matter what." Mark whispered.

That night after every soul in town fell asleep, Mark carried his mermaid down to where he was found. Haechan was so delighted to feel the water against his system as he plunged right into the nights chilly waters. He swam fast and skillfully as he shot up from beneath swirling around as tiny sprinkles of water flew by. Such a beautiful sight caught Mark off guard he smiled.

"Markie wanna come?" Haechan swam right infront of the older boy.

"I cant breath under water baby." Mark chuckled but the Mermaid made puppy eyes so he gave in. Removing his shirt he tossed it onto a rock and jumped into the ice cold waters.

Haechan squealed grabbing Marks arm, swimming right under the dark yet lightened waters. The human could sense how fast the mermaid was, he was like lightening and the shimmer and glow were immediately back on his flawless gorgeous body. They popped up as Mark gasped for breath but chuckled right after.

Their eyes locked, something ignited and their souls unconciously synced, the mermaid was unknowingly sharing his soul with the human. He didnt know why, neither did both of them, sharing your soul was simething meant to be done with your significant other.

"Haechan we need to get you home before anyone see's you." Mark whispered breaking the eye contact.

But they couldnt swim any closer as the blinking of the flash lights drew them farther into the ocean. It was probably Johnny with his search party. Mark could see the tall sleek mad sitting on a rock with his long limbs apart and his veiny arm running through his dark hair. He was angry and his flash light was heading their way. Pulling Haechan down under the water the older boy swam lower, trying his hardest to hold his breath longer. When Mark popped up slowly there wasnt anyone but he still gestured the mermaid to swim behind a rock for safety.

"Markie dont go." Haechan pouted his purple eyes glowing under the moon light.

"I wont. But I'm not sure if its still safe for us to go. Listen. Swim close behind me and the moment I step on the shore jump onto me and I'll run. Got it?" Mark ordered and the innocent mermaid nodded swimming behind the human.

The older walked onto the shore, grabbed his tshirt then turned to the water as Haechan pounced on him and the next minute he wore his slippers and ran off faster than an eel. They were lucky that Johnny and his men had walked really far from where they ran so they heard nothing at all.

"Markie is Haechannie heavy?" Haechan pouted when he was placed on the bathtub.

"No baba. Not at all." Mark smiled softly caressing Haechans chubby cheeks.

"Is Haechannie a burden?" The mermaids eyes glittered with tears his lips forming into big pout.

"Never! You would never sweety." The red head squished his fishy's cheeks as he stood up to go shover.

Mark showered with his boxer on since he didnt want Haechan to stare at his dick thinking it was something out of a fantasy. The mermaid was upset, he stretched his arms pleading for the human to carry him.

"Whats wrong Haechannie?" The red haired boy lifted the gorgeous mermaid like a bride.

"Me miss homey." The beauty pouted crying into Marks neck.

"Just a few days more baby Hae. I'll take you to Jeju." The older whispered hugging the mermaid.

"Will you come with Haechannie?" Haechan whispered when he was placed in the bathtub again.

"Chenle will! So he could see if his parents were still alive! You'll be happy and free again." Cheerfully chuckled Mark going to dress.

Johnny smirked when he found tiny crystals on a pathway that leads to another part of a secluded portion of the rocks. The Mermaid must have been crying for days if so many crystals were here.

"The mermaid should have been found by someone. There is noway she could swim her way back home. Search the houses!" Johnny ordered leaving in his expensive SUV.

Mark fed Haechan cereal and the fishy loved it. He ate it rather noisely but the human found it cute as ever. The older had to wipe the fishys lips from time to time. He stared at the deep belly button and chuckled making Haechan frown.

"Why Markie Laugh?" The mermaid tilted his head.

"Nah I just found out mermaids pee and poop from their belly button." Mark started laughing but the Mermaid covered his pretty deep belly button with a cute glare.

"C-Cebause me have tail. It dirty. Ugly." Haechan started sniffling.

"I find it beautiful and distracting." Mark connected their foreheads as his arms caressed the boys tiny waist his thumb digging deep inside the button absent mindedly.
