Something felt lost when Mark gave the last hug to his brother so they could leave. He felt like his insides were burning. Taeyong looked so upset he had no strength to even swim by himself that Jaehyun had to guide him. The merman having been the mermaid Taeyong had once seen when he was a child himself. Waving and bowing at the King and Queen he swam up following Johnny and Jisung along with Ten who wanted to see the world again. Jaemin was a merbaby that giggled around Jisung and enjoyed his presence. But Mark Lee kept looking back, he wanted to see his mermaid one last time before they went their seperate ways. But for no avail.

"Whats wrong Mark?" Ten who shifted on the ship seemed to limb a little as he had lost a fin on his real self.

"It.....I dont know. I feel empty. It feels like I'm leaving a piece of my heart and soul behind." Whispered Mark his eyes filling with tears. He felt lonely. He suddenly wanted Haechan to be with him. Forever.

Haechan threw himself on his bed where his Markie had been asleep for two days. He didnt know why but his heart hurt and he was crying so bad. He missed Mark already that he felt lonely and wanted to swim as fast as he could into Marks arms. His Markie. He wanted the human to be selfishly his and only his.

"Hyuckie baby hush its going to alright. You'll eventually learn to forget. Or perhaps he'll be your favorite memory." Irene ran her fingers through his purple hair but he only cried louder and louder.

Meanwhile Mark kept mumbling to himself, he didnt want to leave, he wiped a tear that rolled down his cheek, Jisung squeezed his arm as he smiled at the older. Mark stood up, not thinking about the ship sailing away, he jumped into the water, as he swam the way he felt he had come. Haehans ears perked up, his purple orbs filling with happiness. He turned around, swimming as fast as his gorgeous tail and fins could take him. Taeil frowned at his merbaby's actions as all the six siblings, cousins and Doyoung came to see what the comotion was about. Chenle giggled to himself. About time.

"Honey he's gone." Joy whispered worried for her baby brother.

Haechan burst out crying, his instints about Mark were never wrong but there was no sign of the older. He was just being delusional. Yet, His heart knew its partner all too well. The red haired human came swimming really fast as the merman swam closer, throwing himself on the boy and hugged him tight.

"M-Markie!!!" Haechan pouted his eyes filling with tears.

Arms cradled the chubby cheeks, as their eyes darted from one eye to another. The moment Mark kissed Haechan on the lips, giving the sea creature the shock of his life. He shyly kissed back, his webbed arms holding the older boys shirt. It wasnt very long when Mark pulled away.

"I love you Haechan. I know I never believed in you but the moment I saw you I did. I really dont realize how I fell for you, when and where but I cant live without you baby Hae. I want to be selfish and have you all to myself. I dont care who you are, What you are, Whether you can shift or not I love you and please Come with me." Mark was crying even under the cpld ocean beds. Yeri, Joy and Wendy hugged Doyoung crying.

"I love you too Mark." Said Haechan shyly, wrapping his arms around the olders neck as he blushed really dark. They stared at each other now inching closer with consent. The mermaid bit his lips when Mark held his bare waist tightly, he wrapped his tail around the boys waist as it came around and his fins covered their faces from the merpeople watching.

Their lips touched really slow, with so much undeniable love it felt magical. Marks arms caressed the mermaids flanks in pure affection as they pulled away connecting their foreheads.

"I'm sorry but I really dont want to let Haechan go. He's was missing and we missed him so much. I promise that when I come to leave your brother and Lele back home I'll bring along your merbaby too. But he's too young for sex." Jaehyun was smacked on the head by Irene for speaking about sex.

"Will you wait for me Markie? Dont look at anyone! Pinky swear that you are Haechannie's?" Haechan shyly bounced in Marks arms.

"Yes. Pinky swear I'm all yours." Whispered Mark.

When Mark returned to awaiting ship he had on a purplish glow across his body. He looked extremely well and happy. Suddenly someone jumped smooching him on the cheek as Haechan plunged back pulling himself on a rock and waved at them. Mark chuckled winking at the beauty and Jaemin squealed showing Haechan his feet.

"Bye guys!!!" Haechan waved as the ship sailed away. Mark stared at his lover for hours until he was completely out of sight. He missed him so much already. He wished and hoped for Haechan to return someday. The sun necklace no longer the mermaids possession, it hung around the humans neck.

"Confessed?" Jisung chuckled at the boy smiling to himself.

"Yes. But I miss him so much." Mark whispered.

"I miss Lele too but I know he misses me more so he'll come back. Haechan would too. Let them be with family until they feel full and content. Hmm?" Said Jisung patting Marks shoulder. Jaemin waddled about adorably as he spoke of many things. Sea secrets and silly things he does. Mark and Jisung looked behind as they left the seas that beheld their loved ones. The sea creatures that owned a a very huge part of their hearts and souls. Their partners for eternity.
"Markie I love you." Whispered Haechan as he plunged back into the waters and disappeared beneath the blue oceans.
