"Eat up now! Mark would be back soon." Chenle sighed at the pouting Merbaby who refused to eat anything until his Markie comes home from University.

"Mark would be here soon darling. He would be upset if he knew his Baby Hae ate nothing." Taeyong patted the mermaids chubby full cheeks.

"But me miss Markie." Haechans eyes teared up as he played with his sun necklace.

"Markie misses Haechannie too." Marks voice made Haechan bounce in glee.

Mark came in quite exhausted as he placed a flower crown on Haecgans fluffy purple hair and sat cross legged next to the swimming pool. Everything was going by sweetly until Chenle got a call and his face dropped.

"Johnny and his men are headed here. But how do they know?" Chenle freaked out and Taeyong tensed.

"I swear I said nothing. But overhead that someone saw Haechan. They must have been there yesterday!" Taeyong gasped as all of them started panicking and Haechan innocently looked up in cute confusion.

Not sooner did the front door dash open and men in black flooded in as Mark ordered Haechan to stay low on the water. They stood infront of the swimming pool but it was no use. It happened too soon, Johnny slapped Taeyong sending him flying onto the floor and pointed a gun on Marks forehead.

"Give me the mermaid you sly thief!" Johnny hissed but Mark pushed him away. Chenle struggled in the arms of the men as Mark was hit on the head when he tried to fight.

"Swim up or I'll come there myself!" Johnny roared but Haechans big eyes blinked in fear and shook his head going deeper sown the swimming pool. But poor think knew nothing of it being not that deep.

He was grabbed by the hair and pulled up, as he whimpered a thin nylon string being wrapped around his neck. Mark broke free, running to Haechans out stretched arms, he held them but was yanked away by Johnnys men. Mark ordered Chenle to not do anything for one wrong move and his secret would be out.

"Johnny it would cut his neck! Stop it! Let him go please!" Taeyong pleaded but Johnny only smirked.

"He needs to know who his master is." Johnny tried to slap the beauty but Mark stood before him, throwing a punch at Johnny.

Mark fell on his knees, carring the mermans chubby cheeks. His touch was so warm and loveing it made the gorgeous sea creatures lips quiver and tremble but the worry in his humans eyes made him feel sad.

"Dont cry. Please dont. If you did they would made you cry forever. To get those stones. Please baby dont." Mark whispered and Haechan nodded. But they were ripped apart as Mark struggled in the arms of those men and Haechan was dragged away by the thread around his neck.

"Let him go disgusting pig!" Chenle screamed but it was for no avail.

Haechan was thrown onto an open truck, smell net being dumped over him as he was taken away from Mark lee. The mermaid big his lips trying his hardest not to cry, his neck hurt and he felt like his insides broke when he was taken away from the sea and that boy who looked so warm.

"What have I done?! How would I save my baby?! He hasnt eaten anything, he would strave if I'm not close by. Oh god!" Mark screamed slamming his head on the wall, feeling helpless and ashamed of himself not having the strength to fight those buff men. Then again this wasnt a fairytale was it.

"The Circus is tomorrow Mark. We must hurry." Taeyong ran out and the two boys followef suit.

The mermaid was thrown into a large fish take that was only long as the mermaid himself. The string was tied to a hook above so no matter how the poor fishy wanted to escape he couldnt. Not that he could either. Haechan felt uneasy and packed, for the first time in his life he felt like he was short of breath and wasnt able to breath.

"Look! Its a mermaid!" One of the fishes gasped at the gorgeous creature in the tank.

"But he looks heart broken. He must have been ripped from his soul." Another felt sorry.

Johnny walked around in pride wearing a million dollor smirk on his handsome face. He lifted an eyebrow when he noticed the mermaid was actually a merman.  He rolled his eyes.

"Seems like there is no such thing as mermaids but instead its mermen." He chuckled dryly and left.

The mermaid started sniffling into his palms and Doyoung woke up from his sleep for he heard a silent painful cry from his merbaby. He woke Taeil up, as he held his heart the agony becoming a sore wound within.

"My baby is alive but in danger and pain Taeil." Doyoung whimpered.

"He's strong even though he's just a baby. He'll be fine Doyung." Taeil smiled hugging his husband really tight.

Not all fairytales ended well and not everyone was always happy. Mark stood out side the Circus having no patience for the day to dwan. His white shirt blowing in the wind. Haechan felt Marks presence but the string around his neck cut. It bruised the soft skin. Yet he yanked it forward, his body hitting the thickened glass, the string started cutting deeper as blood started dripping. The hue on the gorgeous mermaid had begun to fade.

"Haechan!!!!" Marks voice made his webbed stubby arms bang on the glass. Mermaids became silent when they were afraid, the string pulled the beauty behind. The sea creatures that lived in other tanks tried their hardest not to cry at the heart breaking scene before them. A mermaid being trapped in that glass tank once again, Who was obviously crazy in love with a human.

"HAECHAN!!" Mark screamed as Haechan burst out crying in agony as the older looked for him outside.
