Warning: A bit of swear words ahead.

Steps echoed around the mansion as the four vampires followed (Y/N). Kou took his time to look around which irritated Haru.

"Hey cat idol, you're here to study, not on a field trip."

Kou laughed,
"My bad~"

Haru let out a huge sigh, just breathing around those vampires made him in a bad mood already.

Ayato rolled his eyes and spoke out-loud,
"What a pain. I'll be stuck in the same room as those low-life half-bloods for a week."

Yuma's eyes flickered in anger and marched up to the red-head.
"Say it again Aya-shit." He growled.

The red-head smirked, he was about to say the same words again when his reflexes told him to dodge.

"What a lame punch. I expected it from an impure-vampire like you."

Yuma gritted his teeth, he was about to attack Ayato again when (Y/N) grabbed his arm and stood between them.

"Both of you are getting on my nerves. If both of you do anything like this again, I wouldn't hesitate to throw you both out of my home." The girl said it coldly and let go of Yuma's arm.

Ayato clicked his tongue, yet followed the girl. He knew that Reiji would give him a long-ass speech if he didn't pass the exams. Yuma scoffed and grumbled on how it was that red-head's fault.

Kou held back a laugh, it amused him how they both obeyed (Y/N). His right eye turned red and he tried to read the girl's heart but he didn't detect any difference from her.

Haru laughed to himself.

Serves them right.

He saw Kou using his magic eye and he smacked the idol's head.

"Reading hearts aren't allowed, cat idol." He walked ahead of Kou causing the idol to glare at his back.

You made me despise you more Haru.

Shuu stayed quiet the whole time, trying to relax and drown himself in his music.

"We will be studying here." (Y/N) said and opened the door.

It revealed a huge library and a staircase which lead to the upper- shelves. Books were organized neatly and placed in the right sections in order.

Ayato groaned,
"Why can't we just study in your room Mochi-chan?"

The girl turned to him,
"My room is not suitable for studying, Ayato-san. Plus, everything we need is right here."

Shuu yawned and walked to the study table, he laid his head and said,
"This room is also suitable for sleeping."

Ayato laughed at Shuu's statement,
"For once, I have to agree with the lazy-butt over there."

(Y/N) sighed and sat beside Shuu.

"We're wasting time, so I'll begin."

Yuma and Ayato were shooting daggers at each other till the girl decided to move Ayato beside Haru much to Haru's dismay.

After all of them are now seated in their respective seats, (Y/N) turned to Shuu. The blonde was sleeping soundly till she took off his music player around his neck causing the earphones to remove from his ear.

A loud moan was heard in the room and it turned out, that the music Shuu was listening to was a girl screaming in ecstasy.

(Y/N) blinked, confused on why Shuu is listening to a girl scream weirdly. Ayato was laughing hard his hands werr smacking the table playfully. Kou had the same reaction as Ayato and he laughed like there's no tomorrow. Both Yuma and Haru's cheeks were tinted pink, they knew what those screams meant.

"H-Hey! Why are you listening to those kind of stuff?!" Yuma half-shouted, his face was red. Those noise are embarrassing to hear for him.

Shuu finally opened his eyes and noticed his music player is missing. He stared at (Y/N) who was holding his device in her hands with a confused look.

Shuu glanced at Yuma.

"It's music."

Haru looked at Shuu as if he was crazy.

"A g-girl screaming like that... is not... music." He stammered, his face still flustered.

"Ha! This is the kind of music I'm looking for. You should show me what else you listen to Shuu!" Ayato called him by his first name and continued laughing his pants off.

Shuu was taken aback by calling him by his first name, but he shrugged it off. He turned to the girl,
"What do you think (Y/N)? This is music for me."

Ayato and Kou quieted down, they were curious on what the girl's answer will be.

One of Haru's eyes twitched,
"Don't ask her that kind of question!"

(Y/N) blinked and shook her head,
"You have an exotic taste for music Shuu-san. But may I ask why the girl is screaming like that?"

Ayato was about to answer when Haru covered his mouth,
"Don't say a word vampire." He growled.

The red-head rolled his eyes and surprisingly, he nodded.

Looks like I can be the first one to claim Mochi-chan. I will be her first for everything and I can also teach her.
He smirked at his thoughts.

"Aww~ Chesha neko-chan is still innocent, she doesn't know about 'that'." Kou cooed.

(Y/N) raised one of her brows at him causing Haru to shoot a glare at the idol.

Kou laughed and shook his head,
"Nothing Chesa neko-chan, forget I ever said anything."

She sighed and turned off Shuu's music player,
"Shuu-san, you cannot use your device during class. You'll get it back after I dismiss everyone."

The oldest Sakamaki looked annoyed, now he is forced to interact with the others. He only wanted (Y/N) to teach him.

(Y/N) started teaching the four and she included Haru in the lessons since she knew that Haru struggled in Math. Shuu and Kou was able to get the lessons the girl taught while the rest struggled.

Ayato became the broken recorder that kept asking the same question over and over. Yuma kept on saying he knows how to do it but ended up doing nothing. Haru did great at other subjects but when it comes to Math, he turned to a broken recorder like Ayato too.

Kou spoke,
"Chesha neko-chan, where's the restroom?"

(Y/N) looked at him,
"When you exit this room, turn left and walk to the second door. A hallway will appear and turn right. The fourth door you see on the right is the rest room."

Kou grinned,
"I'll try to remember that." He went out and the girl continued lecturing the others.

30 minutes has passed and there was still no signs of Kou coming back to the library.

Are you serious right now? It doesn't take that long to use a restroom.

(Y/N) stood up and told everyone that she'll head out to look for Kou. Haru insisted that he'll come with her but she declined.

"I'll be back in a few minutes, I think Kou-san is lost on the way back."

(Y/N) shot a look at Ayato and Yuma.
"Both of you, please behave."

Ayato smirked,
"If I do that, will I get a reward from you?"

The girl smiled at him,
"Maybe." She said and walked out the room.

(Y/N) checked every room but there are still no signs of the idol. She stayed still and focused on Kou's aura.

The girl widened her eyes, and she immediately appeared in her room. Kou was examining a picture frame in his hands. She walked up to him and snatched the frame from his hands.

"What are you doing in my room?" She asked, trying not to strangle the idol in front of her.

Kou pouted,
"You ruined my fun Chesha neko-chan!"

(Y/N) shot him a cold stare and the idol laughed playfully,
"You see, I was bored. I couldn't help but wondered what your room looks like."

She smiled at him,
"Please leave my room right now."

The male chuckled and grabbed her wrist, he neared his face at her.

"I know that smile of yours is fake, so there's no point smiling to me (Y/N)."

The girl dropped her smile,
"I said leave my room Kou." She said, dropping the honorific.

Kou looked at her with an amused smile,
"This suits you better, you look cuter when you're serious." He winked.

(Y/N) rolled her eyes and pointed to the door.

He chuckled and shook his head,
"Fine, fine. I'll go."

When she heard his footsteps walk off, the girl stared at the frame. This is the only remaining family picture she has left. She looked at her five-year old self, her younger self was smiling brightly while sitting on a chair. Terra stood right beside her, her (E/C) orbs full of life. Endymion looked calm and relaxed, that's the father she knew before he went insane.

(Y/N) sighed, she put the frame back on top of her drawer. She made the frame face down to hide the picture inside of it.

A whistle caught her attention and she looked up to see Kou leaning casually,
"Let's get going Chesha neko-chan, who knows that they're ripping each other's throats now."

The girl rolled her eyes, she thought he had left.

When they both arrived at the library, (Y/N) didn't expect that everyone stayed quiet and only focused on their textbooks.

"I admit you all did great on staying behaved all this time." She said.

Ayato jumped out of his seat and approached her,
"I stayed behaved, where's my reward Mochi-chan?"

The girl blinked at him, she thought he meant the reward in a joking way, but he was serious about it.

An idea popped in (Y/N)'s head and she patted Ayato's head.

"Good boy."

Haru stifled a laugh and Shuu showed a tiny smile.

Ayato's ears turned red,
"What was that?!"

"Your reward."

Kou laughed,
"Nice one Chesha neko-chan."

Yuma nodded in agreement while smirking.

Ayato whined like a child,
"Mochi-chan, I don't want that kind of reward!"

(Y/N) smiled,
"What reward would you like then?"

Ayato smirked,
"A kiss."

Haru narrowed his eyes,
"She's not kissing you." He spat.

(Y/N) raised one of her brows,
"I think a pat in the head is good enough." She passed Ayato without sparing a single glance.

The red-head eye's twitched in annoyance and went back to his seat.

A week has passed, it was a busy week for (Y/N) she had a meeting with the teachers. She also have to focus on her studies and teach the four vampires.

The girl knew she lacked of sleep but she didn't care, but what irritated her the most is Kou, he always poked around her things and one night, a specific question irritated her the most.

"Chesha neko-chan, what are the lanterns for?"

(Y/N) stiffened at his words and she looked at him in the eye.

"You're poking around my mansion again weren't you?" She only received a laugh from the idol, this isn't the first time Kou has poked around her things.

"You made me curious, why are you making lanterns?"

The girl said coldly,
"It's none of your concerns."

"I'll find it out sooner or later, you can't hide things from me, Chesha neko-chan."

(Y/N) snapped out from her flashback and focused on her exam paper, she can't let anyone distract her. She has to be perfect, or else... she'll never forgive herself on failing.

I have to be perfect, I have to.

Even though she knew her father had passed, she can't help but think that if she made a single mistake, it won't let him rest in peace.

(Y/N)'s eyes wandered to the left and she saw Haru struggling a bit in his paper. The subject they were taking now is Math and she knew that Haru studied hard but the male still had trouble on solving some certain topics in Math.

The bell rang signaling their exams are over, she head out together with Haru.

"I'm glad exams are finally over, Math was pain in the ass."

She laughed lightly,
"I think you did great Haru, you really studied hard for Math so I think you already passed it."

He grinned,
"You're right, maybe we should celebrate! It's the end of the exams and I want to relieve my stress."

"Gomen Haru, I'm busy. Maybe next time?"

Haru pouted,
"We never get to spend time together anymore."

(Y/N) smiled sheepishly,
"Gomen, I'm really busy right now." She bid him farewell and walked off.

Haru frowned,
"She's hiding something again. I can feel it." His emerald eyes stared at the ground.

Even after all this time, she still don't trust me.

He clenched his hands at his thought.

The next evening, most of the students gathered around the bulletin board. The top 10 students have been posted.

"Congratulations Kaichou! You're in first place again." A student smiled at (Y/N).

"This was to be expected, Kaichou always get perfect scores for every exams."

(Y/N) smiled as she passed the students, some of them patted her back or congratulated her. She scanned the post and she sees her name clearly on the top.

The girl smiled softly to herself.

(Y/N) stopped at Reiji and Ruki's name. She already knew Haru will be in the 2nd rank but she never expected for the two vampires to get the same scores, this happens rarely.

Haru smiled,
"I thought I would lose my position of being second because of Math, but surprisingly, I only got two mistakes in it."

"You did great Haru."

He grinned,
"But you did better than me, you perfected all the exams."

(Y/N) smiled at him when two girls approached them.

"Kaichou, a letter has been addressed to you." Girl 1 handed out a creamy white envelope.

Girl 2 did the same thing and handed a similar envelope to Haru.

They both thanked the two girls and they recognized the cursive lettering on their envelopes.

Haru dragged (Y/N) to the council room.

"What does that whorish man want now?" He glared at the letter with hateful eyes.

The girl shrugged and before they could tear open the envelopes. A voice spoke out in the speakers.

"Students, please gather around in the school's auditorium. Ms. Masami, the drama teacher has an announcement to make."

Haru groaned,
"I dislike that teacher, she gave me a role as a tree once!" He complained.

"The letter could wait, let's head out now."

Haru nodded and both of them walked out leaving their letters on the table.
