NUMB.

That's what only (Y/N) felt. She didn't fight Endymion back and only watched him as he injected different kinds of liquids in the girl's body.

She's mourning quietly over Yuuka's death, the girl who is a sisterly-figure to her.

(Y/N) is strapped to a metal-like bed and her father busied himself creating more liquids for the girl's body to take in.

At first, she kept thrashing and crying but after a few weeks, (Y/N) grew quiet. She knew the pain is still there but she couldn't feel it. Her blank (E/C) orbs gazed at Endymion's figure, she watched him remove the chains that trapped (Y/N).

"Let's see how strong your body is in physical combat." He said with a glint of interest in his eyes.

(Y/N) didn't say anything as she was thrown in the ground by Endymion.

She stood up slowly with a blank look. Endymion cracked his knuckles with an insane smile etched on his face. He ran up to her and punched the girl straight in the stomach.

(Y/N) coughed out blood, she felt the pain and she screamed. Endymion didn't stop and kept punching her till she's lying back in the cold ground.

Endymion started kicking her and he laughed crazily,
"How weak you are (Y/N). If you can't fight back, I might as well continue hurting you." He sneered.

All (Y/N) could do is cover her face with her frail arms.

"S-Stop... please..." She managed to chock out.

The pain was unbearable, and all she could wish for is to black out.

"Fight back, if you want me to stop." The girl tried to move but Endymion's leg stepped on her chest.

A sickening crack echoed, pain shot everywhere especially in the girl's chest. Before (Y/N) could scream, Endymion picked her up by the hair, she coughed out blood. Her vision blurred slightly and she was thrown roughly again on the ground,
"You weren't able to fight back, you must be punished." Endymion said, he walked to the side and grabbed his katana.

(Y/N)'s eyes widened, that's the katana he used to kill Yuuka. Endymion approached the girl's body and he has that wide grin again. She tried to move but all she felt is pain everywhere in her body.

Please black out, please.

Her arm was grabbed roughly by Endymion,
"As your punishment, I'll put scars all over your body."

The blade of the katana is pressured on the girl's arm. (Y/N) screamed out loud and thrashed around. She felt the same pain again around her body and this time, her vision blurred and she slowly closed her eyes. The last thing she saw was Endymion's crazed eyes.

Time skip: 3 years

(Y/N) suffered from the abuse of her father for years. Her body didn't have a chance to heal itself and there were bruises and scars everywhere in her body.

Endymion didn't damage her face because he said it reminded him of Terra's (E/C) eyes. He still continued his experiments on (Y/N)'s body.

The man was reading his book again when he walked up to the 10-year old girl,
"Step 2, take something precious that belongs to the vessel, he/she will experience more pain and hate when his/her valuable belonging is taken. This may lead for the vessel to strengthen its abilities and has a bigger chance of opening the space-time continuum."

Endymion's eyes sparked when he saw (Y/N)'s tear-shaped necklace shining around her neck.

"You've always worn that necklace ever since you were born, I think it would be useful for me."

His hands held the pendant of her necklace,
"Take anything, but please, not this necklace!" She cried out.

Endymion smirked and tug the necklace harshly from the girl's neck.

"Stop it! It's from Mommy!" She shouted.

A snap was heard and the chain broke.

"I'll be keeping this with me from now on."

(Y/N) sobbed and clenched her fists tightly,
"You know why you can't escape from me?" He said in a mocking tone.

The girl ignored him and Endymion grabbed her chin roughly,
"Because you're weak. Nothing will change if you're weak."
He whispered darkly.

Endymion let go of her chin and walked to the gate,
"I'm heading out, I think this necklace costs a lot. That money I get for selling this necklace, could get me more ingredients I need for the experiment."

(Y/N) froze at his words and the gates to the warehouse closed leaving the girl alone in the dark warehouse.

(Y/N) slowly opened her eyes, she knew it was still day since she could still see light shining down on the ground. Her (S/C) was pale, she only goes outside if Endymion wants her to learn hand-to-hand combat, but it always ends up with him beating her harshly. She knew she was always holding back.

Even though her father abused her, she still loves him. She knew somewhere deep in his heart, he's lost and someday, she would guide him back to the light. But an aching feeling is in her heart as well. She's even starting to doubt about her father ever returning back to normal.

That's not true, Daddy will be back to his normal self.

But he abused you, he took Yuuka's life and your necklace that was given by your mother. He doesn't deserve another chance, he deserves to die.' A voice said in her head.

(Y/N) widened at her thoughts.

He did that for Mommy, he love Mommy so much and he would do anything to bring her back.

She replied back in her head but she didn't get an answer.

(Y/N)'s head ached and she tried to wiggle her hand out to clutch her head.

The gate to the warehouse opened again and she stayed quiet once more. Endymion appeared and another figure stood behind him.

"Isn't this great (Y/N)? You'll have someone with you as company." He stepped aside to reveal a boy around her age with black hair and emerald eyes.

"(Y/N), this is Haru Tsukada, he will be my 2nd test-subject for another experiment of mine." Endymion said with excitement lacing his voice.

The younger male spoke,
"It's nice to meet you (Y/N)-san." He smiled at her.

The girl stared shocked at him, how could he be so calm and collected when he's going to be used as a test-subject.

Endymion walked up to her and removed the chains cuffing her body.

"Feel free to stretch your legs, use your time to befriend Haru." He said calmly.

(Y/N) walked slowly and she immediately fell on the ground. Her legs were still injured from the electrical shocks Endymion did. She tried to stand up but she couldn't.

(Y/N) gritted her teeth as she remembered her father's words.

Because you're weak. Nothing will change if you're weak.

She snapped out of her thoughts when she was carried by the boy.

"Endymion-san, it seems like (Y/N)-san is not able to move, may I treat her wounds?"

The older male clicked his tongue,
"That's what you get for being weak (Y/N), and fine treat her."

The girl flinched at his words and Haru smiled,
"As you wish Endymion-san."

(Y/N) was carried by the boy in his back and walked out of the warehouse.

"He sure did quite a damage on you (Y/N)-san." Haru smiled while treating the girl's wound.

The girl narrowed her eyes,
"Why are you helping me?"

Haru hummed to himself,
"Well, you're going to be my only companion in here besides Endymion-san. Plus, your cuts would be infected if I don't treat it."

(Y/N) stayed silent as she watched Haru bandaged her wounds.

"You're really empty." She mumbled quietly.

Haru was able to hear the girl's words and he stopped for a second,
"Why did you say that (Y/N)-san?" His smile twitched and the girl saw through it,
"You kept on smiling even though you don't feel like it."

Haru laughed quietly,
"That's how I was raise, (Y/N)-san." His laugh lowered,
"If I stopped smiling, they'll hurt me."

(Y/N) glanced at him and he has a bitter look on his face.

"Who will hurt you?"

He looked away,
"Ah! It's nothing (Y/N)-san." He reassured her.

"Liar."

Haru couldn't face her for a second then he looked back,
"I'm done treating your wounds, (Y/N)-san." He went back to his smiling self again.

(Y/N) blinked at him and she looked at her now bandaged wounds and cuts. She took his hand catching the boy off guard,
"Haru, let's go somewhere."

The boy tilted his head,"Where?"

(Y/N) smiled,
"You'll see."

Haru blinked at her and let the girl guide him to their destination.

"Are we going to get in trouble for going away from the warehouse?"

(Y/N) shook her head,
"Don't worry, It's just nearby. I found this place when Otou-sama was in a good mood and he gave me time to wander around."

Haru doubted her words,
"Are you sure (Y/N)-san?"

"I'm sure, and you can drop that honorific. Just call me (Y/N)."

They arrived at their destination, it's a field, filled with flowers. The sun was shining brightly and it was windy too, creating a perfect weather.

(Y/N) let go of Haru's hand and she ran through the field even though her legs still hurted. Her arms are stretched out while running around.

"Haru, what are you waiting for? Come play with me!" The girl beamed at him and he felt himself blush.

"O-Okay..." He ran after her and the two kids laughed happily as if they have no problems at all.

After playing, Haru and (Y/N) climbed and sat on a tree. Their legs dangling around the tree,
"That was fun! Let's do it again sometimes." (Y/N) exclaimed happily, it was nice to finally have someone to talk to again.

"Yeah, let's do it again!"

The two kids grew silent and (Y/N) glanced at him,
"Haru, I hope you don't mind me asking but, why are you calm being Otou-sama's test-subject?"

Haru looked down,
"I have no choice, I was forced to do it."

(Y/N)'s eyes widened and Haru continued,
"I was sold by my uncle. Your father gave a necklace as a payment and he took it without sparing a single glance at me."

(Y/N) regretted asking him,
"I'm sorry if I asked you something personal."

"It's okay, I feel kind of better saying it out to you." He smiled at her.

(Y/N) smiled back and she said softly,
"That necklace, belongs to me. It's my most prized possession given by my mother."

It was Haru's turn to widened his eyes,
"I'm sorry to hear that."

Haru said,
"Now it's my turn to ask you, why does your own father treat you that way?"

The girl closed her eyes and she could see all the precious memories from her family,
"It's a long story, but I'll tell you."

After (Y/N) finished her story, Haru spoke,
"I shouldn't have asked you, you've been through much."

"It's fine, I actually feel better for telling you all of it. Thank you for listening to me." She smiled at him.

Haru smiled back and he looked down at his legs,
"My mother and father were killed, when I was 6."

The girl stayed silent and she knew not to push him about his story.

"They were killed brutally by a vampire."

(Y/N)'s (E/C) orbs were wide as saucers,
"V-Vampires... They exist?"

Haru nodded,
"I never find out who killed them, all I know it's a vampire."

(Y/N) listened carefully and he continued,
"Ever since they died, I have been living with my uncle and his family. I was abused by them, they hurt me whenever they had the chance. But then I figure out a trick, whenever I smile while they're hurting me, they grew annoyed and stopped beating me. Since then, I always smiled because I knew they would stop."

Haru glanced at (Y/N) and he was surprised to see the girl with tears in her eyes.

"Why are you crying?"

(Y/N) wiped her tears,
"I'm sorry, it's just that- no one protected you. I would have protected you if I met you earlier."

Haru is stunned by the girl's words, he never met anyone who cried for him, and this girl is crying for him now. His hands shook, he hesitantly reached out and patted the girl's head.

"Hey, stop crying. It's not your fault at all."

(Y/N) hugged him, catching the boy surprised, by the sudden action. He hesitantly hugged back then his shoulders relaxed and his eyes closed.

"Thank you for understanding me (Y/N)." He whispered to her and he mean it.

They both pulled away and looked at each other. Haru also has tears running down his face,
"Even though we only met for today, I felt we're connected (Y/N)."

The girl wiped his tears away,
"I feel the same too Haru."

The boy bumped his forehead lightly against (Y/N),
"I also have a feeling to protect you, to care for you."

(Y/N) laughed lightly,
"Shall we make a promise then?"

"How about a vow? A vow would be more sacred and it should not be broken."

"Let's seal the vow with a pinky swear."

Haru shook his head,
"You just made it sound like a pinky promise when it's supposed to be a vow."

"What's your idea to seal the vow then?"

Haru averted his eyes from the girl,
"W-well... I have an idea. But you need to close your eyes."

"Okay, but no funny business."
She closed her eyes and she felt something soft touched her lips for a few seconds then it was gone.

Wait a minute, did he just-

"You can open your eyes now."

(Y/N) opened her eyes,
"What did you do Haru?" She shot him a confused look.

Haru sheepishly smiled,
"Nothing, I just sealed our vow."

(Y/N) stayed confused but she eventually shrugged it off,
"We have to go back, it's getting late."

Haru nodded and they both headed back.

When the duo came back, Endymion immediately took Haru's arm and strapped him to the same bed (Y/N) was in before.

"I wonder what will happen when the human body is focused on its agility." He injected a drug on Haru's neck and the boy screamed out loud.

(Y/N) watched in horror and Endymion turned to her,
"You both stayed too long, this will be your punishment."

He approached (Y/N) and grabbed her wrist roughly and strapped her to another metal-like bed. He injected the same drug on the girl's neck and she screamed.

Endymion went to his control system and clicked a button, the metal straps holding both Haru and (Y/N)'s body, electrocuted them. The pain was unbearable and they both felt their body on fire.

They both managed to look at each other and (Y/N) closed her eyes.

Everything hurts, I just want it to stop.

She suddenly felt a surge of energy deep inside her and she couldn't contain it, she felt her body release the energy contained inside her.

(Y/N) opened her eyes again when she heard a loud sound. Her eyes widened when everything in the warehouse is destroyed. She realized she was in Haru's arms who was protecting her from the explosion of the control system.

"What was that?" He said his eyes wide opened.

They heard a crazy laugh and Endymion came out with a wide grin and stared crazily at (Y/N),
"You did this, didn't you?"

He approached both of them while holding his katana.
When he is close enough, Haru shielded (Y/N) away from Endymion,
"Don't touch us." He spat then he flinched when he felt his injuries from the electrical shock before.

Endymion looked at Haru, amused trailed in his eyes,
"It's amusing to see you protecting (Y/N), even though you couldn't even protect yourself."

The man lifted his katana and he was about to cut Haru when the boy disappeared, and reappeared at the far left of the corner.

"H-How did I do that...?"

(Y/N) looked at him weakly,
"H-Haru.." She chocked out and blood trickled down her head.

The boy's emerald orbs widened, he knew (Y/N)'s body is not fully healed and it damaged itself further from the electric shock. He ripped a part of his clothing and wrapped the girl's head.

"You'll be alright." He reassured her.

They both heard footsteps and it was Endymion,
"This is a great improvement! Two of my test-subjects, achieved their own special abilities." He laughed once more.

(Y/N)'s vision started to blur and her hearing senses became poor. Haru shouted words she couldn't understand and her eyes fluttered shut.

(Y/N) woke up to the sounds of screaming. She went wide awake when she saw her father hurting Haru.

"Why didn't it work?! You should able to teleport from far places now."

Haru's body was bloody and its filled with bruises as well.

What happened?

She stared in horror when a sickening crack was heard.

"USELESS!!!" Endymion shouted at him and he unsheathed the cover of his katana,
"I'll kill you, you're only a failed test-subject."

He had a blood-lusted look and (Y/N) widened her eyes at his words, that face. She recognized that look, that's the look he made when he killed Yuuka with no mercy.

"NO!" (Y/N) screamed out loud.

A voice immediately spoke out,
"Do you want this to stop?"

The girl looked around and she saw Endymion was halfway from killing Haru, but he stopped and so does Haru's screams.

She realized it was the same voice that spoke to her before.

"Who's there?"

A giggle echoed around the room.

"That doesn't matter right now. I'm asking you a question, do you want this to stop?"

(Y/N) hesitated for a second and she nodded,
"Please make this stop, please make Daddy go back to his original self and please save Haru."

"My, my. You sure do have a lots of pleas. I can only say that you can only pick one of them."

The girl widened her eyes,
"O-One of them?"

The voice giggled again,
"Yes dear, only one of them."

(Y/N) stayed silent and she felt someone circling around her.

"Why are you hesitating? Your father is the cause of this, he ruined your life and he is now about to take another life again."

The girl tried to defend about her father, but no words came out.

"I admit that's selfless of you, for defending your father. But, isn't he the one who also called you weak? You want to be strong right? To prove your father that you can be strong too."

(Y/N)'s lips quivered,
"What will happen to my father if I chose Haru?"

"He will die." The voice whispered in her ear.

(Y/N) flinched,
"If I chose Daddy, what will happen to Haru?"

The voice hummed,
"Haru will die because of your father who's about to kill him."

"This is unfair..." She mumbled.

"Life if unfair, that's why this world is sick and cruel. Peace will never happen because this world is filled with selfish people." The voice said.

"That is the thing happening to you right now (Y/N). It's unfair right? You're suffering now because of your insane father. That's why you must get rid of him. If you don't, he'll kill an innocent child."

(Y/N) started to recall all the things her father did to her for the past 3 years. Her heart ached just by thinking of it. How could he do that?

The girl gritted her teeth, he doesn't love her anymore. She just denied that fact, when the answer is obviously right in front of her.

"I choose Haru, save him."

The voice spoke,
"As you wish, but remember this, not everything is free. There's a price for saving someone from their fate. I will take something from you to pay the price."

The girl nodded without caring what the price is.

"DIE!" Endymion shouted out as he swung down his katana on Haru.

Suddenly, someone grabbed Endymion's wrist. He widened his eyes when (Y/N) held his wrist tightly.

"You've done a lot of cruel things, because of you, a person died. You lost the sight on what's important to you, and the price you have to pay is your life." The girl said with an unrecognizable voice.

Haru watched (Y/N) with wide eyes, he felt that this is not the (Y/N) he know. Her aura is... different.

Endymion narrowed his eyes,
"Let go (Y/N)." She didn't say anything and that's when she started to float in midair.

"Watch your words, human."

Endymion widened his eyes,
"Who are you?"

(Y/N) smirked,
"Bow down human. I am Celestia, the goddess of Space and Time. I had enough hearing the cries of my own descendant."

Endymion grinned widely,
"At last, you came! I order you to bring my wife back!"

(Y/N) narrowed her eyes,
"You expect me to follow an order from a mere human? -she laughed- but I could bring you to your wife."

Endymion widened his eyes,
"W-Wha-" He felt a massive pain in his chest and he looked at '(Y/N)' who had stabbed him on the chest using only her hand. He coughed out blood and fell on the floor, taking in his last breath.

The goddess turned to Haru,
"Consider yourself lucky, she chose you."

The boy realized all his wounds and bruises are healed. "What happened to (Y/N)?"

"I borrowed her body, she'll wake up. But something will be different from her, she changed someone's fate and she paid the price of it."

Haru's eyes widened,
"What's the price?"

"I took her ability to fall in love. She'll never fall in love with anyone, unless a miracle happens. Her fated lover is the one who'll return the love that was taken away from her."

(Y/N)'s body closed her eyes and she fainted. Before she could hit the ground, Haru was able to catch her.

You save me (Y/N), and because of me, you lost the ability to fall in love.

He cried softly and hugged the girl in his arms.

Haru carried (Y/N) in bridal style and walked out of the warehouse. He didn't spare a glance at Endymion's corpse.

I'll be your fated lover (Y/N), because you're the only girl who made me feel this way. I'll be the one to return your ability to love someday.

Haru took care of (Y/N) for 2 weeks. Luckily, the house* they stayed in has provided it all.

"H-Haru?"

The girl finally gained her consciousness. Haru froze in his tracks and he immediately ran to her.

"(Y/N)!"

He hugged her tightly.

The girl blinked at him and she pulled away,
"What happened?"

Haru began to tell her what happened 2 weeks ago, but he left out what goddess Celestia told him. (Y/N) nodded slowly yet she didn't show any emotions when Haru spoke about Endymion's death.

She smiled, "He deserves it."

Haru is shocked by the girl's words, and especially that smile of hers. He cleared his throat, he's still doubting the fact that (Y/N) lost the ability to love, he decides to test it out himself.

"Hey (Y/N), I-I love you." He grew flustered just by saying those words. He knows it himself that he also means it.

(Y/N) blinked at him,
"L-Love? What's that?" The girl tilted her head to the side, confused.

Haru frowned, the goddess wasn't joking at all.

"Nevermind..." He was upset even though he knows the truth.

"You say weird things Haru."

Haru shot her a half-smile.

"My bad."

Time skip: 1 year

"Happy Birthday Haru." (Y/N) smiled at him. The male is surprised when the girl handed him a white box tied by a silky green ribbon.

"How did you know?"

(Y/N) laughed softly,
"You told me a few months ago."

Haru opened his present slowly and when he opened it, a green scarf is neatly placed in the box.

"I didn't know what to get you, but I remember you complained about the cold temperature during the night. So I knitted you a scarf." The girl smiled sheepishly at him.

Haru held the scarf with such care and his fingertips could feel the soft fabric. He wrapped it around his neck,
"Thank you (Y/N), I will treasure this forever."

"A-Ano... Haru?"

The male glanced at her and shot her a questioning look.

"Today a boy told me he loves me. You also said that a year ago, what does that mean?" (Y/N) blinked curiously at him.

Haru became flustered as he recalled himself saying those words, but he didn't like the fact someone said those words to (Y/N).

"It means that he's attracted to you. But in my opinion, you should say that you appreciate his feelings and tell him that you can only be friends to him. If another guy says,'I like you.' You say the same words to him."

The girl nodded slowly,
"I kind of get it. I'll say those words to the other males if they say 'I love you.' or 'I like you.' to me."

Haru smiled and patted her head,
"Yeah you should."

Time skip: 5 years

"Welcome to Ryoutei Academy, I am (Y/N) Koizumi. The student council president of this school." (Y/N) bowed politely and smiled.

"Good evening Ms.(Y/N), my name is Reiji Sakamaki, the second son of the Sakamaki household." The dark-haired male bowed slightly at her.

"Heh. I have to say that your chest looks soft, like a mochi." Ayato said and he eyed (Y/N)'s chest. He was expecting the girl to be embarrassed but (Y/N) raised one of her brows,"Excuse me?"

Reiji hit Ayato's head with his pocket book,
"I apologize for his behavior Ms.(Y/N). His name is Ayato Sakamaki, the fifth son and the youngest* of the triplets."

The red-head rubbed his head,
"That hurted, four-eyes! -he looked at (Y/N)- Call me Ore-sama."

The girl sheepishly smiled at him and Reiji said,
"That's Kanato Sakamaki, the fourth son and the middle brother of the triplets."

(Y/N) glanced at the purple-haired who was giggling softly and whispering words to his teddy.

Reiji cleared his throat catching the girl's attention,
"The albino-haired is Subaru Sakamaki, he's the youngest son of the household."

(Y/N) looked at Subaru and the male glared at her,
"What?" He spat.

The girl smiled,"Nothing."

The male scoffed and turned away from her.

How rude.

(Y/N) gazed her (E/C) eyes at a blonde-haired male who was casually sitting down on a sofa with his eyes closed.

"His name is Shuu Sakamaki, the eldest son of the household. You could say that he's a good for nothing." Reiji said, an annoyed expression etched in his face.

Shuu lazily looked at Reiji with narrowed eyes,
"Shut up." He resumed sleeping while wearing his earphones and ignored (Y/N).

Reiji narrowed his eyes,
"Where were you Laito?"

The fedora male appeared behind (Y/N) and he chuckled,
"I'm just wandering around, Mr.Butler. It's lovely to meet you bitchy-kaichou."

(Y/N) faced Laito and blinked at him,
"Excuse me?"

Reiji sighed at Laito's behavior,
"Finally, this is Laito Sakamaki, the third son and the eldest brother of the triplets."

Laito winked at (Y/N),"I can't wait to have fun with you, bitchy-kaichou."

Before (Y/N) could reply, Haru walked up to them,
"If I were you, I would refrain from using those words to Kaichou."

Laito hummed,
"Oh? Who are you?" Haru bowed lightly, his bangs covered his left eye creating a mysterious demeanor.

"I'm glad you asked, I am Haru Tsukada. The vice president of the student council. Everyone calls me Vice in here."

Reiji shot Laito a side glare and the fedora male laughed,
"Oops, my bad. But I must say you don't look like a vice president."

Haru's eyes narrowed,
"Was that an insult?"

"Maybe."

(Y/N) cleared her throat catching the attention of the two males,
"Me and Vice will escort you now to your classes okay?" She smiled.

After (Y/N) and Haru have escorted the family of vampires, they went back to the student council room.

"Those vampires are such a pain." Haru said, clearly annoyed.

"Haru, I need to tell you something."

The male immediately paid attention to her,
"What is it?"

"I'll be traveling back to the past, I'm having this repeated dream lately, and I think the past has something to do with it."

"What kind of dream? And how would you cover up your absence?"

"I'm not sure, I couldn't remember the details but I could recall only two words, 'Adam and Eve.' To cover up my absence, I would announce that I have an opportunity to study in England for a year. You will be the temporary president while I'm away."

Haru stared at her, wide-eyed.

"A year?! I can't handle it without you."

"You know that when I travel in the space-time continuum, the time in here would be different. I estimated that after I received the information I need, a year would have passed after I come back in here. You can do it Haru, I believe in you."

(Y/N) shot him a genuine smile.

"No matter what happens, I'll be waiting for you." He hugged her, catching (Y/N) off guard. She hesitantly hugged back the male.

(Y/N)'s announcement has spread in the school like wildfire, Hisakawa prepared everything for the girl's trip and made a temporary farewell party.

When (Y/N) came back to her mansion*, she laid in her bed and closed her eyes. When she reopened them, she was in a time plane. She walked around and followed what her gut is telling her.
