"(Y/N), please come here." Terra said. and the little girl immediately ran up to her.

"Mommy!" She hugged her mother who's sitting upright in her bed.

"Let's go to the garden, I want to see the beautiful flowers."

(Y/N) nodded eagerly and beamed happily at her. Terra slowly got out of bed, she almost fell but she managed to catch herself.

"Are you okay Mommy?"

Terra nodded and gave her a weak smile.

Endymion was out of the mansion since he went to the Van Gaundy's.
The couple asked him to help prepare for the ball this evening.

"Mommy, are you sure you're going to be fine when you attend the ball later?" (Y/N) asked.

"I'll be alright, I want to come with you and your father."

When the duo arrived at the garden, it was filled with different kinds of flowers and green luscious hedges neatly trimmed and some marble statues were displayed.

The garden also have a huge space to move and walk around freely, a fountain stood in the middle of it. Both of them went to the gazebo and sat at one of the provided chairs.

Terra rang a bell and a few seconds later, a maid with brunette hair came,
"What do you need Lady Terra?" She smiled kindly at Terra.

The middle-aged lady smiled back,
"Hilda-san, can you please bring me and my darling (Y/N) some snacks and tea."

The brunette bowed,
"Of course Milady."

A few minutes later, the brunette brought out sweets from a silver cart and a teapot of chamomile tea. She laid out napkins and silverwares. After she's finished preparing the table, Terra and (Y/N) thanked her, Hilda smiled at them and left.

They ate their snacks peacefully and when they're finished,
Terra held (Y/N)'s hand and she guided the little girl to a dual seated swings.

A gentle wind blew the cherry blossom trees making the petals of the tree fall off creating a magnificent view.

Terra picked up a pink blossomed flower and tucked it into the girl's ear earning a giggle from (Y/N).

"No matter what happens,You'll always be the blossom and the star of my life little (Y/N)."

(Y/N) looked up to see her mother with a gentle and caring look on her face,
"And you'll always be the best mother for me!" She beamed and hugged her.

Terra chocked out a sob and hugged (Y/N) tightly,
"I love you so much (Y/N), always remember that."

The girl nodded slowly, she's confused on why her mother is acting like this. But she ignored that feeling, and enjoyed the warmth emitted by her mother.

"(Y/N), I want you to always wear that necklace okay?"

"I'll always wear it Mommy, since Yuu-chan told me that I've worn it since birth."

Terra smiled at her,
"You and Yuuka always look out for each other, I'm happy for you both. Let me tell you something special about your necklace."

(Y/N) shot her a questioning look and she watched her mother reveal a similar tear-shaped necklace like hers.

"I got this from my mother, she said to always wear it. I've also had this necklace when I was born.
You see (Y/N), you've inherited a special blood line from our ancestor, she's a Goddess named Celestia. So every time a descendant of hers gives birth, they shed a single tear, and this tear freezes becoming a tear-shaped crystal which is given to their child. The necklace symbolizes happiness and love because a new life is born and it stores the memories of the person since the beginning of their birth."

(Y/N) looked awe and touched her necklace,
"I promise to treasure this."

Terra laughed softly and kissed her forehead,
"I know you will little (Y/N). She stood up and took (Y/N)'s hand.

"Let's get you dressed up for the ball, I can't wait to see you in your dress!"

The girl nodded and happily walked back to the mansion hand-in-hand with her mother.

(Y/N) blinked as she looked at herself in the mirror. She's wearing a small (F/C) ball gown that reaches the floor. Her hair is in two low pigtails and her (H/C) fringes are brushed neatly at the side.

Yuuka squealed,
"You're so adorable (Y/N)-chan!" She's wearing a plain teal dress and even though it's simple, it shows her natural beauty without needing to wear overly-sized frilly dresses.

(Y/N) giggled,
"You look adorable too Yuu-chan."

Yuuka snapped her fingers and rummaged (Y/N)'s stuff till she brought out a tiara that matches
(Y/N)'s gown.

She put it on the carefully on the girl's head making sure she didn't mess up (Y/N)'s hair.

"There, now your outfit is complete! I want to hug you but I'm afraid it would ruin your dress and hair." Yuuka pouted.

(Y/N) grinned at her,
"Thank you Yuu-chan!"

When they both came out of (Y/N)'s room, Altaria complimented on how they look absolutely beautiful.

They both waited at the huge living room, when Terra and Endymion walked down the grand staircase together with their arms linked.

Terra's (E/C) eyes sparkled and her skin complimented her dress perfectly.

Endymion's (H/C) hair is neatly combed back and he's wearing the classical men's tuxedo.

When they both reached down, (Y/N) ran up to them with a huge smile on her face,
"Mommy, Daddy!" She beamed.

Endymion picked her up and spun her around,
"My princess is so beautiful!"

(Y/N) giggled and stretched out her hands, enjoying herself in mid-air. Endymion put her down and Terra bent down,
"I knew that dress would look perfect on you sweetie."

"You look like a queen Mommy!"

Terra laughed softly,
"Why thank you my dear, and Daddy is right, you are a beautiful princess."

Endymion carried them both in each of his arms,
"And I'm the lucky king who have his queen and little princess!"

The three of them laughed happily causing Yuuka ti smile.

I hope it would always be like this. They're one of the few families who's not been tainted in this world, I hope nothing tragic ever comes in their life.

When they arrived at the Van Gaundy's, (Y/N) is surprised to see the huge ballroom surrounded by aristocrats.

A few adults approached (Y/N)'s parents and they began chatting leaving her out.

"Why if it isn't the daughter of Mr.Endymion, it's a pleasure to meet you I'm Mr. Van Gaundy, the host of tonight's ball." A plump man approached (Y/N) and he grinned at her.

The girl remembered her manners and curtsied at him,
"Good evening Mr. Van Gaundy, and to you as well." She smiled.

The plump man was approached by other people and (Y/N) walked away with Yuuka.

"Ne (Y/N)-chan, let's play hide and seek." Yuuka whispered to the girl.

(Y/N) giggled,
"We have a huge place to hide, it would be fun." She whispered back.

They were about to play when a young boy with sleek blonde hair approached Yuuka,
"May I have this dance Milady?" He have a slight british accent in his tone and Yuuka blushed,
"M-Me?"

The boy nodded,"Of course it's you, silly." He joked.

Yuuka looked back at (Y/N), the girl pushed Yuuka towards the young boy,
"Sure she wants to dance with you too."

Yuuka grew flustered at the close contact,
"(Y-Y/N)!"

The girl shook her head,
"I'll be alright, you can dance with him!"

The blonde boy laughed,
"You should listen to her."

Yuuka smiled and nodded,
"It would be a pleasure to dance with you."

The male grinned and guided her towards the other floor where the guests danced with their partners.

(Y/N) smiled at them.

I'm happy for Yuu-chan, she deserves this happiness after she did so much for me and my family.

The girl looked around and grinned to herself.

Now, time to explore the huge mansion! It would be an adventure for me!

She giggled silently at her thoughts and walked through the guests when she accidentally bumped somebody.

"Hey you, watch where you're going."

She looked at the owner of the voice and it was a boy around her age. He has ebony locks and grey orbs.

"I'm sorry." (Y/N) apologized. The boy merely scoffed at her lame apology and walked off.

What a meanie.

(Y/N) walked towards the exit but then, she saw the dessert table filled with sweets. The girl's (E/C) orbs sparkled at the sight of the heavenly sweets.

I need sugar before I go for an adventure!

The girl speed-walked her way to the dessert table and happily helped herself with a plate of (favorite cake). She munched on her cake happily when someone walked right beside her and it looks he had a hard time picking his dessert.

(Y/N) blinked at him because it's not everyday you see someone with purple hair. He's holding a teddy bear with him.

"Excuse me, I think you should try (favorite cake) if you have trouble picking your dessert."

The purple-haired looked surprised at her and he nodded slowly.

(Y/N) finished her cake and waved at the purple-haired boy but he ignored her. The little girl sweat-dropped but she didn't mind that she was being ignored.

"He loves me better than you do, and Ayato would be inheriting his throne."

She heard a voice nearby and she saw two women. One is a white-haired woman who looked troubled while the other woman has purple hair like the boy she met at the dessert table.

Altaria lectured her about to not eaves drop at any adults but she couldn't help but feel curious on what the two ladies are talking about.

"Nii-sama, won't lie to me. He said he'll come back for me." The white-haired lady said and she's accompanied by a young boy who looks like her son.

The purple-haired woman cackled,
"My, my. You look troubled saying those words Christa, I think you're lying."

The woman she's talking to, didn't say anything further and there's a clear doubt on her face.

"Stay away from my mother!"
The albino-haired boy half-shouted but the crowd is too loud so they didn't notice an argument is happening.

The purple-haired laughed,
"You should watch your mouth Subaru. that's not the way you treat elders."

The boy named Subaru, gritted his teeth and (Y/N) decided not to hear anymore further. She knew it's getting personal so she focused on her plans earlier and head out of the room.

She ran through the unknown hallways turning every corner that comes in her way.

This is so cool!

The girl giggled and she saw various portraits and detailed arts.

"I want this one!"

A deep voice shouted that came from a nearby room.

(Y/N)'s head perked up from the sound.

I wonder what that is.

She walked slowly and she heard sounds coming from a dark-colored door.

There's a small light coming from the keyhole and (Y/N) was able to peek inside.

Her (E/C) orbs widened in horror,
she saw a boy with blonde hair screaming out in pain.

The aristocrats in the room chuckled evilly. A masked man came up to the boy and punched him harshly causing the boy to fall roughly on the ground.

(Y/N) backed away slowly with her hands on her mouth. She immediately ran away from that hall with tears streaming down her face.

Why are they hurting him?

She didn't care where she ran but suddenly, someone grabbed her. The girl was about to scream when a hand covered her mouth and she let out a muffled scream.

Her body was turned and she faced Yuuka,
"(Y/N)-chan, what are you doing here?" She said clearly worried about her.

(Y/N)'s body shivered, she couldn't forget about that tortured boy. His screams echoed in her ears and Yuuka laid her hand on (Y/N)'s shoulder,
"Are you alright?" She asked but (Y/N) couldn't hear her.

The girl's eyes are wide and she couldn't feel her body.
The last thing she heard was Yuuka's scream.

(Y/N) slowly opened her eyes and she blinked at the familiar ceiling of her room. She sat up and Yuuka came to her immediately,
"What happened to you (Y/N)?!" Yuuka's eyes were swollen and it shows that she's been crying.

"Gomene, Yuu-chan. I was just tired that's all." She lied because she didn't want Yuuka to worry about her more. "Where's Mommy and Daddy?"

Yuuka looked down at the ground sadly,
"Before I found you, your mother collapsed at the ballroom and I immediately went out to look for you since we have to leave early."

(Y/N) jumped out of her bed immediately,
"Is Mommy alright?!"

Yuuka stopprd her before she could run out of her room.
"Your mother will be okay, she's just... tired like you."

(Y/N) somehow have a hard time believing Yuuka's words.

The blue-haired girl picked her up and gently placed her back on the bed,
"It's way past your bed time (Y/N)-chan, you should get some rest."

The girl shook her head and jumped again out of her bed,
"I won't sleep till I make a get-well card for Mommy."

Yuuka sighed knowing the little girl won't rest till she made the card for her mother.

She decided to help (Y/N) but the girl shook her head,
"There's no need for that Yuu-chan, I want to make the card for Mommy all by myself."

Yuuka nodded understandingly and she smiled softly as she watched (Y/N) drew colorful hearts and a cute drawing of her mother.

After the girl is finished, she went up to her bed like Yuuka asked her too.

"Good night, (Y/N)-chan."

"Nighty-night, Yuu-chan."

Yuuka blew the candle and went out of the room. (Y/N) tried to sleep but her thoughts wander off to the tortured boy. She flinched and covered herself with a blanket. After a few minutes, drowsiness overtook her body and she fell asleep.

(Y/N) woke up by the sound of loud thunder and heavy rain, she flinched.

The girl couldn't help but worry about her mother when an idea popped in her mind. She went out of her bed and took the card she made before, for her mother, she decided to go to her parent's room and give it to her.

The little girl quietly walked towards her parents room holding the card. She smiled to herself, because she knew her mother would love it.
Since Terra always told her that she loves her drawings.

(Y/N) saw the familiar light colored door and she ran up to it.

"E-Endymion, my body c-can't hold it... any l-longer. E-Everything hurts... and m-my throat burns." (Y/N) stopped at her mother's voice. She sounded so weak that she barely heard her.

"Terra, please don't leave me! How about (Y/N)?! Our daughter." She heard her father's voice who sounded so desperate and she heard him sobbing.

"I-I'm sorry..." Terra managed to chock out.

(Y/N) finally peaked inside, she saw Yuuka and Altaria who stand off at the side. Yuuka is crying silently and Altaria's head is bent down who's doing her best not to burst into tears.

Endymion hugged Terra tightly and (Y/N) revealed herself,
"M-Mommy, D-Daddy?"

Everyone looked at her and Terra's (E/C) eyes who lost its liveliness stared straight at the girl,
"(Y-Y/N)..." She said it weakly and that's when she took her last breath.

Thunder boomed loudly, (Y/N)'s eyes were wide as saucers as she stared at her mother's dead eyes.
Endymion was desperately shaking her screaming her name.

Yuuka saw (Y/N) who's slowly taking a step back, her body shook and her lips quivered.

The blue-haired female tried to reach out to her and call her name but (Y/N) was already out of the room.

The little girl locked herself in her room, she leaned at the door and slowly bent down, she cried out-loud knowing that her mother is gone.
