"Haru, you can let go of me now."

Haru didn't say anything and kept on walking while holding her wrist.

"Haru." She called out to him and once again, the male didn't say anything.

(Y/N) got tired of calling out to him then she yanked her wrist from Haru's grasp.

The male's attention quickly perked up and he looked at (Y/N) with a surprised look,
"What's wrong with you Haru? I've been calling out to you since before."

(Y/N) stared hard at Haru.
The boy look down at the ground and clenched his fists,"I-I just..." He didn't finish his sentence and stayed silent.

(Y/N) widened her eyes, Haru never stuttered until now. She immediately recalled about his past when he-

The girl shook her head.

This is not the right time to think about the past.

Her (E/C) eyes softened and put her hand on Haru's shoulder,
"What's wrong Haru?"

Haru stayed silent till he surprised (Y/N) with a hug. The girl widened her eyes once more then she patted his back.

"I don't want to lose you (Y/N). I don't like the way those vampires treat you and how they can talk to you easily." He finally spoke then he tightened his arms around (Y/N).

The girl blinked at him,
"Haru, you'll never lose me. We still have that vow and I'm not planning to break it."

Haru pulled away with a relieved look,
"You're always so good to me (Y/N), you're the only one I can only trust." He patted (Y/N)'s head and he genuinely smiled at her.

(Y/N) blinked at him again,
"You're acting strange Haru."

The male kept on patting her head till he kissed (Y/N)'s forehead,
"Let's just say that I'm jealous (Y/N)." He pulled away his hand and started walking again.

(Y/N) stared at him and she touched her forehead.

I'm confuse, why did he kiss my forehead?

She snapped out of her thoughts when Haru laughed,
"You can now stop touching your forehead (Y/N), I know you can't resist me but we still have to go to the Evergreen Forest." He teased her returning back to his playful self.

(Y/N) sighed and shook her head.

I don't get him sometimes.

She walked up to him when Haru wrapped his green scarf around her.

"It's very cold during the night. I'm afraid you might catch a cold." (Y/N) stared at him blankly and Haru simply smiled at her again.

'Haru, We could both use our teleportation to arrive at the forest faster.'

Haru nodded and they both looked around and thankfully, there was no students around this part of the campus, meaning that no one saw what happened before.

The green scarf around (Y/N) hung loosely at her neck so she adjusted it causing Haru to smile at her. (Y/N) shot him a questioning look but the male shook his head then he hold both of her hands and closed his eyes.

She closed her eyes as well and the movement around them stopped for a second, then leaves started to whirl around both of them, then they disappeared.

(Y/N) slowly open her eyes and she look around and sees the sign that says 'Evergreen Forest'

They both walked inside the dark forest and both of their eyes glowed in the dark helping them to see clearly in the forest without having a hard time.

"Did you sense anything Haru?" She knew that Haru's sensor ability is better than hers.

"I sense 11 auras, it will be a 10 minute walk from here." He pointed straight ahead and they both started walking.

After exactly 10 minutes, they hear voices and Haru clicked his tongue,
"You've got to be kidding me." He said it out loud causing the voices to quiet down a bit.

(Y/N) didn't say anything and they both reveal themselves. She knew they would be here. It's not a coincidence that the Vampire King himself would invite them too.

"Looks like the other 2 guests are Mochi-chan and her follower." Ayato smirked.

"I didn't expect Chesha neko-chan would be here." Kou blinked at them.

The duo didn't say anything and a butler escorted (Y/N) and Haru to their respected seats and fortunately, they both sat beside each other. But unfortunately for Haru, Azusa sat in his left side.

This sucks, I have to breathe the same air with a masochist freak.

He decided to busy himself with the sweets prepared in the table.

"(Y/N)-chan..." The girl looked ahead to see Yui in front of her.

"What?"

"A-ano... Eto... About before..." Yui stuttered causing (Y/N) to roll her eyes at her.

"Forget about it." She spoke coldly causing Yui to wince at her cold tone.

"What's with the cold attitude bitchy president? Shall I warm you up myself?" Laito appeared and he stood quite close to her.

The girl spoke,
"I'm warm enough with Haru's scarf." Haru smirked at (Y/N)'s answer causing Laito to smile playfully.

"Oh? You both are quite close, don't tell me that there's something going on between you two."

Laito's answer immediately silenced everyone at the table and everyone stared at them. (Y/N) stayed silent while Haru secretly awaited for the girl's answer.

"I never expect for everyone to be this quiet." A deep voice spoke grabbing everyone's attention.
