Anamika asks Ishika to stay by her side. Ishika is astonished and she argues with Vineet that he has said something to Anamika and that is the reason that she is silent. Vineet argues back with the girl and she tags him ‘khadoos’ and it leads Anamika to laugh out loud. Vineet smiles as he stares at Anamika. She has laughed freely in the last 40 minutes. He looks at them and pulls a packet out of the drawer. He presents it to Ishika and she is astonished.

“Ye tumhare liye hain.” Vineet says.

“Par kya? I mean, mera toh birthday bhi nahi aaya.” Ishika questions, as she didn’t expect such a sweet gesture from him.

“Apnon ko gifts dene ka mauka nahi dhundha jata.” Anamika says softly and asks her to open the gift.

Ishika is happy, she opens the packet and is surprised to see a photo frame with Anamika and her picture with Vineet’s autograph on it.

While there is another frame with Ishika’s picture with both Anamika and Vineet, it’s from the day when the three of them spent the day together after Ishika recovered from the accident. Ishika is teary-eyed. Both the pictures were autographed by Vineet. She hugs him out of excitement and thank him for the gift.

“This is the most beautiful gift, I’ve ever got. Thank you.” Ishika says.

“I know, lekin koi toh gussa tha na, toh main hi rakh leta hoon ye dono frames.” Vineet says teasingly and tries to take them from her hand.

“Noo! They’re mine. Aapke pas meri behen hai na. Ye photoframe toh main hi rakhungi.” Ishika says and hugs Anamika, who kisses her cheek.

Vineet smiles at her antics and then Ishika moves out of the room, letting the husband and wife talk for some time.

Anamika and Vineet are alone in the room. Vineet closes the door and turns to her. She wanted to say something, but Ishika came and things went haywire. He sits beside her and holds her hands.

“Tumne kya socha hai?” He asks softly.

“Wahi jo hum dono ke liye sahi rahega.” Anamika says.

“Ana, I hope tumne koi ulta raasta na socha hai.” Vineet says, as he knows that she is not pleased to know that she can’t conceive.

“Vineet, ye hum dono ke liye acha hai. Main janti hoon ki tum mujhse bahut pyar karte ho aur main bhi karti hoon, lekin jo khalipan hai, uska main kya karun? They say, a woman is complete when she becomes a mother, lekin meri life mein wo khushi nahi hai.”  Anamika says dejectedly.

Yes! She can’t conceive. It’s another time that she has gone for tests. A part of her heart wants the results to be positive while the other part still feels emptiness. Also, after seeing the two ladies at the doctor’s ward, she is ready for something. Ready for Surrogacy. All she needs is a lady, who will bear and give birth to their child.

“I want to go for surrogacy.” Anamika says.

“What? Are you out of your mind?” Vineet looks at her suddenly.

“Main sach keh rahi hoon, Vineet. Ab wahi ek option hai.” Anamika says.

“No! We have other options as well. We can go for adoption.” Vineet declares at the very moment.

“But Vineet, usme kya problem hai? Wahan clinic mein maine 2 ladies ko dekha tha. They were sisters and the other one was the surrogate mother to her sister and her husband. Hum bhi toh kisi ko dhundh sakte hai na.” Anamika says while looking at her husband hopefully.

“No Ana! This is not happening. When we can straightly adopt a kid, then why go for surrogacy?” Vineet asks.

“Par Vineet…” Anamika tries to speak but he shushes her.

Vineet makes Anamika sit on the bed and he sits on his knees before her. They don’t need to say about the love they share for each other. Their day commences by seeing each other and their day also ends up being in each other’s embrace. So, there’s no question that Vineet would leave her at any cost. Also, they don’t need to go for surrogacy, they can adopt a child and directly, a small family will be formed.

“Dekho Anamika, main jaanta hoon tum kya feel kar rahi ho? Main bhi wahi feel karta hoon, lekin jab hum directly ek bacha adopt kar sakte hain, toh surrogacy ke liye kyun jana hai? Jab hume ek bacha aur ek anath bache ko maa-baap mil sakte hai, uski zindagi sanwar sakti hai, toh hume surrogacy pe kyun jana hai!” Vineet says in order to convince his wife.

“Main iski ijazat nahi dunga, Ana. You matter the most to me, and trust me, hum dono ek dusre ke sath hamesha khush rahenge. Aur ab toh Ishika bhi hai, she is no less than a kid. “ Vineet tries to convince her.

“Vineet! I understand. Lekin ek baar meri taraf se bhi socho na. Please ek baar socho.” Anamika says, but at the moment, Vineet’s phone rings and he leaves the room to attend the call, as it was important for him.

Anamika sighs deeply. She knows Vineet is right, but in her heart, she wants to go for surrogacy. She wants someone to bear her and Vineet’s baby, and she’ll do anything for the same. Also, she wants the baby to be his part, the adoptive one won’t fulfill her demand. Anamika is tense, it’s hard to convince Vineet, he will do anything, he will fulfill any demand of his wife, but not this. He can live forever with Anamika but won’t ruin anyone’s life for his sake. Her trail of thoughts ends with Ishika’s voice.

She moves to her room and finds her watching a movie. Ishika pulls Anamika and makes her sit by her side. She puts a question towards Anamika which leaves the lady surprised.
