The doctor does Ishika's checkup. She looks fine and the doctor knows that it's because of the homely care that's given to her. He then looks at Vineet and Anamika.

He is well aware that Ishika is considering Anamika as her elder sister. Her trauma has taken her back into her past. She needs to realise the reality soon.

"Mr. Vineet! She looks fine. Infact, she's healing nicely. But, we have to surely bring her out of the trauma. She has to learn that she is all alone in this world. The ones who are treating her as a family, are not her actual family." The doctor says.

"But she's weak. Will it be okay to tell the truth? Kyunki if I show anger to her, she gets scared. She's scared of being alone." Anamika shares her concern with the doctor.

"Anamikaji! Batana toh hoga hi. Kuch waqt baad mein sahi. But you have to tell her.." the doctor says and handing the medicine prescription to Vineet, he leaves the house.

Vineet closes the door and Anamika moves to check on Ishika. She's busy sketching on the book she gave her. Anamika smiles to herself and then moves to her room.

Anamika  finds Vineet ordering the medicines. She sits on the edge of the bed and is lost in thoughts. She's wondering about telling the truth to Ishika and how will the girl handle it. Vineet makes the order and look at his wife.

"Kya hua?" he asks sitting beside her.

"Jab Ishika ko sach pata chalega tab kya karenge?" she asks, leaning her head on his shoulder.

"We will handle her. Let her recover first." Vineet says calmly.

Anamika just nods her head. They have to handle her calmly. They can't let her take it the wrong way. Vineet looks at Anamika.

"Kal Tum boutique chali jana, you've not checked on them since three days." Vineet says.

"you'll handle her?" Anamika asks while looking at him.

"I will handle her. I promise I won't scold her." he says innocently and it makes Anamika smile.

Vineet is not such a person to get angry at small things, but he is peace loving. He might get bugged by Ishika,because the girl loves to talk. And the state she's in, they have to be careful. Meanwhile, the housemaid informs them that the dinner is ready. Vineet moves to change, while Anamika moves into Ishika's room and takes her out for dinner. Ishika is surprised. Maybe, she didn't expect this. She whines in pain as she sits on the chair.

"I don't know when this ankle pain will go!" she makes a face.

"In a few days, if you take medicines." Anamika says looking at her.

"They are bad!" Ishika makes a face.

"Good for you! If you want to be fine!" Vineet says as he takes his seat opposite to Ishika.

"Are you going to scold me too?" She asks, staring at him.

"No! Why would I? There's someone to scold both of us!!" he says, pointing towards Anamika.

Ishika giggles at his words and his expressions. Anamika smiles at Ishika, but glares at Vineet.

"When did I scold you?" She asks.

"You do!" Vineet says innocently.

"Arey! Ek toh tum dono meri baat nahi sunte, aur ab ilzam laga rahe ho! So bad!" Anamika says aloud.

"See you're scolding us again." Ishika makes a face and so does Vineet.

Anamika stares at them, they are giggling, looking at each other. The frown from her face vanishes, and a smile makes way on her lips. Having Ishika by her side is a pleasant feeling, but seeing Vineet team up with her, that's his way of making Ishika feel better, makes her happy. Though, it's for some reason, but Anamika is enjoying it. Ishika notices her and nudges her.

"Gussa utar gaya ?" she asks.

"Main gussa thi kab?" Anamika asks, rolling her eyes at her husband and Ishika.

"Abhi toh dant rahi thi! Abhi khud se maan gayi! Achi baat hai!" Ishika chuckles and Anamika smiles lightly.

They finish their dinner with some light chit chats. Anamika takes her to her room and gives her the medicine. Ishika falls asleep in a few minutes due to the medicinal effects. Anamika frees her hand from Ishika's grip,and covering her with the duvet, she moves to her room.

She finds Vineet lying on the bed, shuffling the channels on television. She changes into her night dress and snuggles close to him on the bed. She keeps her head on his chest, while he embraces her with one arm. They spend a few moments in silence - - Their peaceful time of the day. Anamika is moving her fingers on his chest - - making figures. That's something she does every time he is close to her.

"What are you thinking? I hope it's not what you were thinking on my birthday." Vineet breaks his silence.

"That's not what I'm mourning about . But, right now, my concern is Ishika." Anamika says in a low tone.

"I know, but she will be fine, doctor said so." Vineet gazes at her.

Anamika turns away from him, and keeps her hand below her head,while Vineet turns towards her. She looks at him.

"I know she will be fine. Par mujhe darr lag raha hai. I don't know how she will react!! And doctor ne toh yahan tak kaha hai ki we may have to repeat what happened with her - - shayad usse wo apne trauma se bahar aaye." Anamika says.

"That's the last option, Ana. For once, we will try to tell her all that happened. But after two or  three days, when she will be better." Vineet says comforting Anamika.

Anamika hums in agreement, while Vineet pulls her towards himself. Anamika looks at him and finds him smiling at her. She glares at him.

"What! At least, now concentrate on me. Subah tum fir se apni behen ke sath busy ho jaogi!" he says teasingly.

"Tumhe kya problem hai?? Waise bhi kal tum uska dhyan rakhoge! So, you have to see for yourself." Anamika slaps his cheeks lightly.

Vineet laughs at his words, while she stares at him for a few good seconds. He feels her stare at himself. He puts his hand on his face, covering it, but she removes his hand looking at him annoyingly.

"What are you watching? Roz roz kya dekhti ho?" he asks.

"My wish! Ab apne pati ko pyar se dekhun bhi nahi!" she replies slapping his cheek lightly.

"Thoda pyar bhi karlo." Vineet says winking at her.

Anamika giggles, she looks at him, and then kisses his cheek. She rolls over the bed, but he's quick enough to pull her back, she giggles at his impatient act, but then seals his lips with hers, drowning into their ocean of love.
