The next day, Karyl was spying on Miss Pecorine while Kokkoro was registering a guild application for herself, Yuuki, (Y/N) Kent, and Pecorine.

Meawhile, you were buying two hotdog sandwiches for yourself and Yuuki because the two of you were hungry until you eventually bought them as you approached Yuuki and you see him fooling around with the yellow paper that Kokkoro gave him.

(Y/N): Hey, got the hotdogs, here.

Yuuki: Oh?

(Y/N): Here, here's yours.

You then handed him the extra hotdog sandwich as Yuuki smiles up at you before taking it and eventually eats it.

You smiled at him before you sat down next to him and eat the hotdog sandwiches together.

(Y/N): Taste good, yeah?

Yuuki: *Nods and Thumb up* Mm!

(Y/N): That's good to hear.

The two of you continued eating the hotdog sandwiches until the both of you heard of someone who was heavily panting.

You and Yuuki looked to see a woman who as a dark tail underneath her skirt and was carrying some kind of a potion bottle and it lets out a blue toxic air.

(Y/N): Are you gonna help her out?

Yuuki: On it.

Yuuki finishes eating his hotdog sandwich as he got up from his seat and went over to the fallen woman.

With Yuuki, he approaches the fallen woman as if she needed any help.

He crouched down to her level as he took a good look at her.

???: W-Who are you?

??? asked as Yuuki places a single piece of freshly cooked rice on the ground.

Yuuki: Are you hungry?

Yuuki asks with a smile as you looked him with a slightly shocked look on your face.

(Y/N): (Bruh, he only just give her rice instead of just helping her to stand up?)

You thought to yourself as Yuuki walks back over to you until you noticed that the woman's eyes were glowing and her mouth turns into a wide grin on her face as you can feel chills down on your spine.

(Y/N): (What the hell was that?)

That's when you hear a familiar voice.

???: (Y/N)! My Lord!

You and Yuuki turned to see Kokkoro running up to you both with a paper in her hands.

Kokkoro: Sorry to keep you two waiting. I got the application.

(Y/N): Ooh, that's great!

Yuuki: *Thumb up* Mm.

Kokkoro: Well, shall we?

Kokkoro says as the three of you went off to find Pecorine or perhaps Karyl.

Suddenly, all of you hear people who were awed about something and it came from the restaurant.

Man 1: Whoa, hang on...You still want to eat more?

Man 2: Moron! Don't underestimate our Peco Lady!

Kokkoro: There they are.

You then spotted a familiar figure who was looking at the window.

(Y/N): Hey, isn't that...?

You then used Telescopic Vision and zoomed-in onto that familiar figure and to your surprise...

(Y/N): Oh, it's Karyl.

Kokkoro: Let's go and say hi.

Yuuki: Mm.

The three of you approached Karyl who was still peeking at the window as if she was watching something.

Karyl: What is she doing?! I've been at this all day with nothing at all to eat! Just show me your weakness already, then I can chop you up into tiny pieces!

(Y/N): Hello there!

You greeted out loud as Karyl screamed and is also startled by the sudden voice behind her.

Karyl: D-Don't sneak up behind me like that! I'll kill you!

(Y/N): Ehehe, did I spooked 'ya, little kitty~?

You said in a teasing manner.

Karyl: Shut up! I'm not a kitty!

(Y/N): Ahahaha!

Karyl: Stop laughing! I'll scratch you to bits!

Kary then gets into a pouncing stance with her hands out until Kokkoro spoke up.

Kokkoro: That's enough, you two. Karyl, what are you doing in a place like this?

Karyl: N-N-Nothing! I'm a little hungry so I was just looking to see what they serve here.

(Y/N): (That sounds like a barefaced lie.)

Kokkoro: Our timing was perfect, then.

???: Master! More, please!

It was the sound of Pecorine's voice.

(Y/N): That must be Pecorine. Why don't we all head in?

Karyl: Why should I eat with-

Karyl got cut off with the sound of her stomach rumbling as Karyl tried to her embarrassed face after hearing that.

The four of you entered the restaurant and found Pecorine who was eating food with the same two men from before.

Pecorine: Everyone! Hiya!

Kokkoro & Yuuki: Hiya.

(Y/N): Wazzup.

Pecorine: Ikacchi and Charlie just finished eating. Come eat with me!

Ikacchi: Y-Yeah...you guys eat, too...

(Y/N): Oh my...

Eventually, the five of you found an empty seat, sat down, and ordered your food.

Kokkoro: This restauraunt's food really is delicious.

Yuuki: The best!

Pecorine: Isn't it?

(Y/N): Mm, pretty good.

Pecorine: Hm? You seem a bit low on energy, Karyl. What's the matter? Are you anemic? Eating some food will fix that! Here you go!

Pecorine then shoves the plate onto Karyl's face as if she was trying to off her until Karyl just pushes the plate away from Pecorine.

Karyl: Hey! Quit shoving food in my face! (Why does she insist on being friendly? She doesn't even know what I'm after!)

Pecorine: Oh, don't you like this kind of food?

Pecorine then slides over the menu to Karyl.

Pecorine: Well, here's the menu. Order whatever you like!

Karyl then takes the menu and looks at it to scroll up and down for food that she'll order.

Karyl: Fish and Chips, then.

Karyl says as the chef comes up to your table as he smokes his cigar before speaking up.

Chef: Ain't got any. Out of ingredients.

The Chef says as all of you can still hear Karyl's stomach rumbling again.

Karyl: This is because you're such a darn glutton! This mouth! It's this mouth's fault!

Karyl says as she pinches and stretches Pecorine's cheeks.

Pecorine: Ow! That kind of hurts, Karyl!

(Y/N): Oh dear me...

Kokkoro: I guess we should go to another restaurant.

Pecorine: Don't be in such a hurry, Kokkoro! I heard this restaurant has a secret menu!

Karyl: A secret menu?

(Y/N): Well, what is it?

Chef: Miss, might I ask where you heard that?

Pecorine: Fufufu, Ikacchi told me.

Suddenly, Percorine snaps her fingers and yelled out.

Pecorine: Master! Let's have the secret menu!

A few minutes later, the Chef came back with the food and it's...

...and it's bugs.

You and Karyl couldn't help but feel disgusted at this.

(Y/N): What the hell is this?

Pecorine: Now, let's start today's main event, the bug dinner party!

Kokkoro & Yuuki: Yay!

Karyl: Wait a second! Bugs?! Did you say bugs?!

Pecorine: "Bug food" means foods made with bugs.

Karyl: I don't understand you! Are you stupid?!

Kokkoro: I'm quite intrigued by this concept.

Karyl: Clear your heads for a minute, you guys! Most people would throw out their food if it had bugs in it!

(Y/N): Yeah, I'm a picky eater so I would rather pass on the food, thank you very much.

Karyl: I'm glad someone here understands!

Pecorine: Now, now, you two~! It's true that bugs are disgusting, but they can also be cooked which makes them delicious~!

(Y/N): Now that you think about it, people do eat bugs for food when it comes to cooking and surviving. However, I'm still not eating bugs, people can have their own opinions.

Pecorine: That may be true, but can you at least try to eat one, (Y/N). Here.

Pecrorine says as she feeds you a large white bug food using a fork.

Pecorine: Say "Ahhh~"

(Y/N): I...uh...

Karyl: Hey, don't you even dare eat it! It's disgusting!

Pecorine: Come on, (Y/N)~ Just try it~

You couldn't help as you closed your eyes and grit your teeth.

(Y/N): Ah, screw it.

You braced it as you force yourself and chomped on the large white bug on Pecorine's fork.

Pecorine: That's good~!

Pecorine then pulls the fork out of your mouth as Karyl screamed while you chewed on it.

Pecorine: So, is it good?

You swallowed as your face turned into a surprise one.

(Y/N): Oh, it's not actually that bad.

Karyl: What?!

(Y/N): It's not pretty bad, Karyl. You oughta' try one, too.

Karyl: No way! I feel betrayed!

(Y/N): Come on, you'll starve off without eating, you know? Just try one.

Karyl: D-Dammit...! Fine, I'll eat it!

Pecorine: Alright, here you go!

Pecorine then immediately shoves the fork into Karyl's mouth that has the same large white bug on it.

Karyl felt disgusted by the taste until she swallowed it as her disgusted face turned into a surprise one.

Karyl: Whoa, you're right. It's not totally bad.

Pecorine: Isn't it?! I'm so glad you both like it! But being able to share a meal with all of you did get me a little too excited. I'll try to be calmer. I'm sorry.

(Y/N): Sounds like you're a Saiyan, Pecorine.

Yuuki: What's a Saiyan?

(Y/N): Oh nothing. Just fictional stuff.

Karyl: Hmph. I just happen to be hungry, so I'll eat it just this once. Just this once! You got that?

Pecorine: Right! In that case, have this caterpillar first!

Karyl: I don't want anything that meaty! Start with something lighter!

-Mini Time Skip-

A couple of minutes passed as everyone eventually ate their bug lunches.

Pecorine: That was so yummy! I'm in heaven!

Karyl: Couldn't they have made it look a little nicer? That's setting the bar too high.

Pecorine: This means a new door has been opened for you, too!

Karyl: More like you forced it open! You're unbelievable! Seriously!

Kokkoro: Um, Miss Karyl, Miss Pecorine...

Both Karyl and Pecorine got their attention as Kokkoro slides the guild application paper to them on the table.

Kokkoro: I know this is presumptuous of me, but I picked up a guild application. I was hoping we could start a new guild with both of you.

Pecorine: Thank you, Kokkoro! You're such a good girl!

Pecorine then stood up and runs over to Kokkoro and gives her a hug.

Karyl: Wait a minute.

Everyone turned to Karyl as she slams her hand on the table making a "thud" noise.

Karyl: I told you I'm not going to join your guild. Sorry, but I have no interest in guilds. So long. Thanks for the meal.

And just like that, Karyl walks off with her staff.

With Karyl, we can see her stomping off with an angry look on her face.

Karyl: Darn it all! How could I say that? My mission is to eliminate Pecorine! This is no time for me to be eating a meal with her!

Suddenly, her mouth felt something after screaming.

Karyl: I can still taste those bugs in my mouth...

Karyl then grabs a lemonade fruit on the tree and rubs it on her left arm before taking a bite of it.

Karyl: Mmm! I bet this would've gone great with that meal we had!

While Karyl was busy eating the lemonade until an unfamiliar voice spoke behind her.

???: Well, you're awfully chipper, aren't you?

Karyl turns around to see a yellow-haired woman who was wearing a sexy outfit.

Karyl: N-Not really.

???: Hah. This peace is boring. I find myself hoping something will happen. Don't you feel the same way?

Karyl: I-I'm...Don't compare me with yourself!

Karyl then walks off as the yellow-haired woman smirks.

???: Heh, what a cute little kitten.
