-In the Gourmet Guild house-

It was now nighttime and everyone already finished eating dinner as they all head off to their bedrooms to get some sleep, but only one person woke up and it was Karyl.

Karyl was sitting at the edge of the bed and was hugging a small plushie in her hands. And that small plushie was you. Since you became a hero and fought crime which increased your reputation, the people of Landosol made some merchandise of you around in town and were admired for your heroic deeds.

Karyl: I've purchased this plushie of (Y/N) a couple of weeks ago and this became my hugging pillow.

Karyl sighs as she looks at the (Y/N) plushie before she begins to speak to herself.

Karyl: Honestly, I regret buying this, but at the same time, I should be grateful for it. Jeez, what's wrong with me liking (Y/N)? It's just...normal...right? How could you do this to me? Stupid (Y/N)...

The young cat lady says as she lies back down on her bed and holds the plushie (Y/N) in her right arm.

Karyl: (Maybe I should go and ask Dumborine if she likes him or something...)

Karyl then gets off her bed and opens the door, but only to find out Pecorine was outside her room.

Karyl: Pecorine?

Pecorine: Ah, Karyl!

Karyl: What are you doing here?

Pecorine: Well...I just want to talk about something.

This surprises Karyl upon hearing that.

Karyl: (What? Does she has the same thought as I do? Could it be a coincidence?) Uh...sure. Come in.

Karyl then steps aside, letting Pecorine into her room while Karyl closes the door behind her.

Karyl: So...what is it that you want to talk about?

Pecorine: What do you think of (Y/N)?

Karyl: For all I know is that he's a big reliable heroic dummy.

Pecorine: *Sighs* No, not that. What do you think of him? Not as someone who fights or something, but as a person?

Karyl didn't answer and looked away. Pecorine realized what this is and giggles before speaking up.

Pecorine: I see. So you like him too, huh?

Karyl: O-O-Of course I like him, so what?!

Karyl admits with a small blush on her face as Pecorine smiles before speaking up.

Pecorine: I, too, also like him. And I'm sure you know that, right?

Karyl: Yeah...

Pecorine: Come to think of it, whenever you and (Y/N) interact with each other, I feel a little upset. I don't know what kind of emotions is this, but...do you know it?

Karyl looks at Pecorine with a slightly surprised face before speaking up.

Karyl: That's because you're feeling jealousy.

Pecorine: Jealousy?

Pecorine asks with her head tilted to her left.

Karyl: Yeah. You see, whenever you feel jealous in the relationship, you only...wanted your partner's attention or the relationship with your partner is lacking so...you get a little clingy around them. It's just your insecurity, Dumborine.

Pecorine: I...I see. That's how I was feeling back in the Targum Village.

Karyl: I noticed it, but you weren't clingy on (Y/N). You're just a little naive.

Pecorine: What about you, Karyl? Do you get jealous?

Karyl: No...mine's different. It's just...It's just that when (Y/N) is around, I feel my chest so fluffy. But when I'm away with him, my heart is all foggy. It hurts.

Pecorine: Does that mean that you like being around (Y/N)?

Karyl: Well...I guess you could put it that way.

A small silence occurred around the room until Pecorine spoke up.

Pecorine: I know!

Karyl: Huh? What is it?

Pecorine: Why don't we share him~?

Pecorine asks with an enthusiastic smile and Karyl seemed to be a little shocked by this.

Karyl: S-Share him!?

Pecorine: Yeah. We take turns if we want to spend time with him sometime, wouldn't you agree?

Karyl: Yeah, but-

Pecorine: Come on, Karyl, please~?

Pecorine says with crying puppy dog eyes.

Karyl tried to resist them, but she eventually gave up.

Karyl: Ugh, fine!

Pecorine: Yay!

Karyl: But it's best if we take it slow, and we don't have to be a little hasty until the time is right to tell our feelings to (Y/N).

Pecorine: Okay! Thanks for your cooperation, Karyl!

Pecorine then hugs her and Karyl was a little angry at this before returning back the hug.

Karyl: Y-You're welcome...

Pecorine smiles before pulling herself away.

Pecorine: I'm gonna head back to sleep! See you tomorrow, Karyl!

Karyl: Yeah, whatever.

Pecorine then eventually left Karyl's room and closes the door behind her.

Karyl lets out a deep sigh before she turned off her lamp on the bedside table until Karyl lies down on her bed and grabs the small (Y/N) plushie.

Karyl: (Sharing (Y/N), huh? I guess I could go agree with that. But...I have a feeling that Her Majesty will find out about it soon...I just hope that she would just consider it okay...probably...)

Karyl thought to herself with worry before going back to sleep.

-At Dawn-

Dawn came as the sun was slowly rising from the horizon. We then see Yuuki who has a troubled expression on his face while sleeping on his bed as if he had a nightmare.

He then sees a vision of the strong female enemy and his fallen allies except for you who wasn't there in the battle.

The reason why you weren't there is because...you never arrived in the first place.

Ameth: Yuuki! Yuuki! Keep it together!

Ameth says while shaking Yuuki until he regained his senses.

Yuuki: Was that...a dream?

Ameth: A dream? No. (Of course there's no way he'd forget that.) Because you've developed bonds with so many people, even deeper memories within you are awakening. Listen well. What you saw was both a dream and a reality. It may be a past you've relieved over and over, or it may be the future.

Yuuki was shocked at what he was hearing as Ameth continues.

Ameth: And for that boy, (Y/N) Kent, he never arrived in this world. You never met him, Yuuki.

Yuuki: Never...met him?

Ameth: *Nods* Correct. You never once met him in your life until now.

Yuuki looks down, thinking of what he had just heard from Ameth.

Ameth: (We aren't too sure if (Y/N)'s strength will be able to handle Mana himself from outside of this reality. He only arrived here for an unknown reason or at the same time as this world?) The time is drawing near. I'm sorry for pushing you so many times, but there was no other way. I have faith in you, Yuuki.

Light emits from the ground as Yuuki disappears into it until he eventually wakes up from his sleep.

-Time Skip-

When morning came, Yuuki asks Pecorine to do sword training which she obliged to do so, and eventually start training Yuuki for an amount of time in the morning until lunch.

So right now, the Gourmet Guild members are now currently eating at the same place as usual.

Pecorine: You can't go to war on an empty stomach! Everything starts with a good meal, so make sure you eat plenty.

Yuuki: Okaywmph.

Kokkoro: You show so much promise, my lord.

Pecorine: Anyway, Karyl is awfully late.

(Y/N): Oh, she went off an errand somewhere, she'll be here after she's done with it.

Pecorine: We're going to run out of food. Let's order the same things once again she gets here!

Yuuki then pukes out the food that he was eating.

(Y/N): Bruh.

That's when the Gourmet Guild members hear a commotion in the restaurant.

Man 1: Are you serious? You saw Princess Eustiana?!

Man 2: Landosol has been ruled by its princess for generations, right? What was she like?

Man 1: Well, I only got a tiny glimpse of her, but royals really do have a certain...what would you call it? Dignity?

Man 2: It just oozes from them.

Man 3: She had the kind of beauty that would give you chills.

Man 2: If only she were as kind to us lowly peasants as she is beautiful...

Man 1: Gyaha! She doesn't care about us. If she did, she wouldn't have let this town end up so lawless.

Kokkoro: It's been quite a while since we came to Landosol, but we haven't had an opportunity to see the princess yet. As someone who grew up in the countryside, she seems like a character in a fairy tale. I wonder what she's like.

Kokkoro says as you looked over to Pecorine who is now silent and was eating her food with a gloomy expression.

(Y/N): (Pecorine...)

You then patted her back to comfort her a little.

-With Karyl-

Back to Karyl, she had a plate that was piled up with four raw fish as she is feeding them to the kittens.

Karyl: Here. No fighting over it, now. Well, I guess it's time for me to go eat, too...

Ikkachi: Hey, Karyl!

Karyl then turns over to see Ikkachi and Charlie walking over to her.

Charlie: Hiya!

Karyl then ignores them and continues moving, but Charlie and Ikkachi follow her.

Ikkachi: You're going to eat? Perfect timing! We're on our way to get some drinks!

Charlie: We'll go with you, Karyl!

Karyl: You two are always drinking. Do you actually work?

Ikkachi: O-O-O-Of course!

Charlie: We do this and that and all kinds of stuff!

They exclaim and Karyl wasn't buying it until a big shadow looms over them as the three looked up and see the Shadow with the stone mask, but this time, it mutated into a giant-sized form.

The giant Shadows roared as Karyl remembers what that creature is.

Karyl: That's...!

-Back to you-

Pecorine: That's the spirit, Yuuki!

Suddenly, the ground shakes with a loud heavy stomp.

Kokkoro: What was that sound?

(Y/N): Let's go check it out!

Both you and Pecorine quickly rushed out of the restaurant, leaving Kokkoro and Yuuki.

Once the two of you got outside, you see everyone running away in panic. Pecorine sees the little girl about to trip, but she caught her in time.

Pecorine: Are you alright?

Charlie: Peco Lady! Hero boy!

Both you and Pecorine looked in front of you and see Charlie and Ikkachi running towards you both.

(Y/N): What's going on!?

Ikkachi: We've got trouble! There's a monster in Landosol!

Charlie: Karyl was with us, but we lost sight of her!

This surprises you upon hearing what Charlie had said.

Ikkachi: What are the palace knights doing right now?!

Pecorine: I'm sorry. I need you to look after this child. (Y/N) and I have to protect this town...and everyone in it.

Ikkachi & Charlie: You got it!

(Y/N): Alright, Pecorine. Let's go beat up that monster!

Pecorine nods as you and her went off to fight the big Shadow monster.

Back to the huge Shadow monster, it was grabbing the male store owner as he starts to panic.

Male Store Owner< I'm done for!

Man 1: Tome!

Yasuko: You imbecile! Don't give up so easily!

Yasuko then throws the frying pan toward the Shadow's stone mask, but it didn't hurt the monster.

Tome: I'm really done for! Yasuko!

Man 2: Aren't the palace knight here yet?!

Man 3: What about the princess?! What is Princess Eustiana doing?!

Tome: Before I go, there's something I always meant to tell you...

Yasuko: Tome!

Tome: I...Yasuko, I've always...

As Tome was about to be finished off, Pecorine comes out of nowhere and yells out her battle cry, and slices the Shadow's right hand, dropping Tome.

Yasuko: Tome! Are you okay?

(Y/N): Outta of our way, everyone!

You yelled out as you charge towards the Shadow and gave it a hard punch to the face, slightly cracking the stone mask as the Shadow was staggered by your hard punch.

Pecorine: Yasuko, please get away from here! We'll handle this!

Yasuko: What are you saying?! That monster will-

Pecorine: We'll be fine! Trust us!

The huge Shadow goes for a punch toward Pecorine, but Pecorine blocked it using the blade of her sword

Pecorine: Go, quickly!

Yasuko: Don't do anything crazy!

(Y/N): No promises!

Both Yasuko and the Male Store Owner named, Tome, ran away together, leaving you and Pecorine to defeat the Shadow monster.

You then looked back at the huge Shadow monster and thought to yourself.

(Y/N): (So this is the Shadow with the stone mask that Karyl mentioned. I have a feeling this fight probably won't be easy.)

That's when you see the huge Shadow regenerate its right arm until it fires out nail spikes toward you.

(Y/N): !?

Pecorine: (Y/N), watch out!

You then took a deep breath before blowing out cold air as you used Super Breath to quickly freeze the attack from the Shadow's nail spikes. You then punched it, shattering the frozen right arm as the creature roared.

Karyl: Pecorine! (Y/N)!

Pecorine: Karyl! You're alright! Please help us protect all these people!

Pecorine says as she expects Karyl to help you two out, but you noticed that Karyl is hesitating because you knew that she is still working with her boss.

Suddenly, the huge Shadow monster turned its attention back to Karyl and is quickly crawling towards her. However, you quickly got in front of the creature and punched it under its body as you send the Shadow flying into the air before you chase after it in the air and slammed your fists on its back, sending the Shadow back to the ground, creating a small crater on the ground from the impact.

(Y/N): Pecorine, now!

Pecorine: Got it! Full power, full throttle! Princess Strike!

Pecorine used her sword skill as she finishes off the mutated Shadow with all of her might. 

(Y/N): Awesome, you got it!

Kokkoro: Miss Pecorine and (Y/N) save the day again.

The blue glowing light coming from the Shadow's stone mask was turned off as if it was defeated easily, but it was immediately turned back on and was glowing red as the Shadow creates a dark tornado for a moment before it revealed its final form.

(Y/N): What!?

Pecorine: My Princess Strike...

Karyl: ...didn't work?

Suddenly, the humongous Shadow uses its hands and begins to charge up using electric powers. The Masked Shadow thrusts its hands onto the ground, creating a huge explosion as it destroys almost half of the Landosol's wall.

Kokkoro: Miss Karyl! Miss Pecorine!

(Y/N): NO!!

You quickly fly back down until the dust fades away as you see Pecorine holding the fallen debris using her left arm while Karyl was still on the ground.

Pecorine: Are you alright, Karyl?

Pecorine asks with a smile on her face and Karyl was surprised by this act. You then let out a sigh of relief until you see the Masked Shadow going for an attack using its fists.

(Y/N): Watch out!

You quickly got in front of Karyl and Pecorine and blocked the attacks from the Masked Shadow's attack.

Pecorine& Karyl: (Y/N)!

(Y/N): Both of you, get out of here!

Pecorine: But...!

(Y/N): This is not the time to talk, dammit! Get yourselves out of there! I'll keep this thing busy!

You yelled as you keep blocking the Masked Shadow's punching attacks. Pecorine grits her teeth as she decided to listen to you and starts lifting the debris on Karyl's left ankle, setting her free.

Pecorine: Come on!

Pecorine offers her hand out to Karyl and the young cat lady accepts it. Pecorine then carries Karyl's hand over her neck until the three of you see that the Masked Shadow stopped throwing punches and noticed that it was charging an energy ball as it starts to enlarge itself.

You then realized that it starts charging an energy beam toward you, Karyl, and Pecorine.

Pecorine: Wha-What's it doing!?

Karyl: Damn, it's firing an energy beam...!

You clenched your teeth along with your right fist.

(Y/N): Well...looks like I have to do this...!

Karyl: What are you trying to do?!

You then reeled your right arm back with your palm out until you start to focus on your energy. That's when Pecorine and Karyl notice that a blue energy ball appears in your palm until you said...

(Y/N): Ka...me...ha...me...HAAAAA!

You fired your energy beam towards the Masked Shadow as the creature fired its own energy beam as well.

The two beams begin to clash at each other, but you had much power within you as you push your right arm to overpower the Masked Shadow's energy beam and it only evaporate its body.

Karyl and Pecorine were stunned at what they had just seen.

Karyl: W...Whoa...

You were panting a little before kneeling down on the ground out of exhaustion. Both Karyl and Pecorine went over to your aid.

(Y/N): Are you two okay?

Pecorine: We're fine, (Y/N).

(Y/N): Heh, that's good...

You said with a smile on your face until...

Karyl: Stupid! Stupid! Stupid! Stupid! Why do you bother helping the weak?! Just ignore them! Why'd you cover for us?

You and Pecorine were surprised at Karyl's outburst.

(Y/N): Why do you ask? Well...anyone can be a hero. Even if you had thought of abandoning someone, but yet you still love them. It's okay to be a jerk sometime, as long as you don't cross the line, Karyl.

You said in a gentle tone of your voice as Karyl looked down and thought about what you had said.

Kokkoro: (Y/N)!

Kokkoro called out to you until Yuuki sees the Masked Shadow regenerated from your blast attack.

(Y/N): Tch...I knew that monster can still regenerate!

Both Pecorine and Yuuki got in front of the Masked Shadow with their swords out as Yuuki concentrate using his Princess Art skill.

Pecorine: Kokkoro, please heal (Y/N)! We'll buy you some time!

Kokkoro: Thanks! Hold still, (Y/N)!

(Y/N): Ugh...thanks.

While Yuuki was using his power to strengthen his allies, this also activates the power inside him.

Yuuki: HAAAAAHH!!! Ggh...!

While powering up, he had visions of his fallen allies as he struggles to power up, but he was weakened as Yuuki hold his head in pain.

Kokkoro: My lord!

Pecorine: Yuuki, are you okay?!

Suddenly, walls start to appear from the ground.

Pecorine: Wha...What's happening?!

The Masked Shadow breaks through the wall to attack Yuuki and Pecorine, but a mysterious glowing circle appears. Pecorine noticed it and dodged out of the way, but Yuuki stood there as the water surrounds the young boy, and protected him from the Masked Shadow's punch until the water took him and vanished out of thin air.

Kokkoro: My lord!

That's when you notice the glowing circle surrounding you, Kokkoro, and Karyl.

(Y/N): Guys, move!

You then pushed both Karyl and Kokkoro away as the girls watched as the water takes you away out of their sight.

Karyl/Kokkoro/Pecorine: (Y/N)!

The girls cried out to you until more glowing circles appeared beneath Kokkoro, Karyl, and Pecorine as the three girls were dragged beneath the sand floor.

The Masked Shadow breaks through the walls, but the walls formed around the Masked Shadow, creating a dome and trapping the monster inside.

-With you and Yuuki-

Somewhere in a grey desolate area, we see Yuuki slowly waking up after being taken away by a magic circle.

Yuuki: Pecorine? Karyl? Kokkoro? (Y/N)?

That's when he hears the sound of a familiar voice groaning beside Yuuki as he turned to his right and sees you lying on the ground.

Yuuki: (Y/N)!

Yuuki then runs up towards you and gently shakes you to wake you up.

YuukI: (Y/N), wake up! Wake up!

He says while shaking you until you eventually woke up.

(Y/N): Ugh...Yuuki?

Yuuki: I'm here.

Yuuki then offers his hand out. You then accept it as he helps you stand up. Both you and Yuuki looked around in confusion.

(Y/N): Whoa...where the heck are we? And...where's Karyl and the others?

Yuuki: I...don't know...

Suddenly, a feminine voice speaks behind you two.

???: Don't worry. I tucked them all away somewhere safe.

Both you and Yuuki turned to your left and see a familiar figure approaching you two.

And it was none other than the red-haired Crepe lady, Labyrista.

Labyrista: Hey.

Yuuki: The crepe lady...

Labyrista: Ahahaha, that's right. I run the crepe stall. But that's just...a front I use to conceal my identity.

(Y/N): What?

-With Kokkoro-

Back to Kokkoro, we see her walking down the hallways of a castle.

Kokkoro: Is this...the inside of a castle?

Kokkoro questions as she opens the two doors and went inside until she sees something that surprises her.

Kokkoro: Miss Pecorine?
